That night, Bashful was getting ready for the ball.
He wore a black tuxedo and a light green-and-dark green mask.
He wore his hair back.
Dopey tied his bowtie for him.
"Thanks, Dopey." he said. "But I never got to ask you, when did you start talking?"
"Doc made a speciaw potion for mute pee-paa wike me, and it worked." Dopey explained.
"Yeah, that explains it." said Bashful.
"Um, can you keep a secwet?" asked Dopey.
"Sure." said Bashful.
"I have a cwush on Ms. Honeydew's daughtew, Spastic." Dopey explained.
"Well, why do you tell her your crush on her, that's what I did with Queen Delightful." said Bashful.
"Oh, okay!" said Dopey.
(Ms. Honeydew appears wearing a midnight blue dress)
"Um, your Shyness, I'm sorry to bother you," she said. "But the guests are here, waiting for you.
Also.... The Jollywood Council and I apologize for our behavior from the other day."
"Apology accepted." said Bashful.
(Cut to the ballroom, everyone arrives)
[The song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" by The Eurythmics plays]
Bashful comes in the ballroom and is very happy.
(Trumpet fanfare, the music stops)
"The Queen and her parents are here." said Head Of Jollywood Council.
Queen Delightful and her parents, King Father Festive and Queen Mother Melody (the former rulers of Jollywood) came in puzzled and confused.
And then Sneezy and Happy came in with the pudding and accidentally dropped the bowl on Queen Delightful's head.
"What is the meaning of this?" said King Father Festive.
"We are a thousand times sorry King Festive and Queen Melody." said Happy.
"Now, Happy, you know better than to call us King Festive and Queen Melody." said Queen Mother Melody. "You are to address us as 'King Father Festive' and 'Queen Mother Melody'."

"Oh, yes, right, so sorry, my mistake." said Happy, very nervous.
Then King Father Festive noticed that the curtains were open.
"Who opened those curtains?!" he said.
"Your Majesty, I can explain." said Head Of Jollywood Council. "This is the doing of King Bashful."
Then King Father Festive noticed the moon.
"Oh, my, what a lovely view of the moon!"
Then Queen Mother Melody noticed that there was mostly commoners in the ballroom.
"Commoners?! In the castle?!" she said.
"I tried to tell him, but he simply refused to listen." said Head Of Jollywood Council. "This is an absolute disaster!"
Then Queen Mother Melody noticed a familiar woman with curly brown hair, tan skin, a lavender dress, magenta lipstick, and matching magenta glasses.
"Oh, hello, Roberta." she said, greeting the woman.
Then Queen Delightful noticed the pudding on her face and got the bowl off of her head.
"What is this?" she asked.
"Your--- I mean OUR dessert, my wife." said Bashful, nervously.
"NO PRUNES FOR DESSERT?!" she snapped.
But before Bashful could say anything else, Queen Delightful tasted the pudding.
"Yum, chocolate! My favorite!" she said.
Bashful was relieved and smiled.
"What happened to the music?" asked King Father Festive. "Keep it playing. Everybody dance!"
(Music plays again)
"Um, Bashful, there's something I have to tell you." said Queen Delightful as they walked to their thrones.
Then King Father Festive followed them and placed a crown on Bashful's head and everyone stopped dancing when they saw it.
"Attention everyone!" he said. "I would like to make a toast.
To the new king of Jollywood and the son I never had."
Everyone clapped.
"Another dance!" said Queen Mother Melody.
Then King Father Festive went with her.

(The song "Rock The Casbah" by The Clash plays)
Spastic and Dopey are seen dancing, then Dopey kisses Spastic on the lips.
(Cut back to Bashful and Queen Delightful)
"Bashful, about that thing I wanted to tell you," said Queen Delightful. "I'm.... I'm pregnant."
"What?" said Bashful.
"I'm pregnant and you're going to be a father to our unborn son or daughter." she explained. "I was originally going to tell you before we left, but I didn't want to startle you."
But instead of being startled, Bashful smiled.
"That's alright, I don't care what happens, I'm just happy that we're going to have a child." said Bashful.
"You seem very happy about being married to a queen." said Queen Delightful.
"Some day, I'll get this king thing right." said Bashful.
"I think that day is today." said Queen Delightful.
Then (King) Bashful and Queen Delightful kissed.
(The End)
(In case you're wondering where I got this from.
It was from the movie "Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True", if you haven't seen it, it's a good movie, and that's why I made this story.

Alex and Julius, a pair of brothers, try their best to make it in a North America reshaped by an eldritch apocalypse. “Stop right there Philip!” Julius interrupted, the vein on his temple starting to throb. “I do not want to hear another simile about what magic is. I have had magic explained to me by three cult leaders, a wizard, and a cannibal. I've heard that magic is like a rainbow, all its parts blending together. The human unconsciousness, powerful and unknowable. A body, you don't want to eat the heart straight away. I am sick and tired of people telling me what magic is. I know damn well what it is.” He drew a breath, interrupting his rant. “Magic is a bad joke. A whole lot of setup, for some nonsense punchline. This whole god-damned apocalypse is an eldritch comedy.”
