The teens got up around nine in the morning. Lauren didn't come in to wake them up. Even if she had, they would have already been awake. Last nights events shook them up pretty bad. Some were able to sleep for maybe thirty minutes before waking up again. The shock was pretty bad. That's what happens when you see a superhero bleeding out on the floor from a gunshot wound. It gets worse when said superhero is your classmate/friend.

They all got up and took showers to try to wake up. It was really quiet between the teens as opposed to their normally energetic selves. On top of that, they were extremely sore from the day before. They walked wordlessly to the kitchen. They sat at the table without food. None of them had much of an appetite. The silence was broken by Wanda walking up to them.

"Hey guys. Come with me." She said, tiredly. They all took notice to her tired appearance. She was in sweatpants and a T-shirt, her hair was tangled. The teens wondered what the rest of the Avengers looked like right about now. They followed her wordlessly into the elevator. The only noise was the sound of the elevator humming as it moved and the soft beeps as the floor number changed.

When the elevator came to a stop, they followed Wanda out and into a conference looking room. It was very large with windows for natural light along with regular lights. There was what looked like a stage with chairs lined up in front of the stage. The Avengers were sitting on the edge of the stage, feet dangling off, looking exhausted and stressed. Wanda joined them beside Vision and Strange. The teens finally got a good look at them as they sat down.

Everyone looked so tired. Their hair was a mess, all of them were in casual wear, including Pepper and Tony. Vision was the only one who looked decent. Probably because he wasn't really human... The worst out of them was Tony. His hair looked like he had run his hands through it a couple thousand times. His eyes had bags under them and you could see the faint stain of blood on his hands. MJ took notice of that.

"Despite last nights events..." Pepper started. "Today, you guys can ask us anything you'd like." She said with a small smile. The teens exchanged looks between each other.

"It just seems weird..." Ned spoke up. The other teens murmured in agreement. The Avengers exchanged looks between each other. Tony sighed.

"Look. The kid has been through worse. Once Cho got the bullet out, he started to heal. And he heals way faster than normal." He explained, trying to make the situation a bit more bearable. It was silent again.

"Then why are you guys so stressed out?" Charles asked nervously. In any other situation, he wouldn't have straight up asked that, but everyone here was tired. Natasha answered his question.

"Peter rarely comes to us for help when he gets hurt. It's just how he is, so we never really see how bad it is because he's already mostly healed." She explained.

"And believe it or not, he's been hurt at least two other times during this trip." Clint added. Everyone looked at him.

"What do you mean? He's gotten hurt once. What else happened?" Shuri asked lowly. Clint forced a chuckle.

"He may or may not have fallen out of the window... forcefully." The room exploded with questions. "HE WAS FINE!! He had his web shooters." Clint said innocently. Tony scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"So, on top of getting stabbed and shot, you pushed him out of a window." Wanda said. It was more of a statement than a question. The teenagers exploded once again.

"HE GOT STABBED?!"

"WHAT?! WHEN?!"

"HOW IS HE EVEN ALIVE?!"

The questions kept coming until Steve gave them a look. They immediately stopped talking.

"Yes. He got stabbed earlier this week. I had to come in and grab him." Tony explained. The teens stared at him, wide eyed. "It wasn't the first time either." He mumbled, quietly. Apparently, it wasn't quiet enough because the teens heard it. They exploded into more questions.

"OKAY! SHUT UP!" Sam and Scott yelled at the same time for effect. The teens stopped asking questions once again.

"Thank you." Pepper said turning to Sam and Scott. They smiled at her like children. She smiled before turning back to the teens. "Peter can answer your questions about anything Spider-Man related when he wakes up in a few, but for now... you're stuck with us. So, Ask away."

The teens sat in the conference room, talking amongst themselves.

"I cannot believe the whole reason Mr. Stark and Miss Potts got engaged was because Peter turned down being an Avenger." Abe said. The teens laughed, thinking about that.

"What's even worse is that he didn't even know the room was full of actual reporters!" Sally added. The teens laughed even harder. When the laughter died down, they all looked over at MJ who was sitting quietly with her knees pulled up to her chest, staring off into nothing. They looked back at each other, silence enveloping the room. No one said anything else for a while, they just laid on the floor, looking at the ceiling.

The silence was disrupted when the door creaked open quietly. Ned looked over, eyes widening when he saw who it was. The rest of the class followed.

"MJ." MJ whipped her head around to see Peter standing in the door way. She got up and ran to him, but stopped abruptly right in front of him. "Are you o-" Peter was cut off by MJ kissing him. It was a quick second, but it was enough to render everyone shocked once again. She smiled weakly at him.

"I really like you, Peter." She started. "I took you almost dying to realize it, but I do. I really-" She was cut of by Peter taking a small step forward and kissing her. It was short like the previous kiss.

"I really like you, too." Peter whispered. She smiled before they both leaned forward to kiss each other. It lasted a few seconds longer than the last two. They were disrupted when someone coughed awkwardly. The pair turned towards the Decathlon group, both very red. "H-hi guys." Peter started. "I-I don't even know where to begin." He forced a laugh.

"How about you start by answering a few thousand questions." Flash said. The rest of the group nodded. Peter sucked in a big breath before exhaling and nodding slowly. He walked over to the stage, hand on his stomach, and sat on the ledge of the stage with a quiet grunt. MJ sat beside him while Ned walked over to him.

"Dude. Don't ever get shot again." Ned said. Peter laughed as they did their handshake.

"No promises." Peter smiled as Ned sat down beside him. He looked towards his classmates. "Who's first?" The teens all raised their hands. Peter laughed. "Flash."

"What are your super powers?" The class stared at him awaiting his answer. Peter smiled.

"Uhh super strength, speed, agility for sure, my reflexes are way better, I can stick to most solid surfaces, and I have this sixth sense that allows me to sense danger." He counted, waving his hands around to explain his sixth sense.

"Can you stick to a non-stick pan?" The class looked at Abe. "What?! I need to know. For scientific purposes." He stated innocently. He looked back to Peter. "Can you?"

"Umm... I haven't tested that one out yet." Peter replied with a shrug.

"How does your spidey sense work?" Charles asked. Peter gave him a look.

"Spidey sense?"

"Well yeah. We can't just keep calling it 'Peter's weird sixth sense.'" Peter was quiet for a moment.

"I like it." Charles smiled. "Anyways, it allows me to detect danger before it happens. It's like this tingly feeling. The more dangerous or how close the danger is makes the feeling increase."

"Why didn't it warn you before you got shot?" Everyone looked at Sally. She looked nervous. "Sorry..." Peter hid his grimace at the memory.

"I've been stressed lately. This whole trip and the nightmares and-" Peter stopped himself. He froze, realizing what he just said. The whole class stared at him, too. MJ squeezed his hand, snapping him out of his frozen state.

"What nightmares...?" Cindy asked nervously. The class felt as if they were walking on thin ice. Peter took in a deep breath.

"Remnants of Homecoming." He stated plainly. The team nodded. Peter didn't understand why they didn't ask more until Ned put a hand on his shoulder. Peter smiled. He had the greatest best friend/guy in the chair. "Anyways... its just been on the fritz lately."

"Wait. When did you actually meet the Avengers?" Flash asked.

"I met Mr. Stark when he recruited me to go to Germany. I 'met' mostly everyone else during the Civil War. I met Mr. Steve when I stole his shield and we had a short conversation as I was holding a containership thingy. Wanda totally freaked out when she found out she threw cars at a fifteen year old kid." Peter smiled at the memory. The class stared at him.

"You stole Captain America's shield?" Abe asked.

"THE Scarlet Witch threw cars at you?!" Sally shrieked. Peter laughed and nodded.

"Dude. Your life. Is awesome." Ned said smiling widely. "Wait when did you meet the rest of them?!"

"Thor came for a visit, and this was before I had met him. I was snacking on Pop-Tarts and he just walked up to me and asked if he could have some. I kind of just stared at him and handed him the box. He said thank you and then sat down on the couch. Mr. Stark walked in and Thor goes. 'Ah, Metal Man! I have met your son!' and Mr. Stark was like, 'Yeah, hi. This is Peter. Underoos, that's Point Break.' and that was basically it." Peter rushed out with one breath. The class stared at him and gave him looks to continue. Peter took a deep breath

"I met Dr. Banner when I was in the lab. I saw an unfinished equation so I sat down and worked on it while I waited for Mr. Stark. I filled it in and when Dr. Banner walked in he was like, 'did you finish this?' and I was like, 'oh crap, I done messed up.' so I just nodded and he was like, 'I've been working on this for days and you just sat here in a few minutes and finished it?' Again, I just nodded and then he introduced himself and I was like 'ohmygoditsbrucebanner.'"

"I met Shuri when she and King T'Challa came over here to help Mr. Stark with some oh his vibranium projects. They knew about my identity and she asked if I wanted her help to update my suit. I was like, 'heck yeah!' and we worked on it all day. We added a bit of vibranium to the Iron Spider suit and added some to my webs to make them stronger."

"I met Hawkeye officially when he pranked me. I was sleeping on the couch in the commons room, the room where we got the poptarts. I sensed that someone was coming so I started to wake up but I was too slow and he dumped five gallons of water on me." The teens started to laugh at his misfortune. He waited for them to quiet down before continuing. "Then, he threw a bag of flour on my head and a few eggs." The teens literally started wheezing. Peter pouted while MJ cracked a small smile. Ned was actually rolling on the floor.

"Wanda introduced me to Vision. I have a room next to him. He's not big on doors... or walls. Natasha introduced herself to me and started to train me. I met Sam- err.. Falcon and Scott, aka Ant-Man, when me and Clint were up playing Mario Cart at 2 A.M. I met Rhodey, aka War Machine, when he came into the lab looking for Mr. Stark and though I was Mr. Starks secret child. I met Dr. Strange when I was training and he came in there looking for someone. I met Bucky after he came back from Wakanda to get rid of Hydra's brainwashing. I met Loki when Thor brought him one time and..." Peter paused to think. "That's pretty much it."

The class stared at him. This was awesome. They knew a superhero. AN AVENGER! The teens went and ate before heading back to their room. They spent most of the night talking about his adventures as Spider-Man and some of his worst injuries. Soon enough Peter went to sleep with MJ at his side. Betty looked at him before turning towards Ned.

"Is Peter... actually ok?" She asked. Ned turned towards her as the teens looked between Peter and Ned. Ned sighed.

"He says he is. He acts like he can face the world on his own. I'm scared one day he'll get hurt and not be able to get back up..." The room went silent. "That's just how Peter is. He doesn't like it when people worry about him." They stared at Peter.

"Then we make sure he stays safe." MJ spoke up. The teens looked over to her as she ran her hands lightly through his hair.

"How do we do that?" Abe asked.

"We make a groupchat!" Sally offered. The teens smiled.

"For all things Spidey!" Charles added.

"To make sure he stays safe and look out for him." Cindy said. The teens nodded in agreement.

"So we can cover for him when he has to leave." Flash added. The other looked at him. He's changed. Hopefully for good. Ned spoke up.

"Oooo! We can call it PPPS!" He squealed excitedly. The teens looked at him.

"What does it stand for?" MJ asked from her spot beside Peter. Ned grinned, staying silent for effect. The teens stayed silent and unmoving while waiting for his answer.

"The Peter Parker Protection Squad."
