It started as a normal week. Wake up, go to school, get home, do homework, be Spider-Man. Occasionally, Peter would stop by the tower and work on things with Mr. Stark, or just hang out with the other Avengers. This week was different. As of Wednesday, the Decathlon Team were informed about a retreat to the Avengers Tower for a whole week. Now, everyone was beyond excited at this concept, except for Peter.
"Ned!" Peter whisper-yelled over the other students chatter. "I can NOT go on this retreat!!" Ned leaned over to Peter before responding.
"What do you mean you can't go? You have to go! And plus, you know the Avengers! You should be happy about the chance to prove Flash wrong!" Ned responded, much to Peter's dismay. Peter was hoping for his friend to help him get out of this. On top of that, as soon as his name left Ned's mouth, Flash came strolling over.
"Yo Parker! What's wrong? Scared we're all going to find out your internship is fake?" Flash basically laughed in his face. Peter just ignored him as he walked away.
"Ned, you don't understand." Peter lowered his voice to a light whisper. "If I'm stuck in the Tower for a week, how am I going to be Spider-Man?!" Ned just looked at Peter.
"Dude, you managed to hide it from everyone, minus me, MJ, and May, for how long? You'll be fine." Peter was about to reply when MJ leaned over.
"Whatcha' talking about, losers?" Ned basically jumped out of his skin at MJ's sudden appearance. She pulled up a chair as Peter responded, "I'm trying to find a way out of this field trip."
"Ah, 'gotcha." Ned was confused by MJ's lack of questions at Peter's statement. He thought she would be at least somewhat confused as to why Peter wanted to skip on the retreat of a life time. He was about to question her when Mr. Harrington came around passing out permission slips.

"Alright team! Make sure to go home and get these signed. If you don't, you will not be able to go on the trip! And before you ask, yes, you have to come to school still if you don't get it signed." He said as he passed Peter, Ned and MJ.
"Well there goes that," Peter thought. "Maybe I can fake being sick? No, Aunt May would see right through it. Maybe I could tell her I have homework! The team had started to file out of the room excitedly. Yeah... no. That didn't work on Mr. Stark. Maybe I could-"
"Peter!" Ned yelled. Peter snapped his head up before looking around the room, noticing everyone was gone. "Time to go home dude."
"Right..." Peter replied absent mindedly as he packed his stuff up before leaving. They walked to the front of the school and said their goodbyes. Peter headed to the limo where he saw Happy waiting. Peter entered the limo without his normal 'Hey Happy!' greeting. Happy looked at Peter in the mirror with a confused and concerned look before driving off.
Peter got home and basically threw himself onto the couch. "How am I going to get out of this?" Peter's thoughts were soon interrupted by his Aunt May.
"Hey Peter! How was school today?" May called from the kitchen. Peter took a deep sigh before responding.
"It was.. good." He replied, unsure of himself. He hoped May wouldn't catch onto his uncertainty.
"That's good!" Peter was thinking of just completely not telling May about the trip. His hopes were shattered as she continued. "I got an email from the school today. You guys are going on a trip to the Tower!! Isn't that exciting?!" Peter suppressed a groan as he heard the words leave his aunts mouth. "Of course she knows. That's just my luck."

"Yeah! It's great..." He replied. "Actually, Aunt May.." He sat up from his spot on the couch and looked out the window. "I was wondering... if I could, um... not go on the retreat...?" He trailed off, wincing at his words and looking up at his aunt. May looked back at Peter and read his face before going over and sitting on the couch with him.
"Oh Pete. Why would you want to skip this? It's a great opportunity! You can get closer with your team. And you get the week off of school! You don't even have to make up the work!" May replied. She was wondering why in the world Peter would want to skip this. He absolutely loved going to the tower!! Peter sighed before answering.
"I wouldn't be able to be Spider-Man without risking the team finding out my identity! And with my luck, Mr. Stark would do something to embarrass me!!" He replied, throwing his arms up at the end. May knew he was serious about this. Tony would do something to embarrass Peter on the trip. It was just his nature. She pulled Peter over to where his head was laying on her shoulder.
"It'll be okay Pete. I'm sure you and Tony can work something out so you can be Spider-Man during the trip." She replied as she hugged his head to her shoulder. He sighed.
"I guess you're right..." Peter replied. May gave him a quick kiss on his head before letting him go and standing up.
"I know I am. Now go do your homework and I'll sign the form." She smiled at him. Peter smiled and grabbed the form for her to sign before heading up to do his homework. Peter texted Ned, letting him know he was going on the trip.
"Maybe it won't be so bad..."

I will not be eaten
Litchi is your ordinary Royal Road addict. She can’t resist the call of a new chapter even when she needs to work. Because of too many new responsibilities she promises one week without reading. Sadly, she cracks in three days, because of an Azarinth Healer notification. Taking out her phone she starts avidly reading. It’s just a small promise, she will try it another time. Nothing should happen. Say that to the goblin that tries to eat your face, Litchi! You should keep your promise! She was used to food jokes on her name but it seems that this time her destiny is to be eaten. ---- Hello future reader! I didn’t find a new good isekai so why not create my own? I am an RR addict and amateur writer (in French) and today I decided to publish a story. You will have my eternal gratitude for any advice or constructive comments on the story! One of my objectives is to have developed characters, duo or trio make a fantastic way to character growth. So, I will try to create a deep relationship between a few of them. The first few chapters have a lot of combat, but other characters will soon arrive. Those first few chapters are made to build tension and create Litchi's first motivations. This story has the plot written to the end and important characters already shaped. This story is short in comparison to the majority of RR fantasy stories. Update every two days until I have no more chapters in my pocket. Average chapter length: 2200 words Warning: The grammar can be bad, IMPORTANT CHARACTERS CAN (Will) DIE, contain philosophical conversation as the characters stumble upon morals dilemmas. I hope I will see you soon in the comments and thank you in advance for reading Litchi’s journey. Have a nice day! :)

Automata Annex
This Fiction is intended as a suppliment to my main title "I was reborn into a fantasy world as a magic robot?! Automata Prime". This is the appendix that would normally go at the END of the book. I will be updating the entries as new information is revealed in the story and linking back here from the author notes. Here we'll explore the world that I've crafted in the book, learn new things about the characters, and get a deeper understanding of how magic works. Think of it as an Automata Wiki.

The Genre of My Life Was Randomized?
The wheel spun and the genre changed. In every chapter, a new canvas made up of a thousand words was formed. I, the creator, do not know the future of this novel. I, the author, is but a mere slave that writes and creates what the wheel has given. What would happen after? What fate awaits the main character? When would you encounter the next chapter? Besides the latter, only the wheel could answer. Author's Note:Salutations dear reader. I'd like to dissuade you from reading this novel due to the following facts: 1. I am an amateur/new/beginner writer so it could be said that I don't know what I'm doing. 2. This novel is something which I wrote in order to hone my skills in adaptability, creativity, and writing in of itself. 3. Every chapter was made after spinning a wheel with the genres: Action, Horror, Romance, Comedy, Fantasy (as of writing) twice. The genres then would be showed in the chapter through theme, part of the story, flow, character, or whatever man idk. In case the wheel would show the same genre twice, the chapter itself would have the result as the main theme of the story with the other genres being free to use in order to fully show the theme. 4. I'm basically yoloing the story, trying to make sense of it even with the randomness of the current and future chapters; I swear I'm not a masochi.. *ahem* moving on, a variable left by the previous chapter won't suddenly just disappear because the next chapter doesn't have the same genre as before, meaning if a character that fits a genre was shown on let's say "Chapter 1", said character wouldn't just disappear or cease to exist for no reason at "Chapter 2" or the following chapters just because the character doesn't fit the genres. To make it short this isn't a collection of short stories but one big story instead. 5. Etc.
