Lyon POV

I sat on the railing with a look of worry as I watched Ace with quite a sad expression on his face, its been awhile since we told him about Atami, since then he's been awfully quiet. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to tell him that he had a sister... & that she's dead! I scratch the prim of my noise & started debating whether to go over to him or not, Sil looked up at me as if knowing what I was thinking, so he grabbed the end of my coat & started dragging me over to him

"Stop it Sil, your going to tear it for christ sakes!"

"Then go over to him, asshat." I give him a look

"Rude." he glares at me so I hold my hands up in defence, I sigh before shaking my head & going over to Ace, when I was beside him I place my hand on his shoulder "How are you holding up?" he shrugs

"I don't know, confused? I just found out I had a sister, I just-- I-I just wish I could've met her." I chuckle & mess up his hair

"I bet you two would've gotten along nicely!" I laugh lightly "You kinda remind me so much of her, from the freckles to you both falling asleep randomly! When I first saw her fall asleep in her food I'm pretty sure I started crying." he looked at me with widened eyes

"You cried."

"Oi, but yes I did. She loved me, she was the first one, other than Thatch & pops, to ever hear my voice. I trusted her so much... but now I-- or we, have no idea where she or the other three are." I mutter, I sigh deeply & look out to sea "Looking out to the ocean also reminds me of her, since her power is to control the ocean or anything liquid based." he had a shocked look on her face

"She can control the water?! Can it weaken her?" I shook my head

"Nope, it only made her stronger. I only knew a few of her weaknesses, but that's about it." he suddenly leaned onto my shoulder

"Can you tell me more about her?" hearing that only made me smile

"Sure." before I could even begin I was called to go see pops, with a sad expression I ruffle Ace's hair & stood up "Sorry, guess it'll have to wait."

"Its fine, at least I'm not so down anymore."

"That's good to hear! I'll catch you later! Oh, you should talk to Thatch! He knows an awful lot about Atami."

"You bloody brat! I'll make you regret those choice of words!" he screamed with a red face, I laughed before I waved Ace goodbye then whistling & signalling Sil to follow, to which he does "I made him happy, your welcome." he rolls his eyes

"Whatever, if it wasn't for me he wouldn't be."

"True true, I'll give you that." Sil & I walk into pop's room & I sigh sadly at the sight of him, he had all kinds of medical equipment attached though I flinched when he coughed into his hand a little violently "Pops!" he looks at me & immediately a smile graced his lips

"Leo." I walk over to him when I see him try to get out of his bed "How are you doing?" I laugh lightly

"I should be the one asking you that pops." he laughs loudly

"Gurarara! I had a feeling you'd ask me that, though I've been wondering how Ace has been doing. He's been down ever since we told him about Atami." I sigh & scratch the back of my neck

"He's confused, he just wishes he could've met her. God, I wonder what happened to them, they were so strong so... man I don't even know anymore." I look up at him & see he had a sad look on his face "Oh right, Shawn was your..."

"My biological son, I miss him so much... I love him so much." I rub his arm in a comforting way "... but now the past is in the past, I know those 4 wouldn't want us feeling so down in the gutters, now would they." I shook my head

"Of course not! I'm pretty sure they'd want us to be happy, despite everything." we both smile at that

(Time Skip)

I was currently on an island getting a few things, Dimitri needed a few new parts to upgrade my arm but also build a few new things for the ship, Marco needed some ink &, a few new maps & a new Log Pose while Thatch needed a simple herb, everyone else also gave me a list on what they wanted

"What the fuck am I, the errand boy?!" I yell angrily, I was sitting down outside a café with a cup of coffee. I took a sip from it as I ran my hand through my hair & messed with it, I crack my neck & lean back in my chair with my eyes closed but they snapped open when I felt a sudden bump then a thud "Huh...?" I turn around & see a girl on the ground, she has brown hair with a crimson red hat sitting on her head

"Ow...!" I immediately shot off my seat & went to her aid

"Oh my goodness, I am so sorry! I didn't see you there!" I knelt down on my knee & grasped her hand "Here, let me help you up."

"Thank you, such a gentleman." I could just hear the sarcasm in her tone, she then sighed "I'm sorry for that, I'm just in a bit of a bad mood right now & when you made me fall I got even more angry." I bow my head a bit

"I really am sorry, I'm in a pissy mood myself."

"Oh, really? Why so?" I point with my thumb at the pile of stuff behind me, she looks back at it before looking at me & nodding "Ah, errand boy?" I nodded

"Unfortunately so." that made her laugh "I'm Lyon by the way, Leo for short." I introduce as I extend my hand out to her, she smiles gleefully at me & takes it

"I'm Ko--"

"There you are, Koala!!" hearing that made us both look over to see a familiar looking blonde running over to us, it took a moment but I easily recognized who it was, he seemed to have recognized me as well cause he was pointing at me with widened eyes "Leo?!"

"Sabo!"

He stood where he was for a bit before running over to me & hugging me, I smile & hug him back. I feel him smile as he nuzzles his face into my chest which caused me to laugh, he pulled back & smiled widely up at me

"Wow look at you, Sabo! You've grown since the last time I've seen you, dude, are you growing your hair?" I ask as I brush my hand through his golden locks

"I could say the same with you! Not the hair part, but, what are you doing here? I heard that the Whitebeard Pirates were last seen in the South Blue."

"Well you heard wrong, they're not to far from here... no no, they are. They just wanted me to get some shit cause they were all not bothered, assholes."

"Sorry to interrupt, but how do you two know each other? A Revolutionary & a Pirate." I look at her with widened eyes before at Sabo

"Your a revo?!" he nodded

"Chief of Staff, to be precise." with that I ruffle his head

"I'm proud of you, Sabo!!" he grins but suddenly he, only him, was smacked on the head, leaving a huge bump in the process "Oh dear..."

"You still haven't answered me, Sabo-kun!!" I couldn't help but sweat drop as she yelled at him while stretching his cheeks to unimaginable lengths "How do you know such a wanted pirate like Virus Archer Lyon & Fire Fist Ace?!"

"Eh? I thought I already told you, they're both my older brothers." she stood there for a bit, she looked at me with her eyes wide & her jaw hanging

"Y-You two... are brothers?!" I shrug

"Not by blood, but by a bond." as I said that I wrap my arm around his shoulder & lightly punch him in the chest "& boy do we have a lot to catch up on!" he nodded his head

"Come come Koala, let's tell him everything!"

"Do you really need me then?" he nodded his head

"Of course, you were with me every step of the way."

"That's to keep you out of trouble." hearing that made me laugh, he blushed out of embarrassment

"Koala!"

(Time Skip)

"Eh? Thatch found a devil fruit?" I questioned over the line of the transponder snail to which it grinned at me "Now that's something, are you sure it's not a fake?" it opened it's mouth to reply but made a face that looked like it was shoved to the side

"Hey!"

"I'm sure it's not fake! I found it on a beach on my last mission!" Sabo then waved at me to look at him, so I did

"Ask him what it looks like."

"Oh right, what's it look like Thatch?"

"It's purple with a swirly pattern, I wonder what it can do!" I hear him say excitedly

"Hopefully it isn't to dangerous it'll kill you or something utterly stupid." I mutter to myself but it seems like it wasn't so quiet cause the others heard it & now there was laughing in the background, I cover my mouth as I chuckle a bit while Sabo was full on laughing & Koala was giggling "Did I say that out loud?"

"Yes, yes you did, & you wound me Leo." I shrug

"Can't help it." now he was shoved to the side

"Oi oi Leo! I heard Sabo's voice a few seconds ago, even if it was faint I know he's there! Hey Sabo! How have you been?!" as soon as Sabo heard that I moved away so the two could talk to each other, before I got the call from the others back on the ship Sabo has been telling me everything that's happened with Luffy & him when Ace left the island, how he's been getting stronger & stronger that he's able to fight head on against the leader of the revolutionary army

"So who is the leader, Koala?" she merely smiled at me

"I can't believe you don't even know, he's well known."

"Not so well known if I don't know him." she giggled

"His name is Dragon." I hum "He's the most wanted man in the entire world, if the Demon Quad were still around, they'd probably rival for that most wanted spot." hearing that kinda struck a nerve, not in a bad way... kinda in a triggering sad way

"Boy do I miss them."

"You knew them?" I nodded my head

"Sadly, we were very close."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. It's a real mystery what happened, they just disappeared off the face of the earth 17 years ago."

"I know, it's so confusing." I suddenly felt a tap so I look over & saw the snail looking at me, behind it was Sabo with a sad look on his face

"A guy named Marco wants to talk to you." I laugh lightly as I take the snail from him & mess up his hair

"Is this you now, Chief-yoi?"

"Indeed, what's up?"

"There's a huge storm heading our way, you might want to get back to the Moby Dick sometime soon-yoi. Don't want to get caught in it." when I hear him mention storm I look up at the sky & see clouds slowly start to appear

"I didn't even realize how long I was out, sorry."

"Neither did I, guess we got so caught up in our conversation we didn't even realize the time going by so fast." Koala nodded

"We might want to head back ourselves, I think Hack is still waiting for us." I sweat drop just thinking about how long the poor guy must have been waiting for

"With that being said, I'll see you guys back at the ship." the snail nodded

"See you then."

"See you later, Leo!" Sabo exclaimed cheerfully as he hugged me, I chuckle & pat his head

"See you soon." I look at Koala "Look after him will you? I have a feeling your going to do something real stupid in the future." he gives me an offended look

"Will do, Lyon-kun!"

Third Person POV

Leo rolled his shoulder before sighing when he heard a click, like Marco told him there was a huge storm & Leo just narrowly almost got caught in it. The waves were roughly crashing down on the Moby Dick once Leo stood up he immediately was struck down as he fell to the floor was a loud thud. He let out a frustrated groan as he picked himself up & used his desk to keep himself standing, he's currently planning on going to see the devil fruit Thatch has because he was quite curious about it... now he's not so sure he wants to anymore

"Whatever, I've been through worse..." he muttered to himself, he opened the door to his room & it flung open until it slammed against the wall "Jesus!" he managed to close the door before making his way to Thatch's room, he was close to his took but he saw that Thatch's door was wide open, he was very confused onto why he left his door open, he's a crazy bastard to do something like that

"What the...?" his eyes widened when he saw the figure holding the devil fruit & had a knife over-- "Thatch!"

"Huh?" Leo went over & grabbed the figures wrist, a flash of lightning showed who the figure was & their eyes widened who it was

"Teach...?"

"Damn it all!" his lip trembled before he grits his teeth & throws Teach out the room but luckily he grabbed the fruit

"Fucking bastard!"

"Teach!!" the two of them run after him & saw that he was on a boat & was sailing away

"Where the fuck do you think your going you traitor?!" he turned back & glared up at Leo

"You ruined everything! I'll make sure you pay for this, Stoneheart!" with that its like he disappeared, Leo looked over at Thatch

"Are you okay?! Your not hurt, are you?" he shook his head

"Thanks to you!" Leo looked out to where he last saw Teach & a sour look crept onto his face

'If I see you again... I'll make sure you fucking suffer!'

(Time Skip)

"He's a fucking traitor! He almost kill Thatch if it wasn't for Leo being there on time!"

"& I bless him for that! I'm not ready to die yet!" Leo gave him a look before shaking his head

"Ace!" everyone stopped what they were doing & looked back at Leo, he saw that Ace's gaze soften "What are you doing...?"

"I'm going after him! Don't think you can talk me out of it, Shaw!"

"Don't be an idiot, Ace! I'm serious. Use your brain for once, there's no way he could've survived that storm last night! The waves could've killed him." Leo reasoned

"Exactly!"

"You could be going on a wild goose chase for nothing!" he looked down at his feet, Leo shook his head

"Bloody hell, alright, how about this?" now they were all looking at him "Let's wait, if he shows up in the newspaper, signifying that he's alive... I'll let you go after him without stopping you."

"What?!"

"You can't be serious!"

"Unfortunately I am. Your just as stubborn as you were when you were a child, you won't give up until everything is right!" he smirked at him nervously

"Damn right I am."

"That ain't a good thing, egg."
