(Flashback)

Third Person POV

"Neh neh Atami, if you ever had a brother or sister, what you like them to be named?" little Leo had asked while he leaned against a sleeping Sil, who was chilling next to Opal who was also asleep. Atami was sitting next to Shaw & he gave her a look that said 'not any shitty names', that gave her a tick mark on her forehead

"What the fuck is that look suppose to mean?!"

"Nothing nothing." Kizu kicked Atami & she winced

"Stop yelling." Kizu said "I'm trying to read."

"& stop swearing." Alex added, she merely flipped him off as soon as he looked away "I saw that." she merely rolled her eyes

"Whatever! I'm not the one that decided on these names anyway, it was mum & dad. If it is a girl, her name would be Anne, & if a boy... his name would be Ace. I most likely prefer to have a little brother. It would be nice." she giggled

"Why brother?" she shrugged

"I'm not sure. I'd rather not have a family of just girls, that's annoying. A boy & girl is equal to me. This is all my opinion though, but either would be fine with me." Leo nodded his head

"I had a brother..." all four of them looked at him

"Really?! Whats he like?!" they yelled together

"He's an asshole. I hate him." the four sweat drop at that "I hope dies." now they were really shitting bricks. They've never heard him swear before & the fact that he said it so calmly... it kinda scared them

"Oh... really?"

"What, was his name (i actually forgot his name)?"

"... Xavier." Leo then suddenly started sniffing at the thought of remembering his older brother, being beaten, being bullied... being blamed for doing nothing "I-I hate him..." he repeated & suddenly started crying

"Oh no, oh no no no. Baby don't cry..." Atami cooed & pulled him into a hug, soon enough the other three joined in & started cooing sweet things into his ear to sooth him "We're sorry for making you talk about him."

"N-No... no no, i-its not you fault..." he sobbed

"If it makes anything better, we love you Leo." Shaw said, the other three nodded before they kissed his forehead

"... *sigh* oh god I miss them."

"So who's telling him-yoi?" Marco asked, snapping him out of his train of thought. Marco, Thatch, Leo & Whitebeard stood outside on the deck discussing on who was telling Ace about Atami "I think it should be Leo-yoi. He trusts you more now & you were the first one to know-yoi."

"Your pinpointing this on me?! I thought we were a team! Why don't you tell him? You made him agree to join the crew & stop attacking pops! I think that its you that should break the news to him!"

"Guys this is going nowhere, how about all three of us tell him? Or maybe even pops?"

"Why him?" Leo asked

"He just has a way. He can calm anyone." Leo had a thinking face before nodding "See, you think you can do that pops?" Whitebeard nodded at that

"Of course, but Leo my boy, can you be there?"

"Why? I'm not the type to comfort people. Don't you remember what I've been doing to him this entire time?" everyone sweat dropped at that "But yeah. Actually, I'll tell him but pops, please be there. I don't know what he's gonna do & I feel like he's gonna go crazy that I didn't tell him before."

"Okay, then its decided?" they all nod

"God, I wonder what he's going to think."

"Hopefully its something good." the four of them nod before walking off. Thatch & Marco adventured off to find the spotted idiot while Leo & Whitebeard sat in his room waiting patiently for them to bring the boy, the Commander of the 2nd Division was staring off into space as he thought of his life

"I wonder what would've happened if Marco didn't changed my mind? Most likely something pathetic, god… what's become of me." he slammed his head onto the railing & sighed "Man I'm stupid." he lifts his hand up & it began to flare up a bit before he let little green balls of flame emitted from the palm of his hand

He only let about a handful of them appear before watching them either die out or drift away by the wind, he look up at the starry night before closing his eyes &--

"Or Ace!" he jumped when he heard his name so he turned around & saw Marco & Thatch "Hey, what are these?" Thatch asked as he pointed at one of the green fireballs

"Their quite pretty-yoi…"

"Don't touch them! They're explosive." Thatch immediately jumped away

"Damn kid, pretty but deadly… me likey!" Marco rolled his eyes before smacking the back of his head

"Anyways-yoi, we came here looking for you." Ace raised an eyebrow

"Eh, what for?"

"Pops & Leo want to see you!"

"Did I so something?" they look at each other before shaking their heads & giving him a reassuring smile

"Not really. Its just something important-yoi." Thatch nodded

"Mm mm! Now go, don't keep em waiting!" Ace nodded before sprinting off "Your going the wrong way!"

"Their in pop's office!"

"Right, right!" Ace turned around before sprinting off the right way. A million questions went off in his head on why the two wanted to talk to him. Was he doing a bad job as a commander? Are they going to kick him off the crew? Did Leo finally figure out that it was him that spray painted his arm pink that one time?!

"Oh god what did I do?!" he was now in front of the door & was going to knock but stopped when he heard

"Come in." & so he did

"Ace, your finally here." Whitebeard greeted, he looked over & saw Leo having a thinking face, once he heard Ace's name he looked up & gave him a nervous smile

"A-Am I in trouble…?" Ace asked quietly

"What? No no no! Lyon here just needs to tell you something really important." Ace looks at Leo & saw that he ran his left hand through his hair before looking Ace dead in the eye

"Oh shit, Ace… remember 7 years ago when we first met. Remember how I asked you if you had a brother or sister?" Ace looked at him weirdly

"Yes…" he hesitantly asked

"Well, I asked you that because your surname is the exact same as a woman that use to be apart of this crew. Her name was Portgas D. Atami, she is your older sister." his eyes widened at that

"W-What… but t-that means…"

"Yes, Gol D. Roger had two children." Ace's eyes began to water as he grits his teeth

"Well where is she now?! To much of a coward to reveal herself to me!"

"Ace my boy, she disappeared 17 years ago, the same day when you were born. No one has seen her or… o-or the other 3 since then… &-& I don't think she even knew about your existence." he sniffed a bit

"I have, no no, I HAD a sister & HE didn't even tell me?!"

"He? Who he?"

"GARP!! Dadan told me that he gave me to her to look after, said that I was an only child… guess he lied about that!!" Whitebeard & Leo looked at each as Ace began to break down, they hug him but that calmed Ace down a tiny bit "I-I wish I could've met her…"

"We do too, she was a lovely woman & I bet she would've loved you with all her heart."

"… what did she look like…?"

"Like your mother." Whitebeard answered immediately "Long strawberry blonde hair, chocolate brown eyes, freckles…"

"What was she like?"

"She was known as the strongest woman that ever sailed the seas. She can be serious at times but she's mostly childish & energetic & very competitive. She's also narcoleptic, like you."

"She sounds amazing…"

"Just like you. Oh, & did you know that Thatch has a huge crush on her?"

"Leo!!" & that was Thatch, he slammed the door open & was blushing up a storm "How could you?!"

"Whaaat?"
