felix began walking home from the cafè, not caring about the distance in the slightest. as he walked, he let his mind wander and fill with his negative thoughts once again. he was tired of trying to be happy, but he was also tired of being questioned by his friends.
felix wanted to go back, back to when things were simpler. he wasn't sure when exactly that was though.
part of him wanted to go back to the time when him and changbin had just began dating, but another part of him wanted to go back to the time his father was still alive.
as felix was walking, he watched the sky quickly turn to gray, and the rain droplets beginning to fall from the sky. he let out a heavy sigh as he shook his head, but felix just kept on walking.
much to felix's dismay, he was sent into a flashback of a time where this happened once before. except the time he was remembering, he was not walking alone.
"i wish i could drive." changbin said to me with a slight pout on his face.
"why is that?" i questioned as a smile tugged at the corners of my mouth.
"because then this date wouldn't suck ass." changbin rolled his eyes as he muttered this.
"i don't think this date sucks." i said to him.
"but we're walking home in the rain."
"so what? i like the rain."
"how do you manage to stay so happy through everything? i don't understand it." changbin shook his head.
"i'm not always happy, but i am always smiling." i corrected him.
"so basically you're a master of faking it?" changbin questioned as he enlaced his fingers with mine. his gentle touch sent shivers up my arm, causing goosebumps to form on the surface of my skin.

"i guess you could say that." i shrugged, beginning to pull my hand away, but changbin only tightened his grip.
"let me hold your hand... please." changbin said as he stared down at our hands, refusing to look up at me.
"okay, sorry for trying to pull away." i frowned, realizing i probably upset him.
"you don't have to be strong for me felix, you can let your guard down. i want to take care of you. i never want you faking a smile around me, got it?" changbin asked me and i just nodded my head yes.
"no, say it. say you trust me enough to be real with me." changbin said, "but only if you mean it. don't lie to me."
"i do trust you, and i promise to always be real with you." i said as i leaned over and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.
i began to slightly shiver from the decreasing temperature and the increasing rain pour. changbin could feel this from my hand in his and immediately pulled away from me.
"you're cold." he said with a saddened expression.
"slowing down solves nothing, lets go." i said with a smile as i grabbed his hand and began running in the direction of my house.
we both were laughing as we felt the rain trickle down our skin, soaking our clothing, and dampening our hair. my house wasn't too far and we quickly ran inside once we got to it.
"i'll get us some towels." i said as i ran to the bathroom and grabbed two, one for me, and one for changbin.
"thanks bokkie." changbin smiled at me as he dried his hair to start.
"it's my pleasure," i smiled shyly at him, "come with me."

i reached my hand out and he immediately grabbed on, and i walked him towards my bedroom, leaving a trail of footprints behind us.
"pick out some dry clothes." i told him as i gestured towards my closet.
"uh-- n-no i'm okay. don't worry about me." he stated as he declined my offer.
"fine, i'll choose." i shrugged as i began searching through my closet for an outfit that changbin could wear. i found some black sweatpants and a gray t-shirt and figured that would suffice since he didn't want to choose for himself.
"go put this on, i'll change while you do." i told him, and before he could refuse, i shoved him out of my room.
"bokkie, are you done changing?" he knocked on my door once he had finished up.
"yeah," i stated as i began opening the door, allowing him to stumble in. had i known he was leaning on the door, i wouldn't have opened it.
we both crashed to the floor, his body falling right on top of mine.
"bokkie, i'm so sorry, are you okay?" changbin asked as he lifted his body weight off of me, but didn't completely get up.
"i'm fine binnie, no worries." i assured him with a smile.
i watched as he gaze traveled down from my eyes and slowly down towards my lips. i allowed my eyes to do the same, before sneaking my hands behind his neck.
his face slowly got closer to mine, the tension in the room being both intoxicating and suffocating.
i became to impatient on waiting for his lips to meet mine, i pulled him down and collided our lips together. it was our first kiss, but i didn't mind that it was happening on the floor of my bedroom.
i could feel changbin smiling into the kiss with each moment passing. neither one of us wanted to pull away, the electricity igniting between us was far too invigorating, but we both knew we had to.
"damn... i'm going to fall in love with you, aren't i?" changbin asked me as a smile was plastered on his face.
"i hope so." i responded, an equally bright smile forming on my face as well.
