it was now after school, hyunjin had done his best to avoid changbin until he could speak to felix.

hyunjin rushed over to the boys locker before felix could get the chance to leave for the day.

"felix!" hyunjin called out, startling the latter.

"oh... hey hyunjin." felix said weakly as he collected his things.

"can we talk?" hyunjin asked.

"we are right now." felix put a smile on to pretend the days earlier events didn't hurt him.

"right... well i wanted to talk to you about what happened at lunch," hyunjin began to explain, "i had no idea changbin likes me, im really sorry i've been so oblivious."

changbin must have confirmed it... this means changbin does like hyunjin... this means he must've liked hyunjin.

"felix, are you okay?" hyunin asked as he saw the look of terror form on felixs face.

"sorry, i was thinking about my grandma, her nurse will be leaving soon so i have to get home." felix explained, completely lying to hyunjin

"oh, im sorry to keep you." hyunjin sighed.

"listen hyunjin, if you like binnie, then go for it! you don't need my permission, i just want you both to be happy!" felix smiled at the latter.

"but what about you felix? wont that hurt you?" hyunjin questioned, not realizing what this made felix think.

ah... so he does like changbin...

"im fine! i'm getting over changbin and i know you make him happy. all i ever want for him is to be happy. please take good care of him." and before hyunjin could respond, felix ran over to chan begging the boy to drive him gome.

chan nodded, quickly grabbing his things and ran out the school doors hand in hand with felix.

"fuck..." changbin muttered as he watched felix and chan run by him.

"i bet you're really regretting that breakup now." minho said with a snarky tone.

"what? no... i like hyunjin now." changbin stated, not caring about who knew or heard.

"no you dont changbin, i can tell you dont. when you're ready to admit you're wrong and apologize to felix, i'll be there for you and i will be willing to help you... but until then, im going to root for felixs happiness and if that's with chan then so be it.

you really just need to get over yourself. you think you're entitled to felix because you dated him first, but you also broke him first. you aren't entitled to anything.

i hope felix and chan date just so you can realize what you lost!" minho had enough of hearing changbin's complaints, he just had to speak his mind.

changbin stood there speechless, knowing minho was right... it hurt.

"changbin," hyunjin then called out.

"go tend to your little boy toy, will ya?" minho rolled his eyes as he let out a slight scoff. he then walked out of the building with jisung who just gave him a disappointed look.

jisung hated conflict, he preferred to stay out of the drama... but he knew minho was right.

"yeah hyunjin?" changbin responded.

"so you... you actually like me?" hyunjin questioned nervously.

"we've been over this already, im not trying to have you run away again." changbin shook his head as he grabbed the rest of his things from his locker.

"b-but.." hyunjin tried to think of something to say, but he had nothing.

"what hyunjin? you don't have to like me back, it's fine." changbin was actually counting on hyunjin not liking him back.

"b-but i w-want to." hyunjin stuttered out, "i wish i could... you know? i want to make you happy..."

"you can't force feelings hyunjin, just leave it alone. i'll get over you." changbin claimed, but hyunjin just felt digs at his heart.

"im sorry binnie..." changbin heard the nickname and instantly cringed. only felix called him binnie.

"it's ok." and with that changbin left the building, not wanting to speak of his feelings for hyunjin any longer.
