You where sitting at home while reading a book next to the fire.It was a cold winter in 1945. After the war , you got the odd letter from one of the boys from easy company.You missed them like hell and wished you could see them again.You had fallen in love with one of the boys from easy and it hurt your heart when you said what you thought was your last goodbye to him. You had fallen in love with Donald malarkey.you missed him to much it hurt sometimes.

During the war , your boyfriend of 3 years had left you which broke you heart because you thought he was the one. When it had happened, Donald had helped you through it the most.He was always there for you.You owed him your thanks but you felt like you owed him more but he had reassured you that you didn't owe him anything.

As you where reading , you heard a knock at the door.You put your book down and went to the door to see who it was.You opened the door to see Donald malarkey standing there."D-Donald?! " you say shocked."Hey y/n " he said smiling.You hugged him almost to death.He hugged you back so tight."I missed you so much" he said."I missed you too" You say smiling.

You and Donald had been talking for the past hour.You forgot how nice his presents was.The next thing you knew he was leaning and was about to kiss you.you then leaned in and met him in the middle.Your lips moved so softly together you thought you where dreaming.He pulled you in closer and then placed his hand on your cheek."You don't know how long I've waited to do that for" Donald whispered."I've waited so long for that too"you whisper back.He pulled you into his lap while kissing your lips then down your neck ever so softly."Your so beautiful" he whispered in your ear sending shivers down your spine.

You woke up the next morning with Donald's arms wrapped around your waist.His body was lovely and warm.You really loved him and he really loved you.You carefully turned around and kissed his forehead softly.You looked at the clock and it read 8' o clock. It was still early so you fell back asleep for another hour before waking up to Donald kissing your forehead untill you where awake.This is all you and Donald had ever wanted.
