《MOAS ; Coming Home》Devils You Know

After S.H.E.I.L.D. managed to recruit Alisha Whitely, a red head whom can duplicate herself from the Afterlife, Coulson is on a Quinjet in the air with her as she sends a clone into an apartment where two other Inhuman's live and to try and recruit them as myself, Skye and Mack are in a truck outside of the building for back up with myself in the drivers seat, Mack in the passenger seat and Skye in the back.

"Lyra, Skye, Mack, move in now!" Coulson tells us over coms "Something's attacking! Alisha's down!" He tells us.

We then all climb out of the car before rushing into the building with our guns at the ready, and we head to the apartment and the door is already open so we slowly walk in the apartment to see Alisha's clone dead with an extracted hole in her stomach, and it's the same with a boy and a girl near her.

"No." Skye sighs as she crouches down beside Elisha's clone, and I look to the right wall of the room to see a burned hole in the wall.

"Sir, we've got three dead. We're gonna need backup. Looks like the killer's on the-" Mack cuts himself off as he talks to Coulson over his com as I run through the hole in the wall to go after the killer.

"Lyra!" Skye shouts after me, but I ignore her.

After tracking the monster to an Industrial park about south half a mile from the apartment with Skye and Mack, we head down into the pitch black Industrial park with our guns at the ready with our flashlights to see.

"Lyra, what's your location?-Lyra, do you copy?" Coulson comes in over our coms in static.

"You're cutting in and out, sir. We've trailed the killer to the industrial park a half a mile South of you. Backup would be nice." I explain to him.

"On its way. Hold tight." Coulson tells us.

"Copy that." I tell him.

"How did I let you talk me into this? I had a garage, workbench full of new tools, my own espresso machine." Mack explains as we walk through the hallways.

"We got to figure out how this thing is finding Inhumans and why it's killing them." I tell him.

"I know why." Mack tells me.

"Yeah? Why?" Skye asks him.

"Instinct. It's like a great white shark, built to eat, sleep-" Macm tries to say, but I cut him off.

"-And kill." I state.

"I was gonna say 'make little baby sharks', but then 'Jaws' was probably 20 years before you were born, so..." Mac trails off as we hear a door squeak closed in the distance.

"Do we have movement?" Skye asks me as we stop walking.

"I don't know. I can't see a damn thing." I tell her.

"I'm taking point, stay here." I tell them before I turn invisible before I head down the dark hallway, and I turn left before seeing two metal double doors "It's clear." I become un-invisible, and they both walk over to me.

"Oh, it's got to be long gone. I mean, something that big can't just slip away without-" Mack cuts himself off when we hear the door lock... Or maybe unlock "-Damn it. I had to jinx it, didn't I?" He asks us.

"Sounds like something's trying to get out." Skye says as we hear thuds on the other side of the doors.

"Or in." I state "Come on." I tell them before we walk over to the double doors "Three... Two..." I whisper before I swing the doors open, only to be met with a bunch of armed men with flashlight.

"Put the weapons down! Get down!" The men shout before I fire at the floor in front of them whilst allowing my power flow through the bullets, sending them all flying backwards a few feet.

"Stand down! Everybody, stand down!" We hear a woman's voice, and a woman emerges from behind the men, Price "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s not the enemy, and you definitely don't want to piss off the young Agent Johnson's here. We've got about 19 Agent Johnsons on our side, though none that can take down a building. Rosalind Price, by the way." She explains before Coulson appears from behind her, and he walks over to us as we all slowly lower our weapons.

"Coulson?" I ask him confused.

"It's okay. The ATCU is here to help." Coulson assures us.

"Really? 'Cause, the other day, you wanted my head for your trophy case." I spit at Price.

"Bit of an exaggeration. But that was then, and this is now. And right now, we're here to contain a threat, same as you. Fan out!" Price calls, and her men stand up before infiltrating the building along with herself..

"I get that you cut a deal with them, but for the record-" I try to say, but Coulson cuts me off.

"-It's a means to an end." Coulson tells me.

"Ours or theirs?" Skye asks him.

After Morse ran the DNA sample from the apartment in the lab, she had found out that is was an Inhuman, and right now myself, Skye and Morse have just walked into Coulson's office to deliver the news as Morse carries the results on a piece of paper in her right hand and I carry an electronic tablet in my right hand.

"The DNA results came in. They confirm the killer is an Inhuman. He's killing his own kind." Morse hands Coulson the results on a piece of paper as he stands behind his desk.

"I don't get it. If he knows what it's like, what we go through, I just... I refuse to believe Mack's 'great white shark' theory. He's not some mindless wrecking machine." Skye explains to us.

"Agreed. The killer's tracking its prey. The question is how." Coulson says to us.

"Alisha knew these people. They were friends of hers before the Outbreak. Maybe the killer was, too." Morse explains.

"It's possible, but before Alisha was attacked, the couple mentioned that they got some weird e-mail, right?" I ask them before I pull up the e-mail using the electronic tablet I am holding onto the wall computer, and it shows a virus "Well, that e-mail had a nasty virus attached to it. It chewed up the operating system like a blender. Skye was able to un-mangle it, and it looks like the virus was planted to track their location." I explains to them.

"Do we know of any other Inhuman's who got this e-mail?" Coulson asks us.

"Joey Gutierrez didn't. We checked. But the others... I don't know. It's not like we have a ton of candidates to work with." Skye admits.

"Reach out to the ATCU. Let them know what you found." Coulson tells us.

"Taking this team-spirit thing a little far, aren't we?" I ask him.

"Fitz and I grabbed that laptop before they got there. Why would we share this intel?" Morse asks Coulson confused.

"We know the ATCU has found Inhuman's in the past, confiscated all their belongings. Let's see if they've come across this virus before." Coulson explains.

"If we share with them, what do we get in return?" I ask him.

"What do you want?" Coulson asks me.

"I don't know. Let's start with how many Inhuman's they've come across, where they take them, and perhaps Lincoln's freedom?" I ask him.

"Lyra has a good point, sir. We don't know nearly enough about them." Morse agrees with me.

"I agree, but if you want answers, then you gotta play ball. Share the intel, trace the virus to its source." Coulson tells us before myself, Skye and Morse hesitantly walk away.

After Skye tracked the virus back to a ex-Internet Technician whom has been silent for about three weeks now and he may be an Inhuman and/ or helping our killer Inhuman. Myself, Skye and Mack then gathered a flight team before Coulson joined us on the ride to Mr. Frye's apartment, and after Mack pulls up in a van beside the apartment, and we all climb out to see Price, her bodyguard Luther Banks and multiple agents surrounding the area.

"Look who's here." I sigh as we walk over to them.

"Coulson." Price greets Coulson as we stand beside them.

"Ms. Price. See? Called you first this time." Coulson says to her.

"Very nice of you." Price states.

"Signs of life inside?" Coulson asks her.

"All quiet. Perimeter's locked up." Banks states.

"Once the threat's contained, our holding facility is prepped to take him." Price explains.

"I'd like to see that sometime, make sure you're not going all Guantã¡namo." I tell her.

"Oh, well, that can be arranged, as long as I can get something in return, like a visit to your secret base or maybe a ride on that fancy new plane?" Price suggests.

"You know that door won't open itself, right?" Mack looks to myself and Skye.

"Want to do the honors?" I ask her, and she raises her right hand up to the door of the apartment before shattering the lock with her powers, and Mack and Banks head in first with their guns at the ready.

Myself and Skye then go in after them, and lead in front. Myself and Skye then search the ground floor, and we come across a closed door, so I hesitantly swing it open before I lead us in, and we see a large computer system set up with an Inhuman cocoon crumbled beside it. We then hear something drop from a nearby closet, and we turn our guns to aim there. I then kick the door open with my right foot before we see a man, Dwight Frye, huddled on the ground panicking under some hanging clothes.

"Hey. Hey. It's okay. We're not here to hurt you." I tell him as both myself and Skye lower our guns and crouch down to his level, and he whispers "What? We... We can't hear you. What did you say?" I ask him confused, and he looks up at us as a rash begins to quickly form across his face.

"Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out!! Get out!" Frye shouts at us with rage and panic, so I force a barrier towards him with my left hand sending him flying backwards against the back of the closet.

"Lyra, Skye, you all right?" Mack rushes in with Banks and other agents as we both stand up.

"Yeah. But he's not." Skye tells Mack.

"Mr. Frye, come out and say 'hello'." Banks grabs Frye's ankle and pulls him out of the closet, and he writhers in pain on the floor as the rashes spread on his face, and Coulson and Price walk in.

"How hard did you hit him?" Coulson asks me confused.

"Not that hard." I admit.

"So what's wrong with him?" Price asks confused.

"I don't know, but I don't think he's our guy." I admit.

"They're killing me. Get them out of here." Frye crawls up and against a wall as he looks at myself and Skye.

"He's having some kind of reaction to our special friends here." Banks looks to Skye and myself.

"You think?" Mack asks Banks incredulously.

"If we want answers, might help if they're not here. Just a thought." Price suggests, and Coulson hesitantly nods at myself and Skye, and we nod back before we leave the apartment and wait outside of the living room.

As Price and Coulson talk to Frye myself, Skye and Mack sneak outside of the living room to hear their conversation.

"... Divine inspiration. You guys don't get it. You should be helping him, not hunting him." Frye tells them.

"Help him kill people... 'Cause, sure, that makes sense." Coulson says sarcastically.

"Do you think he likes doing what he's doing? He doesn't. Ever since I turned, I feel like my skin is on fire and there's a jackhammer in my head. I wake up thinking that the pain will go away... But it doesn't. The only thing that helps is when Lash does his thing... Sends us freaks back to where we belong. I didn't want this. And I know I'm not the only one." Frye explains, and I look to Skye to see she is looking uncomfortable. I then take my right hand in her left hand before I lead us both outside the apartment.

After Coulson and Price finished interrogating Frye, Coulson and Price had decided to let the ATCU take Frye with them, and right now Coulson, myself, Skye and Mack are standing outside of the apartment as Banks takes him into the back of one of their vans.

"Andrew could help him. There's no way the ATCU has anyone on their staff with his experience." Skye explains to Coulson.

"And where are they taking him? Do we even know?" Mack asks Coulson.

"We can't just give them free rein like this. We can't just look away." I tell Coulson.

"Mack, you accompany them. Check out the containment facility. Gather whatever intel you can. Report back to me." Coulson tells Mac.

"I should be on that truck, too, Coulson." I tell him.

"We got a major H.Y.D.R.A. operation unfolding. I may need you." Coulson tells me.

"Not as much as Frye needs me." I tell him.

"Look, I don't like it, Lyra. You were in their cross hairs just the other day." Skye says to me.

"Yeah, and look how that worked out." I tell her.

"We're ready to roll." Price tells Coulson as she walks out of the apartment.

"Not quite yet. How heavily sedated is Frye?" Coulson asks Price.

"On a scale of 1 to 10, about a 6. No one likes a drooler. Why?" Price asks Coulson confused.

"I need you to squeeze two more onto that truck." Coulson tells her.

"That's not what we agreed on." Price disagrees.

"Sharing is a two-way street. We invited you to the party. Now we need to know what you're doing with the guests. Come on, Rosalind. Fair is fair." Coulson tells her.

"... Just give me a minute." Price says before she walks over to Banks and has a quiet conversation before turning to us "All right. Hop on board." She tells us, and we see Banks and a few other agents leaving the scene before myself and Mack hop into the back of the van with Frye and two of Price's agents.

After we parted ways with Coulson, it feels as if we've been driving for hours as I sit beside Mack and across from Frye whom is sitting between two agents.

"I feel like we're driving in circles." I admit to Mack as Frye breathes difficulty.

"I bet we are. Probably buying time for Mr. Banks to clean up their facility." Mack explains "Didn't you catch how fast he left the scene?" He asks me.

"Yeah, so he could get rid of anything Price doesn't want us to see." I say to him.

"Yeah, that, or he's prepping a cell for you." Mack says to me.

"It's his funeral." I scoff before I glance to Frye "I feel like his meds are wearing off." I say to Mack confused just before something hits the top of the van.

Suddenly, a whole burns through the roof of the van, and Lash jumps through it making myself and Mack stand up. One of the agents then goes for Lash, but he gets thrown aside, knocked unconscious, and the other agent goes to take out his gun, but Lash shoves him on top of me, but the agent breaks my fall and he renders unconscious, too. Mack then left hooks Lash in the upper chest, but has no effect, so Mack goes to right hook him but Lash suddenly throws Mack against a wall of the van.

I then take out my gun from my right holster and fire, also alowing my power to flow through the bullets at Lash as Lash shoots something out of his right hand at me, and I feel a shooting pain in my right side as the van flips and I drop my gun and I slowly fade unconscious.

I then slowly regain consciousness, and I look up out of the hole in the roof of the van to see Frye dead, and as Lash walks away I just catch his shadow as he twitches before his shadow turns into a human shadow.

After being taken to a local E.R. by the ATCU and Mack had been treated, I stand in a small treatment room with a curtain blocking the room from the rest of the hospital as Mack lays unconscious on the hospital bed with his left arm in a sling and a cut on his right forehead. And I sit on the foot of the bed waiting for him to wake up as I keep my right hand on my the right side of my abdomen and use my powers to stop the bleeding wound and make it appear invisible.

"What the hell happened?" Mack stirs awake.

"The ATCU brought us all to a local E.R. to get checked out. You got a concussion, separated your shoulder." I explain to him as he slowly sits up.

"Everyone else make it?" Mack asks me.

"Not Frye. Lash killed him." I state.

"Lucky he didn't kill you, too." Mack tells me as he takes his sling off.

"Yeah. Lucky." I sigh lightly.

"Lyra, you holding something back?" Mack asks me confused.

"I... I saw something. And I'm not sure, but I don't think Lash is just some great white shark. I think he can shift into a person." I explain in a hush tone.
