Mom turned around then left me alone inside of my room, a tears kept falling to my cheek as I couldn't breath. I needed a fresh air and some time alone, i was pretty sure i still remember this place so i walked out from my room then sneaked out of the house to get a fresh air.

The wind was blowing the temperature outside was pretty cold but i also felt so free like a bird that could spread it wings. I ended up sitting on one of the bench in front of the lake while looking up to the dark blue sky that had so many sprinkles of stars.

I remembered that Mom, dad, Gabriel and i used to made a bonfire at night. Mom used to brought a lot of marshmallows for Gabriel and i cause we loved to burnt it.

Talking about mom, what does she meant by my heart wasn't home yet. My heart was right inside of my body and I didn't know it was just me or mom was overacting because she was getting old.

I stared at the sky until i heard a few steps which surprised me but then made my heart warm, i saw Jacob was running into me with a blanket on his arm. This little dude was going to be a sweet guy when he gets older, I wondered what a lucky girl to have him.

"Hey j" i greet him as his light brown hair was falling in front of his forehead.

"What are you doing here Lana?" He asked me.

"How do you know that I'm here?" I asked him as he began to seat next to me.

I wrapped the blanket around both of us so he could stay warm even the wind was blowing and it was pretty cold outside.

"I saw you crying then ran away" he said while sitting next to me.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

He was only 7 but i felt like i had a best friend that i could trust,

"It's just an adult problem Jai" i said.

He stayed in a silent while still sitting next to me, i hope i could tell him everything but I wasn't going to ruin his childhood by telling him about my personal problem.

"Everyone has their own problem Lana" he said like an adult even if his voice still sounded like a little person.

"Oh do you have a problem?" I asked him then he just nodded.

"Oh what is it?" I asked him while turned my head to face him.

"I'll tell you if you promise me to tell yours" he said with her big blue eyes staring back at mine.

"Okay.., i promise" i said then we did the pinky swear by intertwining our pinkies.

"So, i think I'm going to be a big brother" he said and it made me gasp.

Oh my god he just spoiled the surprised, and it surprised me a lot. Since both of gabriel and Laura hadn't told us anything.

"How do you know?" I asked him.

"I hear they were talking about it mom is so happy so is dad." He said but he looked unhappy.

"So how's your feeling?" I asked him.

"Happy but not so happy" he said.

"Why?" I asked him.

"I'm scared they're going to focus on the baby and leave me" he said and i smile.

Was this how gabriel felt when he found out that our parents were expecting me?, actually the age gap between gabriel and i with his new unborn baby was kinda the same.

"No Jai that isn't going to happen, having a sibling means you have a person or so called a friend who's going to love and support you for the rest of your life just like your Father and I." I said to him.

"So are you and dad telling each other stories?" He asked me.

"Yeah we used to play together when we were a child, he's a big brother to me so i always feel his appearance to protect me, that's big brother duty"

"And i used to support and watched him playing football back in school" i continued.

"What if it's a boy?" He asked.

"If it is a girl she's going to be a supporter of your life you have to protect her then if it is a boy you're lucky too cause he's going to be the first person to help you get up when you fall while you're playing football on the field" i said.

"That sounds cool" he said.

"I promise I'm going to stay here whenever you need me." I said to him then pulled him closer into a hug.

"Can you promise me that?" He asked.

"But you'll be back next week" He said and there's a silent between us.

"I promise and i'll try my best to stay here with you" i said to him which made him pulled me into a hug.

Hugging him felt like hugging a little angel which so innocent and much more like hugging a piece of green bean. He was so small.

"Okay now your turn, what is your problem?" He asked me.

"I" i said.

"I actually made a mistake which makes grandma mad at me" i said to him.

"What mistakes?" He asked me.

"She said I've changed, and she doesn't like the way I changed." I try to explain to him.

"Your not changing, you're still the Best Auntie i know" he said and he made me smile.

He was the only person who could understand me in this family maybe after Laura, I hadn't talked to her. But i knew i could trust him and i promise i was going to stay by his side.

"I wish i can turn back time to be a little child again" i said hugging him while looking at the sky.

Jacob only stayed in a silent, we stayed like this until i felt it was getting cold so we got inside and going to sleep.

I woke up in the morning and decided to talk to Laura about my problem, since my mom and her friends were staying up all night that made the house had no sound in the morning. Everyone were probably still sleeping right now, but i knew Laura she always be the first person to wake up in the morning.

I walked into their room and found the door was half opened, revealed gabriel who was sleeping next to his son, Jacob. Both of them were looking look alike when they were asleep like that. I didn't want to wake them up so i walked downstairs and made my way to the kitchen, i wanted to have a tea to brush my dry throat in the morning.

I surprisingly found Apollo was awake and he was pouring a tea to a cup, his head was looking up at me. His blue eyes met mine, i looked away and trying to act normal cause I didn't want to start a fight early in the morning, I didn't want to ruin my morning.

"Morning" his raspy voice suddenly greet me.

"Morning" i said trying to find a cup but ended up with him giving me a cup of a hot tea.

I took a seat on one of the chair pretty far from where he was sitting, his messy morning hair made me lost for a moment but i stopped myself from drowning in those blue eyes.

"I'm sorry for yesterday" he said broking the silent.

I stayed in a silent while he was drinking the hot tea from the cup on my hand,

"I heard that you're grounded because of me" he said.

"That's okay just forget it" i said.

"How do you know I'm grounded?" I also asked him.

"Jacob told me" he said and it made my lips cracked in a smile.

"What"

"So you asked him?" I asked him.

"No" he tried to hide the fact that he was actually asked him.

"Okay i was worried so i sent him to give you a blanket" he said and i felt a weird feeling on my tummy.

"Asking a 7 years old boy at night?" I asked him.

"I can only told him, everyone in the house are older than me so he's the only person" he said.

"Thank you" i said.

"I know my appearance here isn't comfortable for you but don't worry i'll leave tonight i have a work tomorrow." He said but that words didn't makes me feel better, i stayed in a silent while didn't know how to respond.

"Okay then, do you see Laura?" I asked him while started to get up from the seat, didn't want the situation to get more awkward.

"She's probably in the farm house now she walked out a few minutes ago" he said.

"Okay" i said turning around and ready to leave but he called my name which made me stopped walking.

"I'm sorry for everything, I'm just happy to see you again" he said.

I let out a breath with our eyes were still connecting to one another, i felt bad for avoiding him after he asked for an apology since it had been a few years ago. I shouldn't act childish like this.

"I'm sorry for acting childish, I'm happy to see you too" i said before leaving him alone at the kitchen.

I walked out of the house straight to the farmhouse until i met Laura was trying to get an egg from the chicken, i screamed when i saw so many roosters and a chick inside.

"For god sake Lana you scared me!" Laura said holding on her chest.

"I'm sorry I didn't know there's so many roosters and chicken here" i said to her.

" oh no no no Lana you forgot to close the door!" Laura said pointing the door that went open because of me which made all of the chicken ran out of the farmhouse.

"Nooo!" I said trying to catch it one by one with Laura following me.

"Oh no! Chicken come back!" Laura said.

"Nooo don't run you're pregnant you stay still i'll asked for a help" i said while trying to not stepping in the yellow small chick on the ground.

"How do you know?" She asked like she was surprised.

"Oops i think Jacob accidentally told me" i said while i was running into the house to asked for Apollo's help.

He was drinking the tea while looking at his phone when i walked in with a tired face,

"Help!! Laura is pregnant we cannot chase all the chicken by ourselves" i said to him and told him to follow him.

"What"

"Chicken?"

"What have you guys done?" He asked me while we were running outside and found so many chicken were already filling the front field.

Apollo and i ran and trying to pick the chicken back into the farm house one by one but it turned out the chicken started to flapping its wings which made me and Laura screamed.

I laughed because it was so funny how all the chickens were on the field just because i forgot to close the farmhouse door.

I thought both of our laughs and scream waking up Gabriel and Jacob who was running out of the house with just a sweatpants. Jacob smiles once he saw so many chickens were flying around the fields.

"Oh my god help!" I said the they began to chase the chicken.

Apollo grabbing laura's basket to put the yellow chick into it so it made it a lot easier, i could see a smile painted on everyone's face since there were so many type of chickens in the field started with roosters, hens, and chicks.

I could see Jacob looked so excited to pick up the roosters with both of his hands while running into the farmhouse. Laura was just smiling while recording the situation with her phone, I couldn't hold my laugh that was so funny.

"Get it Jai get it jai" i said behind him while carrying a chicken on both of my hands.

"I'm running L" he said.

"What did you just call me?" I asked him.

"L!!" He said and we laughed.

After a few minutes chasing the chicken around the field, we were successfully putting all the chicken back inside of the house. And successfully waking up the whole house, but i could see mom was smiling at us.

I felt so sweaty my shirt was sweaty i felt so tired after chasing all of those chicken, and i felt bad to make them had to chase the chicken just because of my clumsiness.

"What a good way to wake up in the morning" gabriel said while trying to catch his breath.

Both of Gabriel and Jacob were only wearing a gray sweatpants while chasing the chickens, cause they just woke up.

"It was fun let's do it again!" Jacob said which made Gabriel smiles.

"Nice work out guys" Mom said from the front porch.

I saw Apollo was standing barefoot and sweating he was also trying to catch his breath after this early in the morning family work out.

"When are you going to tell everyone?" I whispered to Laura.

"It supposed to be after mom blowed the candle" she said.

"So it's true?" I asked her.

"Yeah" she said and i started to hug her.

"I'm so happy for you" i said.

"Thank you sweetheart" she said.
