"Okay. Gracie, go with Harry and make sure he gets out alright!" I shot my head up to look at my Mum, Natalyn and I had been in the middle of the conversation so I had to make sure I knew what she said.
"Go with Harry?" She nodded at me. "Okay!" I shrugged my shoulders and stepped towards the fireplace. "Coming?" He walked over with out a word and stood beside me. "Do you want to do it or should I?"
"I'll give it a go!" He took a handful of floo powder threw it down and yell 'die-again-alley'.
"What wait no! Oh crap!" We started spinning and all that jazz, and then we were thrown on the floor of a shop called Borgin and Burkes. The Malfoy's were in here, but I don't care. I see the exit and I'm going for it.
"Harry! Come on!" I pulled on his arm but he was looking at something I had just seen Malfoy look at. Eugh, my cousin. Blech. I pulled again and this time he came. Once we were outside of the store, I knew where we were, but I didn't know how to get back. "Harry, the is Knockturn Alley!" I whispered, shrinking back into the shadows.
"Stay behind me!" He pushed me behind him and started walking, normally I would argue this, but right now, I'd probably be here anyway. A bunch of people crowded around us. Some said things like 'pretty little girl' and reached out to touch me, but Harry stopped them. Others were more concerned with the boy who lived. Others wanted us to buy these creepy things.
"Harry? An' is that Gracie? What are you two doin' 'ere? Come here!" We ran to Hagrid quickly, he sent all those people scurrying off and then he struck up a conversation with Harry as he led us back to Diagon Alley. "Don't want people to see ya round there! They'll think your up ter no good!"
"Hagrid, if you don't mind my asking. What were you doing in Knockturn Alley?" Harry looked up at him with interest, apparently he was just as interested in my question as I was.
"Oh I was looking for some Flesh Eating Slug Repellent!" He held up the jug and gave me a small smile. I returned it quickly. "Here we are!" Hermione was standing outside a shop, standing on her tip toes, probably looking for us. As soon as she saw us, she came running and gave me a hug. I then realized that I was still very close to Harry and still hiding, though I don't know what from.
"Everyone's been waiting for you! Gilderoy Lockhart's going to autograph everyone's books! Oh Harry! What happened to your glasses? Oculas Reparo!" I watched as she fixed his glasses instantly.
"Thanks Hermione!"
"Your welcome! Now come on!" She grabbed Harry's arm and took off, Harry responded by grabbing my hand and pulling me into the book store with him.
"Bye Hagrid!" I waved over my shoulder, he waved back with a small laugh and then turned to be on his way. Sighing, we entered the shop, which was a complete madhouse! Hermione let go of Harry's hand once we reached the Weasley's, but he never let go of mine. A reporter with a flashing camera danced around, trying to get a picture of Lockhart. He shoved Ginny and I, so I reacted how any normal person would. I elbowed him, shoving him back, but then hid behind Harry when he stopped.

"Blimey! Your Harry Potter!" He grabbed Harry's hand to drag him up front, but when he got my added weight due to our entwined hands, he stopped short again. "Are you the girlfriend?" I opened my mouth to speak but didn't get a chance. "Get up there!" He shoved us in front with Gilderoy who grabbed Harry in a one arm hug. I hid behind Harry again, I hate having my picture taken unless I want it taken, and right now, I don't want it taken!
Harry placed and arm over my shoulder and I turned into his side, just barely showing my face and smiling slightly. "Nice big smile Harry! Together you and I will make the front page! Your girlfriend is good for publicity as well!" The cameras flashed numerous times, then Lockhart released Harry, who kept me tucked safe behind him. "Ladies and gents! May I have your attention please?" Everything got really quiet. "When young Mr. Potter entered Flourish and Blotts today, he had every intention of buying my complete works for his school year at Hogwarts. Little did he know, he'd be leaving with all of them, signed, and completely free of charge! And not only will he have my autobiography, Magical Me, he and his schoolmates will have the real, magical me. Yes, in the fall I will be taking up post as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher!" He handed Harry a big stack of books and the cameras flashed again and again.
"Want some help?" I whispered, stepping closer to him. He nodded and handed me half the books. We shared a smile and I heard the cameras clicking again.
"Lets get out of here!" He whispered, looking at the camera man. I nodded again, still smiling but looking down. We walked up to the Weasley's where Mum was standing, all flustered and such.
"Here! Just give me those and I'll get them signed for you!" She took the books from the two of us, but Harry turned to Ginny.
"You can have those! I'll buy my own, I don't care if they're signed. She nodded happily and turned to try to get another glimpse of Lockhart. "Want to get out of here?" He was looking at me again, so I nodded quickly. I hate small spaces, I'm kind of claustrophobic. "You lot coming?"
"Hell yeah!" Natalyn stepped out, taking her place by my side. Ron came out muttering something about getting away from Lockhart, and Hermione just came with us. Her face was flushed and she kept glancing back at Lockhart. Lockhart Lockhart Lockhart. No wonder his ego is so big!
"Bet you loved that, didn't you Potter? And my dear cousins!" Malfoy jumped down in front of us, blocking the path. "Famous Harry Potter, can't even go into a book shop with out making the front page, can you Potter?"
"Oh shut it Draco! Your just jealous and you know it!" Natty pushed past me to get in Malfoy's face.
"Potter! you've got yourself a girlfriend! What a disgrace to the Malfoy family!" He sneered, pointing at me
"Good thing my names not Malfoy them, isn't it?" I gave him a sickly sweet smile, hoping he'd back off. Ron and Hermione battled through to the front. "Oh. It's you!" Ron looked at Malfoy like he was the most disgusting thing on the planet, so I laughed. Then he made a comment about the Weasley's that had me all riled up. Ron and I both started marching towards Malfoy, but Harry and Hermione grabbed onto Ron. Nat and Ginny made no move to stop me.

"Why I oughtta!" I drew my fist back, Ron was cheering in the background, but I ignored him. I went to throw the punch when Mr. Weasley stopped me.
"Gracie? What are you doing?" He asked, coming over with Fred and George behind him. "What are you doing? It's too crowded in here, lets go outside!"
"Well well well, Arthur Weasley." Malfoy senior walked up, placing a hand on Draco's shoulder, god. At least I know where Malfoy got that ugly rat faced smirk! He turned to look us over. "Ah! My dear cousins! Natalyn, and Gracelyn. Rhyming names, how original!" He sneered, looking between the two of us. We folded our arms simultaneously and glared at him.
"Lucius," Mr. Weasley spoke in a monotone voice that scared even me. He looked at Harry, who was now squeezing my hand rather tightly, and it kind of hurt.
"And of course, Harry Potter!" He grabbed Harry and pulled him to him, lifting his bangs and examining the scar on his forehead.
"Forgive me, but it is, of course, legendary. As was the wizard who gave it." He let go of Harry, who stumbled backwards a step.
"Voldemort was nothing but a murderer!" Uh oh. I have a feeling this isn't going to end well!
"Quite brave aren't we? To say the name that is! He looked at Ginny and took a book out of her cauldron. "No need to ask who you are. Red hair, vacant expressions, tatty, second hand books. You must be the Weasley children!"
"I suggest you shut your mouth, cousin!" I sneered, going to stand beside Natalyn. I really hate the Malfoy's!
"Protective are we? Never mind. Come along Draco!" He swished his robes and left the shop. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, huffing in annoyance.
"Twit!"
"Now Gracie, no need to sink to their level! Lets go find the rest of your things. We'll split into groups. Fred and George. You five, and your mother and I will take Ginny." He placed a hand in my shoulder, looking between us.
"What no! Please Dad!" Ginny's eyes widened in horror and she turned to look at me. "Please Gracie! Let me go with you! Please sissy! I promise I'll do whatever you say! For Merlin's sake, I'll walk behind you if you want! Please don't make me go alone! How embarrassing!" She shuddered, but latched onto my arm all the same. I rolled my eyes again, laughing at the pleas. I ruffled her hair with a smile.
"Of course you can. Do you really think I'd make you walk behind us?" I asked, still laughing at her. Natalyn laughed too, as well as Hermione.
"Really Gin? That's how you think of us?" Nat teased, hugging Ginny with one arm. She rolled her eyes but hugged my waist tightly.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" She squeezed tightly one more time and I stumbled over backwards, laughing. Once we were a safe distance away from our parents, I started skipping around laughing. Being the clutz I am, I fell. There was a loud 'crack' from my back pocket, where I keep my wand. I pulled it out and sure enough, it was broken.
"Crap!" I groaned, looking around at everyone. Natalyn burst into a fit of laughter, nearly rolling on the ground, Ron and Harry were stifling chuckles and Ginny was giggling furiously. Hermione was the only one not laughing, she ran over and helped me up. "Well Ginny. I say we go to Olivander's first! She nodded brightly and skipped towards the front desk.
"Well, Ms. Weasley! And the other Ms. Weasley? How may I help you?"
"Well Ginny is here for her first wand and um, I was wondering if you could repair mine. Otherwise I might need a new one," I refrained from looking him in the eye as I rocked back and forth on my heels. He tutted from behind the desk.
"I suppose it's for the best. The wand did not really fit you as well as I could. Do you the money with you?"
"Yes Mr. Ollivander. And I'd like to pay for Ginny's as well," I whispered, winking at him. I slipped him the money for both wands and he smiled at me, patting my hand.
"You've a good heart. Keep it that way! Now. Ms. Weasley," he turned to Ginny with a smile. She stepped forward sheepishly, wringing her hands together. "Ah. Lets try this one. Unicorn hair, holly, 11"." She waved it and everything went haywire. "Nope. Try this one. Veela hair, elm, 10"." This one broke stuff. "Okay, hm. Owl tail feather, oak, 10"." This one worked much better. It made the room glow. Ginny beamed brightly, looking at Ollivander for confirmation.
"That's a good wand Ms. Weasley! If you promise me you'll take good care of it, I'll give it to you on the house!" She smiled brightly, nodding her head. "Now. The other Ms. Weasley. Lets try a 12" holly, Phoenix hair, not feather, but hair. It's a very powerful wand. Similar to that of your father's!" This caught my interest.
I gave the wand a flick and I felt a powerful wind flow around the room, it tossed my hair back and I smiled brightly. I found my wand! "Wicked!" Ginny mumbled, looking at me.
"Wicked in deed Ms. Weasley. A bit of history on that wand, however similar it is to your father's wand, it is an exact replica to Lilly Evans wand. Better known as Lilly Potter!" I gasped, I spun around and because I heard the door open, and just my luck, it was Harry, Ron, Mione, and Natalyn.
"What about my mother?" He stopped, giving Mr. Ollivander and I a cold stare that had my heart stopping. His glare flew over both of us, back and forth. Ginny answered for me because I obviously wasn't speaking anytime soon.
"Her wand is an exact replica of your mum's! Isn't that cool?" I mentally face palmed, hoping that it wouldn't be weird. Luckily, upon hearing the news, his glare disappeared and he smiled at me, a genuine smile. Not a fake one.
"Yeah! That's brilliant! Can I see it?" I nodded and handed it over quickly. He examined it with a small smile on his face, then handed it back to.
"We need to go! We still have to get Ginny's robes, as well as new stationary for everyone! And we need new potions supplies!" Mione started walking towards the exit it as she spoke to us, ignoring us completely.
"Honestly Hermione how do we every forget anything with you around?" Ron asked, following her out the door.
"How bout cus no body actually listens?" Nat mumbled, following them out. Ginny left, giggling and clutching her new wand tightly. Harry turned to me with an amused smile.
"Ready?" I nodded and skipped over to him, we left the shop together. "That wand wasn't on the house, was it?" He whispered, gesturing to Ginny's wand. I stopped in my tracks.
"Don't you dare tell anyone about that Mr!" I pointed my finger at him, hoping to look like Mum. Intimidating. He laughed and held his hands up, feigning innocence.
"I wasn't planning on it. But that's really nice!" I dropped the facade and smiled at him.
"Well I guess," I shrugged, looking at my feet. I glanced up when I heard him chuckle and I saw him till his eyes.
"Come on you!" He grabbed my hand and we stayed like that the rest of our time in Diagon Alley.

What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.
