Allie
~~~
I soar behind Thorin and land beside him atop Ravenhill. I don't look at him or even acknowledge him.
Azog smiles sadistically at us from across the ice.
"Your time on this Middle Earth is all but through Azog," I state in a deep menacing voice. Thorin launches at Azog waving his sword. I hang back and watch as Azog whips out a ball and chain. Thorin manages to dodge the first swing and the second bit the third knocks him down. That's when I step in.
Using my wings to get a height advantage I launch at Azog and swing my sword. He raises his brand new shiny sword hand and blocks me. Thorin takes the distraction and swings at his leg getting one hit in before Azog'a back up minions step in.
"Go in for the kill! Finish him!" Azog orders in a loud grisly voice. With a huff I land and help Thorin with the new orcs.
My thoughts are completely strategic and tactical with all feelings of betrayal pushed away.
More and more orcs come at his appearing from behind rocks and crevices.
"These creatures never end!" Thorin grunts as he battles it out with two slimy orcs. I neglect to respond to him and instead direct my attention to Legolas coming in on a bat?
Legolas stabs his ride in the stomach and gracefully lands on a nearby tower. With amazing precision he whips out his bow and starts taking down the minions.
Legolas opens and opportunity for me to direct my attention back to Azog who's watching with a scowl.
"Nothing can save you now," I proclaim darkly and stalk towards him.
Tauriel
~~~
In the lower levels of Ravenhills ruins it's utterly quiet.
"Fili!" I call out as I search for his body. I can't hear anything that would lead me to him which isn't good. My hopes plummet when I spot a tuft of bloody blonde hair.
With my heart in my throat I dash forward to find Fili lying crumpled on the ground barely alive.

"Oh Fili," I gasp and kneel by him. With steady hands I examine his wound and try not to show the shock on my face. Fili is barely conscious but he notices my reaction.
"S'not g-good right?" he coughs out with a sad smirk. I bite my lip and shake my head. "S'okay I-I've had a-a good life."
"You still have time Fili. Is there anything you want?"
"My last request you mean?" Fili snorts and Tauriel can't help but smile through tears. Emily will be so sad without him. "I wanna see my baby brother and dear Emily again. But it's not happening is it?"
"You may not make it up the steps," Tauriel answers truthfully. "But we can try. Brace yourself this hurt." Without warning Tauriel rips his jackets and binds his stomach tightly.
"Agh!" Fili's expressions twists into pain but Tauriel does not relent. She wastes no time in standing up and lifting the dwarf to support him. It's an awkward position for her seeing as she's so tall but they manage. "This does hurt!"
"You want to see your brother and love and I intend to to make that happen," Tauriel remarks and practically carries him up the stairs. "Just keep breathing."
"It's so odd that an elf of all people is helping me fulfill my final wishes," Fili grumbles and Tauriel laughs out loud. The situation could not have been more sad but his words make her smile.

Alex
~~~
As I step up the stairs an orc comes barreling at me. I grin and grab it's wrists tightly to direct it's pathetic dagger and let it come close to my face.
"You fucked with the wrong elf," I utter with a deadly glare. The orc lets out a squeak as I heat my hands up and burn it slowly. For the final blow I knew it in the groin and shove it's body aside.
"Kili! Kili!" I shout and look around for him again. He's close I know it.
"Alex!" Kili returns from nearby. It's driving me mad that in can't see him. In anger I step out onto a ledge to look around with my good eye.
"Kil-MOTHERFUCKER!" I screech when I'm suddenly hurled into a wall. The breath is knocked right out of me and I'm suddenly being grabbed and elf up by my neck.
It's that Bolg asshole.
"Oh fuck you," I growl and digs my long nails into his arms till I draw blood. He drops my allowing me to brandish my daggers and stab him in the leg. His response is to kick me into the wall.
"Dammit," I hiss in pain as I hit the wall again. I can't shift into my Balrog form because of my exhaustion so it's just elf me. I force myself to my hands and knees ready to jump away from any blow Bolg may deal.
Just as he tried to take a chance Kili cuts his back from behind. Bolg growls loudly and whips around to fight Kili.
Kili is easily overpowered by the larger orc and Bolg grabs him by his middle and raises his weapon to stab him.
"No!" I yell as jump on his back trying to get a grip on it. His armor cuts my arms as I frantically grab. Kiki can't die, not like this.
Bolg easily throws me aside and raises his spike again.
"NO!" In one final burst of energy I grab his ankle and heat my hand as hot as I can manage. Looking up I see he barely notices and wastes no more time in stabbing Kili in the stomach.
Pain blossoms in my own stomach as I watch in tears.
"NOOOOO!" I wail and weakly dig my nails into Bolgs ankle. I was to weak to save him, to save us. Darkness edges at my vision but I force myself to stay awake. Bolg drops Kili's body to the ground and stomps away. He knows we can do nothing to stop him.
"A-Alex," Kili stammers and I use all my strength to pull myself to him.
"I'm here Kili. I'm here," I coo and weakly press ok his wound. Maybe it missed vital organs.
Suddenly an animalistic scream pierced the air and a red blur knocks Bolg off the edge of the cliff and follows with him. It's Tauriel!
"Kili!" Fili calls and I look up to see he is leaned up against a nearby rock. Tauriel must have found him!
Taking a deep breath I force myself to my feet and wobble to him.
"It's in my head," I chant to myself as I clutch my stomach. I reach Fili and help him to Kili then collapse in a heap.
"Little brother seems we both got a little banged up," Fili jokes with a watery smile. Fili chuckles and spits blood. Fili very weakly pulls Kili into his lap and breathes in his hair. "I love you Kili."
"Wha you mean Fee?" Kili asks in a small scared voice. "You're just going to sleep right?" Kili seems so small and scared like a child. In this moment I feel small and scared too.
"Yeah Kee I'm going to sleep," Fili murmurs. His voice is shaky and fading fast. He's holding Kili close as if he's trying to protect him. I watch them with tears in my eyes and say nothing.
Fili deserves a goodbye.
"But you aren't waking up again are you?"
"No Kee."
"I'm not waking up either am I?"
"Not this time Kee," Fili chokes out in tears. I feel tears roll down my cheeks and I lie next to Kili. I won't wake up either.
"Will you with me till I fall asleep?"
"Yes brother. I will."
The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
