《Fake Girlfriend || NamjoonxReader FF》Ch. 5- A Real School

First day of a real school. I honestly couldn't believe it myself. I was really going.
I was actually pretty excited. I swung backpack on my back as my mom came down the stairs.
"Aww! My baby is going to school! I wanna take a picture! But where did I put that phone-"
"Aish- Mom, I have to go."
She completely ignored me and continued looking for her phone. Why did she have to be like this?
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
Frick. I almost forgot about her.
My mom jumped up and dashed for the door.
"Oh hello Miss Yong! I'm so happy to see you!"
Ha. I don't feel the same.
She bowed to my mom, "I am very glad to see you to Mrs. Kim"
My mom moved her focus to me.
"Come on Namjoon, she's here now so you can leave"
I sighed and stepped up until I was standing beside Y/N.
"But before you go-" She pulled out her phone from her pocket, "I found my phone so I can take that picture. Now move in closer to Y/N"
I just shook my head, but obeyed.
She took a while to finish since she didn't know what angle she liked best. I honestly think that a photoshoot with her is worse than the ones I normally go to.
I put on a smile as I posed for Mrs. Kim. She seemed to be very happy, but it didn't seem like that for Namjoon. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit worried that he wouldn't like me. But I haven't even spent a day with him yet, I don't think it will be too bad.
When she finished her picture taking, I spoke up.
"We will be on our way now. I'm sure that Namjoon doesn't want to be late on his first day"

She nodded in understanding, "Okay, see you two later"
And after about a minute, we were out. I was walking, side-by-side, with him to our bus. As we went, it was awkwardly quiet, so I tried to start a conversation.
"Umm.. so Namjoon... are you ready for your first day?"
He breathed out, "I guess"
"I'm sure you will like it, it will take some getting used to though"
He stuffed his hands into his white and red jean jacket, not giving an answer back.
"Hey, since we are gonna be around each other for a while, we should get to know each other"
Namjoon sighed, "Sure"
I beamed in happiness, "So, do you have a job? Your parents mentioned it so I was wondering.."
"Yes, I am currently a model for my parent's business and I'm also in training to one day take over the company."
"Oh? That's cool!"
He shrugged. "Ehh, those photographers want to much sometimes"
I smile and giggle a bit. "Well, they have to get every angle of you since you are too perfect," I stopped and noticed his face, eyes widened. "Oh! That came out wrong! I didn't mean that- I mean I'm not saying you don't look good, I just-"
He chuckled with a large smile on his face, showing his cute dimples. Oh my- he could actually murder me with just his dimples.
"Ah! Its fine~"
I feel my cheeks get warm looking at him. "O-oh okay-"
He grins then pokes my cheek, "Why are you so red?" He just starts laughing.
I am probably flustered by now, but I'm glad that I made him smile.
Maybe things wont be so bad after all..
We soon got into the bus and headed for school. When we arrived, Namjoon was struck in amazement.

"Wow- I cant believe I'm actually going here now-"
I giggled, "Better believe it cuz its happening!"
We went inside and went to the principal's office to get Namjoon's locker and locker code. After a while of searching, we thankfully found it.
I was about to put in the code until Namjoon stopped me.
"I can do it."
"Okay..." I stepped back for him to have space to go to the locker.
He just started pressing the buttons until it seemed not to work for him. After a while, it opened surprisingly. He put is backpack inside, and grabbed only what he needed.
He then closed it, but when he did, it just make a high pitched squeaking sound. When we looked at the door, I noticed that the door was slightly dented from Namjoon closing it.
Namjoon looked at it, annoyed, "Aw shit"
I started laughing, "Oh my gosh Namjoon! How did you even manage to do that?"
Namjoon just looked at me blankly as I laughed.
I was soon able to calm myself after not being able to breath for a good minute.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I just found that so funny," I was still smiling widely from all the laughter.
He just shook his head.
"If you break something again, I'll start calling you 'The god of destruction'!"
I giggled jokingly.
Namjoon rolled his eyes, "Aish, you are crazy"
"Not as much as you"
We begin heading towards our first class.
I turn my head towards him, "Thank you for making me laugh, I haven't done that in a long time... I almost thought that I would have forgotten how by now"
He squished his eyebrows, confused. "Why? Like what do you mean that you almost forgot how to smile?"
I took a breath, then put on a smile. "Mmm, don't worry about that"
He just nodded as we entered the class room.
I walk into my house after a long day at school. I flop onto my bed thinking about the whole day. It actually turned out better than I expected.
But there was one thing that kept echoing in my head.
She hasn't laughed in a long time?
Why?
She seemed like a really nice, cheerful person. Why wouldn't she not be able to laugh?
This just kept my head spinning.
There is only one solution to find out why she hasn't laughed, and nothings going to stop me from finding the answer.
