《Fake Girlfriend || NamjoonxReader FF》Ch. 3- At the Café

"Were to?" Ted peered though the mirror to look at Mr. and Mrs. Kim.
Mr. Kim thought for a few seconds before parting his lips," Let's go to Red Garden Café." He gently smiled at his wife, who was sitting next to him.
"Yes sir," Ted starts the car, then lifts his hand to adjust the mirror above him.
She rose a brow as she looked into his soft eyes. "Red Garden Café? We haven't been there for years. What made you think of that now?"
"It's a place of happy memories... makes me smile thinking of it..." He gives a light chuckle and leans back onto his seat as the limo begins to move, "Remember when Namjoon was small, he would beg for ice cream every time we were there, then when he would eat it, he got it all over his face?" He begin to laugh a bit more thinking of his son, covered in ice cream.
"Ahh! And remember when one time, he knocked the bowl of ice cream on the floor from laughing so much? And the place charged us for the broken bowl and ice cream?" She covered her mouth, trying to hold in her laughter.
He squished his eyes shut as he laughed, " Namjoon dared to ever do that again after you whipped his ass that night!"
She lightly hit his arm. "Well, I didn't get him that hard~"
"I have reason to doubt that," he laughed as she looked back at him, giggling.
Some time, the couple arrived at their destination. They both stepped out the vehicle as Mr. Kim thanked Ted for the ride.
They step into the café. It was just as how they remembered it. There was the hard, dark wood floor, that led to the teal blue walls with some paintings of various foods hanging of it. Carefully decorated plates sat on a shelf near the windows with brown blinds over them. At the front, a long, clear glass pane displayed all of the exquisite desserts.

Mrs. Kim smiled and inhaled, smelling the strong scent of coffee and baked goods in the background.
"There's an open spot." He points to a pair of open seat across from them.
She nods then walks over to the table and sits.
"Wait for me as I order something for us," he walks away and goes to the front of the café to order some food.
As he arrived there, a cute, young girl with her hair tied back in a messy bun greeted him, smiling widely.
"Welcome to Red garden Café! How can I help you?" I gave the tall man the best smile I could offer.
"Can I have two coffees, along with a slice of vanilla cake with blueberries on the side?"
"Of course!"
I told him the price, then he handed me his credit card to pay. I took the card from him then inserted it into the machine.
Again, this stupid machine had to take forever to process this payment. Last time, it actually took a good, solid ten minutes. The woman was so mad as cursed at me when it finally finished. She left, not even taking her paid food with her. I hope this doesn't happen again. It's such a weird, awkward silence moment too. Please hurry up. Please.
I smiled awkwardly at the man as we waited. "It's uh, almost done-"
To be honest, it might have another five hours to go before it processes. I swear this thing hates me.
As we stood there, I was able to examine the man a bit. I could see from his tidy, top brand clothing, that he was probably pretty wealthy. From his tapping his foot then taking a quick look at his watch, I realized that he was probably getting impatient. I assume someone in a upper class like him probably can throw us out of business by just one bad review.

Suddenly I heard that glorious beep coming from the machine. Yes! It finished! In a record of time thankfully!
I handed him his card back. " You will have your order in a few minutes."
He looked at me after taking one more look at his watch, " Okay, thank you" He walked back to his seat, as I rejoiced in the back, thankful that the machine worked... well sort of.
The couple soon finished their food and lifted from the seats to leave. I grabbed a wet cloth I had and started walking to their table to wipe it off for the next customer.
As they went their way, I noticed the man drop his wallet from his back pocket. He continued to walk along with his wife, going further and further away from his wallet. I quickly assumed that they probably didn't notice, and I picked it up for him and rushed to catch up with them.
"Umm.. Sir, you dropped your wallet." I placed my hands in front of me to give it to him.
He looked at me, seeming a but shocked, same as his wife. He took the wallet and looked in it.
"You didn't take anything?"
I guessed from their reaction they think people will quickly take advantage of stealing from them at any given moment.
"No, I didn't take anything sir," I said, reassuring him.
The woman smiled. "Such a kind, good mannered young lady. Thank you."
"No problem," I responded. I was happy to make her smile. I felt like I finally did something right for once.
Her face brightened, then I saw her whisper something into the man's ear. She then moved her gaze back to me.
"Come to our home for dinner tomorrow," she smiled happily as she held her husband's arm, " We are grateful for your honesty and pure heart."
Wow. I am invited to their house? And she said I was honest and had a pure heart- well, I don't know so much for pure heart though, but I was willing to accept.
"Yes, I would love to come."
She quickly found a piece of paper in her red purse and a blue ink pen, then handed it to me.
"Could you give me your number?"
I nodded and wrote it and gave it to her.
"I'll text you the time and address tomorrow, I look forward to seeing you!"
I grinned. "Okay, See you!"
They waved goodbye and soon left the café.
I can't believe this just happened. I'm so excited, I could pop!
The couple were sitting in the car again silently, until Mr. Kim spoke up.
"Why did you do that? I mean I know she is nice, but why invite her to out home? We barely know her. We don't even know her name."
She turned her head and smirked at him. " I got a plan."
He widened his eyes. "Really?"
"Yes, and I think its gonna solve our problem. I just need some time with her tomorrow before I make it official."
He gave her a small grin as he shook his head, guessing what the plan probably was, but still a little unsure.
"And what exactly is this plan of yours?"
