Aliya did her usual weekend chores including the laundry when she woke up. She threw in some fruits and vegetables in her blender and made herself a smoothie for her late brunch after her routine spin workout. She had a crazy night with Yoongi and despite of her body aches, she can't miss a workout. She checked her phone and saw Jia had posted updates about their trip. They're in Venice and she looked at their happy faces in all their pictures. Taehyung looks contented and having a time of his life, she bit her lower lip as the familiar pain in her chest came followed by the heavy lump in her throat. She liked Jia's post and left a comment about them looking happy followed by three heart emojis.

Her phone buzzed, it was Jihyun asking how she was and if their plan for lunch is still good. She said yes for the lunch and then added she's just resting and doing chores for today. She didn't tell him how her night went after he left last night of course. Her phone buzzed again and it was from Jimin telling her they'll do their talk today if she's free. She said she was and he replied that he and Jungkook are coming in an hour. They told her not to bother with food because they'll take care of it. Aliya suggested to get some beer too if they're drinking because she was out.

Aliya took advantage of the time by taking a quick shower. It didn't take long when her doorbell rang which signaled the arrival of Jimin and Jungkook. They had their arms full of food and beer.

"Wow, that's a lot." Aliya commented as they came in.

"Jk and I are both really hungry. We had brunch and then had nothing after that." Jimin explained as he laid the bags of take-out food he was carrying on the dining table.

"Your dates got you too busy to eat?" Aliya teased with a small smile on her face.

"It wasn't exactly like that." Jungkook replied sheepishly.

"Let me guess, you guys woke up late, so you had brunch and then got busy again so now you're hungry. Are you guys into kinky stuff like switching partners?" Aliya asked with a giggle.

"Ya, watch your language." Jimin told her tsking and shaking his head at her.

"Watch my language? What's wrong with what I said? I can talk dirty too fyi." Aliya replied which earned another hard look from her friend. If these guys only knew what happened the past night with Yoongi.

"So what do you know about talking dirty?" Jungkook asked chuckling.

Before Aliya could even open her mouth, Jimin spoke again. "Don't bother answering 'coz I don't want to hear it."

"I really hope you guys will stop acting like you're talking to a ten year old. I am an adult now and I am capable of doing things more than you guys think." Aliya knew exactly when to close her mouth because Jimin already have stopped unpacking the food and was just glaring at her.

"Maybe we will start our talk now." He said folding his arms before him.

"Really now?" Jungkook complained as he looked at the food on the table. "Can't that wait after we eat?"

"You can eat now, I'll eat later." He replied as he stared at Aliya.

"I thought you were hungry." Aliya is unfazed by Jimin's anger. They've been having arguments like these since they were in middle school, so she was used to it.

"I'll live. Are you hungry?" Jimin asked. He had that sweet side of him that'll always surface no matter how angry he was.

Aliya smiled at him. "I'll live too." She walked towards Jimin and touched his arms since they were still crossed in front of him. "Come on, what is this thing that you wanted to talk about Yoongi. I already told you guys, I know exactly what I am getting into."

"Why him?"

Aliya shrugged. "Why not him? At least, you know him. Unless you'd rather see me with a random stranger, I meet in the club. I can do that too."

"No, don't even have that kind of thought in your mind. I mean things can get awkward because he is our friend hooking up with you." Jungkook clucks his tongue as he said that.

"You guys pick random girls in the club and no one's complaining about it. He is our friend but it can only get awkward if you keep thinking about it as awkward. Just understand when I say I know what I am doing." Aliya replied looking up at her two friends who were towering over her.

"We just know him too well, don't you care when you get labelled as Yoongi's fuck buddy?" Jungkook asked bluntly.

"Or you can also call this as friends with benefits." Aliya corrected.

Jimin shakes his head. "Can you hear what you're saying right now Aliya?"

"Loud and clear. I know you're worried that I might look cheap but it's not like we'd be openly flaunting it to everyone. No one else knows about it. This is just some crazy phase I am in, you guys won't understand... I just...I just have my reasons." Aliya's tone changed at her last sentence.

"You deserve a guy who will treat you right. Who'll take you seriously." Jimin said his voice losing a little bit of hardness after seeing her expression.

Aliya gave a sad smile remembering Taehyung had told her the same thing too. "I just don't want that kind of relationship right now. After Jihyun, I realized I don't want to be in a serious relationship with anyone."

"You never told us the reason why you broke up with that dude, did he do anything bad? Did he break your heart? 'Coz if he did, I'll break his face." Jungkook spoke.

"Jihyun isn't like that. I wouldn't even bother speaking with him at the bar again too if he did. I think I was the one who broke his heart." Aliya sighed.

Jimin scowled. "Why?"

"I wasn't in love with him." Aliya shrugged.

"Is there another guy? Did you cheat on him?" Jimin asked in disbelief.

"No, I didn't cheat on him technically. The thing is, I've loved this guy even before Jihyun. Don't bother asking who because I won't tell, and you don't know him." She had to lie about that part of course. "It's a one way thing, he can't love me back, let me correct myself, he doesn't love me the way I love him."

"I don't get it." Jungkook said scratching the back of his head as he watched Aliya stare at the floor.

"You don't have to get it. Just trust me, I'll be fine. I'll get over him in time and maybe when it comes, I'll be moving on from Yoongi too." Aliya walked towards the canned soda on the table and grabbed a coke. She hoped that her friends will just end this conversation before they start asking her to reveal the identity of the person she is talking about.

"Does Taehyung know about this other guy?" Jimin asked.

Aliya choked as she drank, she started coughing gasping for air at the same time. Both her friends started to pat her back. Jungkook grabs a paper towel and placed it before her which she takes to cover her mouth. He gives her back a big whack and she gave out a deep gasp.

"Easy with that Jungkook." Jimin said.

"I'm fine." Aliya said, her eyes still teary over her coughing fit.

"What the heck, Aliya, even drinking coke can be a hazard for you. That scared me." Jungkook said. The boys always looked at her as fragile since they were young because they've seen her do stupid things and end up getting into trouble. Like swimming in the lake when she didn't know how to swim. She was too proud to wear floaters so when she jumped and realized it was different from a pool, she ended up drowning. Good thing their parents were around and most importantly her mom because after the dads jumped in to rescue her, her mom was able to give her CPR because she was already unconscious. An ambulance had to be called in and she remembered how scared the boys had been.

Then there was this hiking trip they did in high school. Aliya went with the boys and they were in a steep slope when she lost her balance and slid off the trail nearly falling into a deep ravine. She sprained her foot and had a big cut on her leg because of that fall. The boys parents had to remind them that Aliya is a girl and they need to keep an eye on her at all time. Taehyung took that hard because he knew her longer than Jimin and Jungkook. During that time, he wasn't paying attention to her because he had a crush on one the older girls who were with them. He left her trailing behind everyone else when the accident happened.

"Are we done with our talk?" Aliya asked when she got her composure back. "I am fine don't worry." Aliya said.

"You do know you can develop feelings if you keep on having sex with the same person. What if one day you realize you've fallen in love with Yoongi and he doesn't love you back?" Jungkook asked.

Aliya shrugged "Then it is what it is. That won't be the first time for me anymore." She replied sadly as she thought of Taehyung.

"We don't want to see you hurt because of one our friends." Jimin replied quietly.

That won't be the first time either, Aliya wanted to say. "Look, I've got friends like you who's got my back all the time so I will be fine no matter what. Besides, that is jumping over the bridge already. Just don't over think about it ok?" Aliya hugs both of them with a smile. "Let's eat, I know both of you are hungry."
