You woke up on your bed, facing the ceiling.
You touched the bed beside you, empty.
"Mm? Where could Kanato be?" You asked to yourself as you sat up. You felt something touch you, it was his clothes.
"Hmm? He didn't get it yet? But two days has surpassed already." You wondered out loud. You looked at your phone, smiling at your lock screen.
"Cute as ever." You mumbled. You smile only dropped when you looked at the time.
"Shit! I'm so late." You realized that lunch break must be taking place at school right now. "I guess I can't go to school."
You went down the stairs and to the kitchen, finding a plate of bacon.
'So she finally bought some.' You thought. You could hear the TV, so you got your plate and went to the living room.
Your mom was watching the morning news. Once she saw you, she smiled sweetly. "Honey, I think it's best if you go back to the dining room-"
But your attention was undivided to the latest news. Your jaw dropped.
"Fugitive Kanato Sakamaki, also known as 2413, is finally caught. Media is asking how, police refuse to give details..."
You suddenly couldn't hear anything anymore only the sounds of the fading voice last night.
"Why the fuck did you hit my daughter?!"
"She went in the way!"
"She's starting to lose consciousness."
"Give her to me!"
"Wait, I have to say something-"
Last night's events came flashing through your mind, the pain making it's way to you. Why the fuck didn't he teleport? Everything could've been fine if he did.
"Are you okay, Y/N?" Your mom asked you, concern flowed in her voice.
"Yeah." You tried to say, but your voice cracked. "I'm-I'm okay."

"Would you want to eat breakfast in your room?" She asked. In reply, you nodded. "Alright then."
You walked back to your room, holding an empty and broken heart. Your dad, surely he won't let you visit him, after what he's seen, he will never.
"Why the fuck didn't you escape, you had the fucking power!" You shouted, hitting your pillow.
You cried as you sat down on your bed, then you remembered one last fading voice.
"Never forgot my words, we'll meet again."
Suddenly a feeling filled you inside, hope. Maybe you weren't actually holding an empty and broken heart.
