Characters:

Camille

Born in the year 2035, New England, Camille is a former failed martial artist turned unemployed. She displays traits of sadism and thoroughly enjoys the prospect of winning and dominating others. After 'death', she has been blessed with 'LitRPG powers' and intends on using them to fulfil her own ends. She uses a mix of martial arts, those being muay thai, HEMA, and judo, alongside her new abilities.

(By yanti_ayen_19) Peak Camille. Definitely too jacked here for someone who's only been playing games at the start

Molok

Of unknown age and origin, Molok is a humanoid construct. A creature crafted by the hands of mages, born amidst ivory and magecraft. He has an unhealthy devotion to saving people, and little is known about him. Molok practices his unique style of 'Mask Magic', drawing power from a unique and diverse moveset. He has a mask for petrifying others, redirecting force, enhancing oneself temporarily and detecting magical energy.

Aedi

A somewhat crazy Egyptian bounty hunter mage. She hunts Camille throughout Volume 1 for a seemingly irrational and futile purpose. Her magic employs the conceptualization of the 'Eyes of Ra'. By throwing disks designed in the shape of Ra's 'Disks of the Sun', Aedi is able to convert them into fiery snakes which track targets by their heat and cannot be destroyed through physical means. One way to counter this ability is to use red beer or wine, which like in the original Egyptian mythology, was used to trick the snakes into thinking it was blood, thereby distracting them and making the creatures inebriated.

Morgan Pendragon

The childhood friend of Camille. They bonded over their shared distance from other people and gradually grew to have a strong bond. She greatly admires Camille's determination and is happy to see her best friend return to her former glory (whether it encompasses violent tendencies or not). Morgan's family was a part of a religious cult that worshipped King Arthur and as such, legally changed their last names to match his.

Factions

Knights of the Round Table

As a result of the Third World War, the United Kingdom (as it was formerly known) faced the unprecedented threat of invasion. On the brink of its collapse and its darkest hour, however, came the return of the mythical King Arthur himself. Uniting the country under his leadership, it is said that King Arthur felled an entire invading force with a single swing of his famed Excalibur alone. Due to his prolonged influence and the increased presence of monsters, a new Knights of the Round Table was formed. A military force of over a hundred strong, dedicated to preserving peace across the realm.

Champions of Principle

Following the great disaster of the USA, the vast majority of its lands were rendered unhospitable for human lifeforms, and android lifeforms gradually began to replace humans as the predominant force. Fighting wars on their behalf in the hopes of retaking the lands for themselves. However, as the humans began to gradually fall into depression, the great leader and Third Sovereign Elijah Smith, the android leader of the USA, came up with a plan. Experimenting with a fusion of magic and science, they took in willing test subjects and treated them to a series of experiments that granted them the ability to overwrite reality. However, it proved to be largely unsuccessful as test subjects would die a short while after, and as a result, Smith came up with a new theory. One that involved drawing power from the American Myth, that being 'superheroes' the test subjects although were still able to overwrite reality, but were now only able to do so on a personal basis, being able to change their bodies and power to fit whatever superhero persona they adopted. Now a League of over 20 different superheroes, they are an anomaly which is actively at odds against mages who deem them to be an abomination.
