《Hello, Inside Monster》EPILOGUE: THIS WORLD IS ONLY A CAROUSEL OF DREAMS AND NOTHING MORE

Big flakes, snowflakes were falling on the streets, covering everything around with innocence and pain at the same time, as also covering DooSan’s body, who was stopped in the middle of the street, staring at a big screen that was seen on one of the high buildings. But not the fact that he saw that screen there made him stop and stare at it, but what was seen on that screen: the news, those that were saying that Ian SolHi, who terrified the entire world 7 years ago by killing the prosecutor in charge, Han YuSan, and who 7 years later killed someone for hating him, got a death penalty.
Yes… it was so… San DuSik’s request in the trial has been accepted by the Court of Law, which saw, in that case, the possibility to give an example to the others, more because SolHi was part of the Prosecution, working as a detective in the Special Group of Investigations when she killed a simple former high school teacher.
Thus, sentencing her to death, they could make everybody shudder again, especially those who ever thought or were still thinking to play with the law, the one which never forgives any bad joke. And… namely, that loud case brought the Korean system of law in front, considered as being again the fairest and the most feared of all. It was a total success, for thus they made justice for all SolHi’s victims, but also for all those who followed that case and who asked, through a lot of bills, signed by a large number of people, for the assassin’s death. And… to satisfy everyone, they got what they wanted: SolHi has been sentenced to death and without the possibility to ask for a new trial.
„SolHi!” DooSan murmured unwillingly and his eyes filled again with tears, for… he felt sorrow to know that he has lost in the end: actually, they both have lost. In fact, DooSan lost more than SolHi did, for even if that decision made justice to YuSan, he wasn’t happy. Per contra: he felt that he was burning inside, as if hot magma was boiling inside of his heart, killing him instead of SolHi.

But… DooSan had a different pain in his heart: that he didn’t see SolHi at all in those 4 months she has been imprisoned, and this happened because SolHi refused to see him. Even at the trial, DooSan hasn’t been left to enter, even if he was the brother of one of her victims. And… they never told him the reason why he hasn’t been left in, but he suspected that it was SolHi who asked for this.
And DooSan has been refused to be seen not only by SolHi, but also by Lee, who was all the time on a business trip, always unavailable, and if DooSan went to his home to see him, Lee’s wife told him that if he wants to see Lee then he should leave a message and he’ll call him back.
And DooSan left a message: not only one actually, but a lot, messages that actually hadn’t been answered, and he considered this betrayal, for he saw in Lee a father, a mentor, a good friend, who also turned his back on DooSan since he took SolHi out of Kanam Police Station without telling a word to DooSan or explaining something to him.
DooSan winced, hearing: „Finally, she got what she deserved!” It was the voice of a young lady that was not that far from him and in whose voice DooSan could feel the evil, the rancor, a kind of devilish satisfaction, even if he was sure that SolHi probably never knew her nor did her something wrong.
Looking at the face of the one who talked, DooSan saw her looking with disgust at SolHi’s photo, which was actually seen on the whole screen, and this provoked DooSan a lot of pain, for even if he knew the reason why SolHi’s face was seen on all the channels, on every single screen, as a hot theme to talk about, for being an example of fair justice and that the criminals always pay for what they did, it still hurt him a lot, for… SolHi was the woman he loved, in the end, despite all the things that ever happened between them.

Then, so suddenly that he has also been amazed by his reaction, he turned his back on that screen and moved away, still hearing whispers of hatred addressed to SolHi, who was blamed by everybody, pointed with the finger, and called the „national trash.” And… finally, did Han DooSan understand how exactly lived SolHi all those years: like a shadow, and he agreed with what Mina told him once: „do you still think that the jail will bring your brother back, prosecutor Han? You are so wrong if you think so! If you want revenge then simply let her live in this world - I assure you that she’ll pay a bigger price than the one you want. And maybe it’ll be also so painful.”
***
„Pain… when will all this end? When will I stop being this shadow everybody is trampling under their feet? Probably never, even if I did what I did for loving so much: a lot, with all my heart and with all my body. But… this life is so cruel. And… so damn cursed,” murmured SolHi, laying on the cold floor of the jail’s bathroom, completely wet and naked while being cruelly kicked and beaten by a group of prisoners - women that not only used her legs and fists to hurt her body, but also wet towels with the soap wrapped on them.
But… what really made her wish to die was the fact that she has been kicked again in her belly and this reminded her about the 7 year ago nightmare. And… namely, those moments that came to her mind brought the cruel truth back to her life - that who really destroyed her life then has been Han YuSan.
Yes, right: he has been and she remembered this so well, especially his face, his demon eyes, and his terrifying smile drawn on his lips while having pleasure with her body.
And SolHi closed her eyes… leaving herself prey to death and its madness, because… oh, God, if there’s still justice in this world, then Ian SolHi did it with her own hand… when she grabbed the handle of that hummer and hit Han YuSan’s head… mercilessly, making him pay for what he did to her.
Then… a total silence has been heard around her… a silence which she longed for so long, a silence which she wanted so much. And… even if the other prisoners continued to savagely hit her, SolHi didn’t feel anything else. She was walking onto a road which showed in front of her and, at whose end, she saw a light… it was probably the last light seen by her eyes on this earth. Then… tears fell from her eyes… probably also for the last time…
***
Darkness… again light… then darkness… bloody bodies lying on the floor of the jail’s bathroom. Only on a corner, someone could be seen… crouched, bloody, someone who took revenge for everything someone did to him or her in this life.
Who that person was? Probably only God knew the truth… and that Demon… that Inner Demon called… Life.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
