Chapter 10

“Allister”

Ten goes back into the memories of IKKI and later finds her in a alley. Ten with a sad expression on his face tries to help the cat IKKI but forgets that he’s a ghost. He didn’t know what to do then moments later a boy comes across to help the poor kitten.

(Boy) Don’t worry little kitten. I’ll take care of you.

Ten looks at the boy and notices that his face was quite familiar. The boy carry the kitten home and Ten follows them all the way. The child cleans and took care of IKKI like of his own family. This still bother Tensei of trying to figure out who the kid was that took in IKKI.

(Boy) Hm~... I haven’t given you a name yet huh. How about .... IKKI!

The shock hit Tensei hard as when he remember the man named Allister gave IKKI her name. This boy is Allister in his childhood years.

(Ten) Allister?! So this kitten was IKKI. And this boy is-

When Ten connects the dots together he finally understands but then the room around him shifted to a timeskip. He sees Allister playing with IKKI while growing up. He thought to himself real hard to understand what was going on with IKKI situation but nothing came through. When Ten went further into her memories, he sees Allister as an adult and IKKI remained the same. IKKI never looked much happier to be with Allister but then he met some other females .. fiancée candidates. Apparently for Allister case, he was in wealthy family as a lord and next heir to be the head of his clan. This put a lot of pressure on Allister as his father forced him to become the head. Obviously he didn’t want to take over the clan and so he eventually skips out on meetings for marriage.

(Allister’s father) Allister when will you grow up and take responsibility? As every day passes by I won’t be here to control the group so you must take my place!

Allister looks away from his own father eyes like he didn’t even care for the headship. All he care for was IKKI and no other else in his life.

(Allister) I know... father.

(Allister’s father) if you know then try to care ... for our people and nobility instead of that cat you always play with. I arrange a meeting for another candidate who’s loyal to be your wife. Don’t think about skipping out again. I’m tired of lying to them about you attending somewhere else.

(Allister) Sigh~... yes father.

Allister holds IKKI tight into his arm as his father left the scene.Of course he wasn’t going to the meeting but it still bother him from all the peer pressure.He went out again just for a walk around the woods with IKKI. He thought to himself about running away but it can’t work due to people knowing his lineage and face. The ideas he came up with just went down the drain.IKKI comforts Allister to cheer him up from his stressful life.

(Allister) IKKI you’re such a good cat. I hope you stay the same. You never betray me.

(IKKI) MEOW~.

Allister continues to pat IKKI on the head but then she starts to glow. He didn’t know what was happening to his cat but then her body change form into a women. She had long gold hair, cat ears and a tail. Allister was surprised about seeing IKKI in a human form.

(Allister) Wha-? IKKI?

IKKI nods her head saying a yes to him. He didn’t know what to say but adored the fact about IKKI wasn’t an ordinary cat. He couldn’t tell anyone about this and so Allister kept her little secret. Ten wonders about Allister being a nice person before but what made IKKI be so cautious of him in the present. Ten continuously goes further in as the time flew and now stops from a rude awakening again just like before with Ume.

(Haru) IKKI! TENSEI! BREAKFAST!

Both yawned and got up out of the bed. Ten stops for a moment to look at IKKI curiously with a questionnaire face to check on her. IKKI was clearly alright but still had bags under her eyes.

(IKKI) Come on Ten! Breakfast will get cold.

Ten runs down with IKKI to the dinning table for their breakfast. He realizes that he had only 2 days left for IKKI to come up with an answer to Allister.
