Arriving in the guild we submitted the mushrooms that we harvested and informed the guild about the magic beast that we saw in the mountainside getting us an extra money for the valuable information, then we split our earnings and headed outside the guild.

“Do you want to join me in exploring the city?” I asked the three of them when we were outside.

“I do! I'm interested seeing the barracks I heard that knights sometimes comes there!” Bart said.

“I'm going to buy some spare arrows and also watch over Bart so I'll come.” Alexa added looking at the excited Bart.

“I'll pass I plan to check in merchant guild for something.” Denn said looking apologetic.

“It's alright we can explore the city again next time with you, this city is big to be explored for half a day, Oh and Denn can I ask where did you buy you map?” I asked.

“I got it from the guild.”

“Thanks.” I said my thanks to Denn who's already heading towards the crowd.

“Where do we start?” Bart asked.

“Let's start at the central plaza that is closer.” I said pointing towards it and about to start walking towards the plaza but stopped by a hand making me look back at Alexa who have a look of disgust in her eyes.

“Are you going with that armor and weapons still on?” she said taking her hand away.

“What's wrong about it?!” Bart asked.

“Were not going outside we are exploring the city, who would look kindly on us if they saw us carrying weapons and also look at what were wearing its smelly and have blood splashes in it.” she said chiding Bart for his cluelessness.

“So what do we do then?” I asked while sniffing myself which do smell bad like she said.

”We will first go back in our own inns and clean up ourselves then meet up in the plaza. Make sure you wear a proper clothes.” she said as she took Bart's hand and following what she told I also go back to the Cheapest Inn.

After doing what she told me to do I then headed towards the central plaza.

The plaza is big with a fountain on the center of it this is where most people of the city gathered doing there own things, there are also stalls that sells food and people of different ages are there either playing or doing their own things, its a big and crowded place so its not easy finding people in there.

I looked around searching for the two of them but I can't find them so I head towards the fountain which is the middle of this plaza and after couple minutes of looking around I finally found the two.

Bart is dressed casually like me with a white shirt and brown pants while Alexa's attire was unlike when we are doing our quest, her hair which is usually tied together was freed cascading until her hips it is paired with her dress that is common among girls but with her black-green hair she made others turn their heads just to look at her.

As I was complimenting Alexa in my mind the two of them finally noticed me as Bart started waving to me.

“Where do we head first?" I asked them after they reached me because I don't have destination in mind.

“Let's buy my arrows first it closer here.” Alexa added as she pointed towards the south-east part of the city.

“Then let's go!” Bart said running towards where she pointed first.

We passed couple of streets until we arrived at a street where there is tons of vendors on the both sides of the road laying down there different assortment of products on a cloth.

“What is this place?!” I raised my voice so that they can hear me amidst the noise.

“This is the market area!” she said loudly too as we weaved through the crowd.

“Then where are we going?!”

“Just follow me.”

The crowd and noise then lessen as we enter an alley which have more shade due to the two house blocking the sun from shining through, Alexa then head straight in before turning to the next alley and then after few more turns we arrived at the small house with a sign of bow and arrow hanging from the door, Alexa then knock the door twice while both me and Bart keep our mouth quiet.

“Who goes there?” a raspy female voice came from inside.

“Its me Alexa.” she said.

The door then opened and a lady's head with a messy dark green hair dangling from it pop out in the crack of the door, she squinted towards Alexa first then towards us before yawing and opening up the door fully.

“Come in.” she said in voice which now much clearer but after we took our step inside the house both me and Bart looked away from embarrassment.

“Can you put something more proper, I have people with me.” Alexa said towards the woman who is wearing baggy shirt bigger for her body then she looked back towards us with a frown making both of us turn around with some hesitation.

“Oh! I forgot their boys sorry, sorry, its must be exciting for both of you don't it? Hehehe” she teased both of us as she go back towards a room and but instead of changing clothes she walked out with a quiver full of arrows and tossed it out towards Bart who then catches it. He passed it to Alexa as she throw her back a pouch.

“Payment received.” she said catching the money. “Now go out brats I'll need to catch back my sleep.” she added gesturing us to leave.

“I'll come back again.” Alexa said as she turned around heading towards the door but stopped when she heard the woman's next words.

“Don't. I don't have the thing you seek.” said the woman with a much serious voice different from the tone she's using earlier.

Alexa raised her hand slowly grabbing the door open. “I'll come back.” she said with more emphasize in each words making the woman heaved a hard sigh before shrugging her shoulders.

We then exited the place and walk for a couple minutes before Bart sighed breaking the silence.

“I thought you've given up on that.” he said as he shook his head slowly.

“Why would you think so? Its carries both my mother and grandmother's wish how can I just discard it?” she said so in a low voice like convincing herself.

“Um..” Interrupting them they turned their heads on me. “I don't know what's happening.” I said looking at them awkwardly.

'I thought we will explore the city not your life!' I thought a little angry because of the atmosphere which was supposed to be exciting but I am also a little curious about the thing Alexa seek or her parents wish.

“I'm sorry for dragging you this.” she replied while smiling wryly.

“I don't get it, why would you let other people like me who don't know yet for long to come with you?”

“I don't know I just felt that I should inform you, maybe because I know that you have planning to travel a lot of place.” she said.

“What does it have to do with my journey?”

“Don't you want to explore different places? In that case you might find it in your travels in the future, an elf village."

“An elf village?” I asked with an excitement in my voice.

“Home of the pure elves, I want to go there to fulfill both my mother and grandmother's wish, we are family of elves but we are not pure unlike the elves that lives in the villages who have long ears and a green hair.”

“But how can I tell you if I found it?”

“I don't know maybe after you finished your journey.”

“Let's stop this talk already didn't we plan to explore the city why wont go back to the market place to see if we can buy something.” Bart said cutting in our gloomy conversation.

We both agreed and trace back our steps towards the market place, we explored different vendors and stalls while eating the food bought from them then we went towards the north gate where the barracks are after following Bart but we were stopped from entering making Bart sulk so to cheer him up we decided to ate our dinner together in the restaurant we frequently eats, we then conversed until the time to say our goodbyes to each other came.

I then got back to the inn and laid down in my bed as I started contemplating about Alexa.

'Its my first time hearing about elves, so Alexa has a blood of an elf in her and she also said that there are hidden elf villages out there, I hope I can find them someday and explore it.'

I didn't slept well that night because of excitement I have in imagining the elves and their villages based on Alexa's description.
