《Fantasy Tech Online》Chapter 3: Dungeon Discovery

Approaching the scorpion, Rellik wonders what kind of system is in place for loot. As he puts his hand on the beast, a screen appears in front of it.
In Fantasy Tech Online, looting works a bit differently. You can decide to collect the natural ressources or you can pray to your chosen diety for manufactured materiels, if you don't have a chosen diety, the system will provide basic gear without godly effects. Natural manufactured
4 black chitin
1 scorpion claw
1 earthspike dagger (+3 damage, +10% armor penetration)
-Well, choosing the materiels probably lends to better items but since there is nowhere to craft, the dagger is a better choice. He says as he selects the dagger which materializes on his belt. No inventory? Rellik exclaims. I probably should have chosen space magic.
Making his way back to the starting area, nothing interesting happens until about halfway, where he finds a cave with smooth walls.
-That cave isn't natural. Rellik thinks to himself. I should probably check it out.
Passing through the entrance, he follows what is undoubtedly a dungeon. The first room is about ten meters and houses five goblins. The little people are tricky to fight as they have natural weapons, a humanoid body and some level of intelligence. Luckily Rellik is an experienced diver and uses his ice magic to make them fall, rendering them easy prey, This lasted for about a dozen rooms before he reaches the first door in the mazelike structure. only then does Rellik check his notifications.

-Well, it's now or never, I should get this done.
He entered the new room, in it, there was a throne with carved skulls on it. The final boss looks like some sort of goblin with a crown, it's nameplate markes it as a Goblin Lord. As their eyes meet, the boss stands up and charges ahead, his sword trailing behind.
You have died
120 experience lost
Rellik opens his eyes, he's back in the starting area, but it's changed. Where there was once an empty clearing, there's now the start of a town.
-Look who the cat dragged in. Did you have fun Rellik?
-Hey Paladin, this place has really changed.
-Yeah, We had a load of crafters in the batch and had to build workshops. So, how did it go after we died?
Rellik smiles.
-It went okay, I just defeated a level 15 boss and managed to almost clear the first floor of a dungeon. After a bit of thought, he also added. I almost forgot, I've reached level 8 and got a piercing dagger.
-No way, I don't believe you, you're kidding.
As they were talking, Paladin brings Rellik to a building in the center of the town.
-Let's talk more inside, someting happened while you were gone.
