P.O.V KynKykvandi and Reivi

Milder and his group seemed surprised to see me this time, even though they saw me before yesterday. Perhaps I truly was intimidating up close. I had claws, black glowing sclera with blue irises, long ash blonde hair, red lines on my face and pale green skin and I had a large rifle so maybe I did look like a force to be reckoned with.

-You are also taller than even Milder who is 170 centimetres and Seicig who is 160 centimetres. They are both really tall.-

What?

-You are really really tall.-

I Got up from the table, slowly walked away from the group and went for the exit. Yesterday I was exhausted from fighting and I was exerting myself too much, so I didn't pay much attention to the town and it's designs.

The road through the town was packed dirt with channels for water on the edges, the houses had some moss on the corners of the rooves, the houses were a mixture of brick, lumber and shale roof to make humble but sturdy homes and, surprisingly, all the houses were made like this.

-The ingenuity and effectiveness of modern day funds and production.-

As I walked to the market to see what they had I saw a small girl crying and sitting on the road. The market was east of here. Stop crying. Maybe i should get a better weapon. Stop CRYing. I don't have STOP so it'll have to CRYING something small. STOP CRYING. I was towering above her with my hand about to crush her throat. She looked at me with fear in her eyes. "Can you help me find mum?" I crouched down to her level. "Stop crying." The girl looked at me and just continued to cry. Finally she said comprehensibly in between her sobs. "I can't *hic* find my mummy!"

I Tried my best to not scare her as I walked towards the market.

She was following me. She wasn't crying anymore.

-DAMMIT SHE'S ANNOYING! Just kick her away and be done with it.-

I know how little kicking something away helps. You're still here, aren't you?

-Whatever.-

After walking with the little girl for a while I started to get her scent. After some more minutes, we found the market which was sprawling with people buying and selling trinkets. I caught the scent of someone who smelled like her, when I came close to the person it was a black haired woman crying while shouting the girl's name. When she saw her daughter she instantly looked relieved but then it turned into fear as she looked at me.

"Mommy! I missed you! This nice person helped me find you!" The small girl was crying as she ran to her mother and hugged her mother tightly. The woman then turned to me, the fear still in her eyes but less than before. "Thank you so much for finding my daughter. How can I ever repay you? I don't have much money as it is." She looked at me, crying half for joy, half for fear of what I might ask for in return.

I just looked at her. What could i say? All i could do was walk away. She hugged her daughter harder, crying even more, thankful the monster that helped her wasn't dangerous. Seeing something like this made me feel warm inside. I miss my wife and son.

-Something like this brings an instantly evaporating tear to my eyes partly due to sweat and this uselessly heart warming scene as proof of your humanity outside of combat.-

"You should really stop spying on people." I turned around to see Seicig standing behind me, her hand on her staff and a smile on her face. "I'm surprised, I thought you were a mindless killing machine hellbent on absolute genocide. I was wrong." That was only partly true. Unfortunately.

-Funny that you were one before you became something that is almost always associated with that.-

"Don't judge people from their appearances. Looks can be deceiving, Psychic" Instantly Seicig's eyes opened slightly and she stepped back. "You speak ancient elven!?" I just looked at her and started to laugh, causing everyone who was at the market to step back even further from us. "Gadewch i ni barhau yn eich iaith." Seicig instantly got more surprised at the revelation by my part. "How about I buy some supplies for me while we talk in your home language." She flinched at my request.

-Kyn. Getting all the ladies since becoming a demon.-

We walked past all the stalls, buying food, supplies and something for me. "How much for a fire stone, air stone and some mithril wire?" I was buying some materials. Who knew when these would come in use? "Oeddech chi addysgir Elven neu y cawsoch eich geni yno?" The question was a simple one and she seemed interested in us telling our pasts. "Fi oedd yn amddifad y corachod a geir yn yr afon. Ble wnaethoch chi ddysgu Elven hynafol?" Her accent was definitely high elven and she acted almost like one. "Daeth â'r gwaith. Pam mae'r pwerau meddyliol?" She seemed interested at me asking her that.

I saw a fine blue tabard not too dissimilar to the group's livery. I went up to the man selling it. "How much for the coat?" It felt nice to be wearing something that fit me. My eyes fell upon a long sword not like the others, it was a curved sword.

it had a black scabbard, white leather wrappings and the guard was an octogonal disk shape. I walked over to the merchant who was covered in a robe completely, but they still breathed. I slowly put my hand on the blade but before I could touch it the person squirmed. "No touching!"

Maybe another day... "Fi oedd yn fedrus mewn pwerau meddwl ac maent yn fy hyfforddi'n. Gall i geisio darllen eich meddwl?" Seicig was back into our conversation of answers and questions.

-Ooh, ooh, my turn. Beth y uffern wnaethoch chi ei ddweud?-

"I promise you, you won't like it in there. Wait, before you do that, let's go back to the inn." I didn't know what would happen if I put my mental defences down, and if she got hurt I would have to drag her back. When we arrived at the inn it was less full than before, probably because I was not something you would sleep in the same inn as.

We went into my room which now had five bedrolls on the floor. I sat on the floor and Seicig sat on the bedroll I assumed was hers. She then put her hands on my temples and looked at me. "Ready?"

P.O.V.: Seicig

I nodded and focused on a small wisp in my mind. Before me was before a titanic spiked wall, with guts and heads hanging on the spikes. I transmitted my sensations openly in the realm, and the wall slowly cracked open. I then saw something both beautiful and disturbing: the past of something not even worthy of being called human, Kykvandi's past. There was a sea of blood, islands of heads from kings and armies, big and small, a mountain that was crumbled to dust and me, standing on the sea, my skin was covered in wounds and black blood, weapons of all kind lodged in my back, my bones broken, yet I was still standing, panting, barely clinging onto life, and worst of all massive waves of pain, oh the pain was unbearable. Then all of it disappeared, revealing a woman. She hugged me, yet still untainted by blood pouring from every part of my body. She then kissed my split and cracked lips.

P.O.V.: Kykvandi

I opened my eyes to Seicig shaking her eyes up in her skull and blood trickling out of her nose. "HELP! SHE'S HAVING A SEIZURE!" I quickly held her down and stopped her from biting her tongue. Quickly, the rest of the group came and helped hold her down. Saethwyr was scared and looked at me with anger. Milder pulled out his mace and stood his ground. "WHAT DID YOU DO!?" The elf then punched me which hurt, but the black haired lady held him back as Milder and Varr tried to help Seicig on the floor.

Then Seicig calmed down and just lied on the floor. Milder was kneeling the floor, crying. I went out of the room to get some water for her. As I walked out of the door I leaned against the wall and roared with my mouth closed.

WHY DOES EVERYONE THAT GETS CLOSE TO ME GET HURT OR DIE!?

-Don't get angry. There isn't any reason for you to get angry.-

SHE COULD HAVE DIED! DON'T TRY TO PIN THIS ON ME, YOU COWARD!

-You agreed to this. You knew this could happen. You could have simply told her everything. But you didn't. You decided you would let her feel every needle and pillar lodged into your flesh throughout your entire life. That was the cowardly thing to do. Because you couldn't bear to tell her yourself.-

You don't understand this pain, even from the moment you were born, you expressed disinterest in my life. IN MY SUFFERING!

-Oh, how pitifully unaware you are of our situation.-

Trying to pull myself together, I walked slowly to get a pitcher of water. When I came back into the room, Seicig was covered in a blanket, leaning against the bed. I slowly walked in and she looked at me with understanding eyes, the rest of the group was giving me glares. I sat down at the opposite end of the room and just sat, then I put the pitcher down. "Drink, it's got mandrake mixed in." Seicig picked up the pitcher with a shaking hand and chugged it with help of the others who held it up. She then started closing her eyes and fell asleep. Milder and the group looked at me with anger in their eyes. "You know, I was turned into this the way you almost are now." Milder then came close and sat down next to me. "If she dies, I will personally hunt you down."

"Fair enough." He then hugged me and cried. Clearly he had feelings for Seicig. I then patted his back and stood up, got my bedroll out, my jacket off and my rifle on the table, I lied on the bedroll and closed my eyes. "Go the fuck to sleep. I won't peek." everyone then got their armour and clothes off before lying in their respective bedrolls. When they all fell asleep, I snuck out, got my clothes back on and snuck out. I had training to do.

-You know it.-
