《8.29mm》Liuxing's Home/Nix Cameo Title That Was Too Long to Fit

Liuxing's Home (AKA chapter that was too short to publish on it's own)
Liuxing stumbled at the local bus stop. Her flooffy coat was bloody and dirty, and throwing Seal at her enemy replayed in her mind. Some would say it was cruel, as he was still practically a child. But he didn't matter to Hun, all that did was Lolita. His knife was in her hands now, which she had covered in his blood when she pushed him with it. She took an absurdly small vial and scraped the blade with it. His blood filled the vial, and Hun pocketed it. The bus was here after all. She got on her long ride back to the nearest sea port, where she could go back to Romania, also where her actual family was before they gave her up to be adopted at an absurdly young age. Finally, some rest. At her true home, too. She sat with her neck on the backrest and her legs as far forward as they could go. Well, she might need a new pair of Liu Liu shoes. Maybe some pants too. She could feel all the eyes in the vehicle, right on her, and her large military green canvas bag. She raised her elbows onto her seat like this was all no biggie. Like she had never murdered her only potential friend, like she didn't murder someone else's.
What is the future, may I ask? How does time progress, and what if something decides it wants to contradict all the knowledge that normal beings have? That's how I wrote this text here in a book after all, for you to see in a completely different reality. Is everyone's mere existence just some text? Is everything you've ever accomplished just some ink? Anyways, don't expect me to write this well, I'm not a philosopher. Think about that for a minute. Then, have fun at least. -Deus Nix

Seal rose from the deep puddle that was sleep again. All he could feel was warmth, even after laying in that frigid water. He looked at Pistolet's beautiful face, and felt a feeling so strong in his gut. He would never let even a feather brush her without permission. He began to feel pure rage, and the feeling rose to his chest. If someone so much as thinks about touching her, they probably won't be thinking for much longer. I'll personally smear their entire life on a wall. Tears of pure anger formed for whoever dared to try and harm Pistolet. The reason he wore a Seal mask was because he wanted his mask to be unique. Not a horse mask, so he wouldn't be compared to some guy named Bojack. Not a ski mask 'cause he'd look like some common thief in a kids movie. His favorite animal was a Seal, so he got a Seal mask. He looked outside, and at the moon to calm himself down. A bird flew by. I didn't know it was this late at night. He saw some palm trees waving in the warm night breeze… Wait, palm trees!? I thought we were still in Engle! Pistolet moved, he looked down at her. She looked right back at him. "Oh, I see you're confused. We're in the Florida province of the UCLA. Where you grew up. I thought you'd like to be back here." Tears came to Seal Man eyes. He hadn't seen his true home for years. He could barely remember those palm trees, seeing them at such a young age. Suddenly, the door handle slowly rotated. Seal almost screamed, keeping it down his throat like he had the flu and was going to throw up. The door cracked, and it turned out it was just a nurse checking on all the patients. Wait, why is she so small? Ms. Nurse grew a stern face. "Hey! No visitors after 9:00 PM, leave now before I call security!!!" Pistolet shrugged. "Guess doing this hard of a job still doesn't get you a pass." Trudging out the door, she looks behind her and smiles before going out of sight. Seal Man is tired of being humble when it comes to asking questions. "Why are you so small?" The nurse giggled. "You probably aren't native here, so I'll give you a pass. You are in United College Lolis of America territory. A man named Alexander was doing some messing around with genetics when he figured out a way for everyone to look young for a really long time. Not only that, but he also became president! Everyone did the gene mod, and everyone's children had children, so now almost everyone looks way too young for their age. No other countries have done it, worrying about the disabilities or defects that could occur. So far, so good though!" Seal Man remembered a bit from when he was 6. It must have just seemed normal to him since he was that size too. The nurse raised her pointer finger towards the ceiling. "One more thing! Since the gene edited is in the X chromosome and is a dominant gene, males (on average) have double the chance to get the gene than woman. So, there is still some quote on quote 'normal' people around. Almost always, the father will have his son's genes modded back to normal, because men always want to be so big and strong apparently. Not uncommon for the parents to also do that with their daughter too." Seal nodded. Good thing I don't have it. "Oh." He basically grunted in his painkiller induced stupor. The nurse opened the door again. Well, there are other people besides you I need to check on. Drink lots of water!!!" Well, seems people here are nice. He put his head back on his considerably comfortable pillow. I guess the UCLA's switch to a more classic Svirige system pages off. I won't have to pay a four thousand dollar hospital bill!

Journey of Infinite Steps
Science Fiction/ Low fantasy Iliad. Oliver just wanted a job that could keep his family fed, and himself sane. Was that so much to ask for? Apparently. As he instead ends up facing monsters and dodging his way to another world instead. Competent as he views himself figuring out how to reopen a portal back home by himself is defiantly above his knowledge base. Of coarse it would be vastly simpler if he could keep 'getting back home' as his primary goal. 'Staying alive' is unfortunately a far more immediate and relevant goal. I will post any content warnings on a Per Chapter basis. Divisive content will be as skip-able as I can reasonably manage Discord Link will be available for those interested in assisting editing/ coauthoring. Especially character writers/those willing to work out the math/ economies and world building even if only as a wall to bounce ideas off of.-----Full Synapsis contains serious spoilers----- Looking to take care of his family, Oliver finds himself flung into a faraway place. Try as he might, his Iliad will not be simple or peaceful as he'd like. Alas the slow and unending war of Chaos and Order has long memories and longer reach. If Oliver is to make his way back home it looks like He'll have to solve the universe one fight and mystery at a time. Especially as the Laws of Physics shift, often on a per world basis. Hopefully there is still a home to come back to.

Parallel universes exist. Ten years ago, a terrorist organization called Liroli waged an all-out war against the World Order, bent on obtaining the means to travel between these parallel universes. Although the war ended with the government's victory, it was not without consequences. A poisonous element known as Lorine began leaking from the other worlds, bringing a plague that wiped out a third of humanity — the infamous May Death. Those infected gained strange abilities, in exchange for their certain death in a year. To counter the great plague that threatened humanity's survival, the government launched the World Restoration Project: gathering those infected and sending them into Lorine-polluted parallel worlds to seal the leaks between them. But it isn't that easy a task, as many dangers lurk behind these worlds, while those infected must deal with their own looming deaths. This is the story of Jack Waterfelt, the only human in the world immune to the May Death, and the 43rd Sealing Squad.
