Seal Man woke up. He almost felt like he could see words with his mind and what the hell, he felt like he saw someone next to his bed. Wait, a bed? Where, what… How? At least some sleep is nice. Why can't I see farther than a couple feet? Why am I thinking so much!? His eyes closed, then opened. It wasn't even a blink because it felt so robotic. He could see farther. I'm hungry. I'm going to go grab some chili lime chips from my pantry. Seal Man tried to get up, but something interrupted him. Seal Man just put his head down. Huh, my chest feels tingly. He looked down to see thick white cloth which was tie dyed red. Why am I wearing hipster clothing? He blinked again. His vision's fog cleared more. He could see that basically everything was white. Am I dead? He swore he could see someone at the side of his bed. He blinked a couple more times. Yep, someone was certainly there. His brain scrambling for an answer, it told him to get up. Struggling against the tingling in his chest, he tried to get up. A voice sounded, like a person with a mic in a concert hall, but is the only sound, and the concert hall was poorly designed and was too echoey. "Don't try to get up. Those doctors worked really hard to keep you alive."

"Huh?"

Seal Man blinked more times, and his vision was completely clear for the time being. Was that a small girl? In this aspect, I don't mean age, because she looks the same age as me, I mean stature. "But what about the Chili Lime chips in my pantry?" She laughed. "What pantry? You are in a hospital. I could buy you some chili lime chips though." Seal Man tried to get up again. The small woman simply sat on his feet. "Hey, let me leave." He struggled a bit more, but it felt as if his body was really stiff butter. He blinked again. He could fully see her face. She had really long dark brown hair and had a very round face. Her face was uncomfortably symmetrical and perfect, like nothing had ever laid a finger on her face. She noticed the eye contact, and drew her face closer to his. He could see right into her gentle looking eyes. Her pupils dilated, and she smiled. She drew her face even closer. Now they were about four centimeters away, uncomfortably close. Lolita, she even smelled good. He could feel her breath on his face, and it didn't even feel gross. Her breathing pattern was pleasant and steady, and she didn't seem to feel any negative or neutral emotions. She simply seemed happy. Her lips looked full, and soft. They practically gleamed in the light. Wait a minute!? What on Lolita's blue robes is going on!? There is literally that one woman my family has always warned me about four centimeters away from my face! She gently whispered: "I know better than you know yourself. I have watched you ever since that one day when you bombed the capitol building. Seeing as I had no friends and all of my comrades were typically 20 or above, you were the only one I could relate to. You almost seemed like a pen pal to me. Just that bullets would be the result, not laughter or friendship. Now you're finally in front of my eyes, the only person I have truly known. Despite all you did, only two were killed because of what you did. I have killed many more for money, if anything, I am the bad guy." Seal Man had no words. It had been the same for him, except that he was expected to kill her personally by his parents, and no money. Expected to use a jagged and unsharpened dagger which had been passed down and used to murder many of his families enemies. He didn't know nearly as much about her as she knew about him. But he had always been shown poor quality security camera footage of her and told to kill her at all costs. Seal Man looked her in the eye again. She leaned over into his left ear. So quiet he barely understood. "Do you really want to kill me? The only people we have ever known is each other. We both grew up fearing and admiring each other. We peered at each other through those Tv's, loving and hating what we saw." She returned her head to it's first position, then got even closer. 3 cm, 2 cm. She closed her eyes, and tilted her head. 1 cm. Soon enough, their lips were barely touching. Seal Man gently rested his hands on her back, and Pistolet's perfect lips pressed against Seal's. After a while, Pistolet rolled off of him and onto the open space on the bed beside him. She opened up the general issue hospital blanket and slid inside. But no innappropriate things would happen, Lolita would murder you for that kind of thing. Plus, it would just be disgusting. She gave Seal Man a big hug, and rested her head on his shoulder. A single tear came to both of their eyes, and both wiped it way from the other. They both thought. finally, a friend. Someone I can trust. No more backstabbing, no more dying, no more arguments. Even if I am betrayed in those arms, I will be fulfilled. Simply enjoying the present, not worrying about a bullet being lodged in my head. Finally. A friend… Seal Man fell asleep, as did Pistolet. For them, this was where paradise truly was.
