The teacher entered the class , we settled in our seats

" I have an important announcement to make. " Our teacher said everyone became silent

"I am resigning from the school , so this will be the last week , I will be teaching you all." She said , everyone was shocked no one was able to say anything

"So let's make this last week wonderful , shall we ." She said . Now a few students stood up , one of the students asked

"Why are you leaving the school ."

"Because I got a better job in the nearby university." She answered , well this was to be expected a person will obviously leave a job because of a better job where the money is higher . I got a little sad thinking about her leaving , at one point everyone have to leave I thought .

"What about after that mam , who will be our class teacher than ?" A student asked

" A teacher was hired recently will be taking over this class , I think he will be joining us on this coming Monday i.e. on my last day ." She answered

"What is this teacher's name ? "I asked

" Mason , Mason helix ..I think " She answered

"What !" Bess shot up after hearing the name

"Keep your voice down Bess " Warned teacher

"Sorry , for that teacher, that is...... I was just shocked " Bess explained

"What Bess wants to say is that we know the teacher that is coming in ." I explained

" Is that so , who is he to you" Ellie asked from behind of course she'd be interest if someone knew this new teacher , by the way Ellie is the informer of the class, if you want any information about anyone she is the one to go too . Since she knows many people's secrets too, she often ends up alone , but since she came in this class I have been a good friend to her . So, we get along very well , she thinks I am interesting and had been fishing for more information about my past but , there's no one here that knows about my past so , we have become some kind of warm enemy and friends .

I smiled and answered " He is a family friend." I answered

"Is that so how did he become your family friend " Ellie asked fishing for more

"His family used to live in our neighbor , but since we moved this will be the first time I will be meeting him." I answered

"So , where did you used to live ." Ellie asked noting something down in a notepad

"Now , all of you please be seated , I am leaving doesn't mean that I will not teach for the rest of the week." Teacher said , thanks to her Ellie was not able to ask any more questions regarding my past. We all soon settled in our seats and teacher started teaching there was some resistance at first but all of us made teacher angry and it was not good to make her angry . She punished us all , even though some of us were studying

Bess still was unable to calm down , hearing that mason was coming here . Mason used to lived in the neighborhood when I was little , Bess has not met with mason yet she is excited because I used to talk about mason when I first moved here and told her about my past . You could say mason was the one who suggested we move and he helped me through that incident . Alex does not know about mason , It'd never come up with him . Actually I have been keeping it from because if I told him about mason I am scared that I would also speak about my past . Enough of the past , I need to move forward .

"Kate , finally I will be able to meet this man you always used to talk about ." She said

"Whoa hold on Bess you are talking about mason as if you like him ." I said , she didn't respond at all , could she like mason and James both , but I saw how she acts like when she talks to James , but there is also that whenever I used to talk about mason she'd grew quiet and listen with a smile . Maybe at that time she used to feel happiness for me that I had a happy portion of the past also.

"I don't think so Kate , I mean of course I like this man but I don't think it is in that way cause I have never met him and only heard of him through you . So , don't jump to any conclusion ." She said finally after thinking it through. I closed my eyes as expected she gave me this answer . I need to stop setting up her with everyone or she will get irritated of me .

"Sorry about that I was just trying to look out for you ." I said truthfully

"Thanks for looking out for me Kate . " She said . We both grew silent , I concentrated on my studies as always they provided the perfect escape from the problems. I studied diligently that is why I always used to come first in class but since Alex came I have been coming in second and boy i always regretted that . Since he have become my boyfriend I need to study hard and beat him . How does he always get first ? I thought but soon pushed all the things aside and studied like there is no tomorrow . After all I need to divert my attention as I won't be able to meet up with Alex till this Saturday.
