When I reached the school next day I met an angry Bess, she had her cheeks puffed , blushing slightly .She looked so cute. I was smiling when I reached to her .

"Kate you are here finally. "She squealed

"What is it ? " I asked smiling

"Why would you do that yesterday ?" She asked

"What did I do yesterday ?" I asked playing innocent

"You know what you did yesterday " She said angrily

" I don't know what you are talking about Bess" I said still feigning innocence

"Why did you set me up with James?" She finally asked the direct question

"Didn't you enjoy that?" I asked

"That is not the matter here." She said

"For me it is , did you or did you not enjoy that ." I asked looking at my serious face she couldn't lie

"Yes , I enjoyed that but-"I cut her off

"Then , if I set you up with James its no problem , is it ?" I asked

" No , it is a problem , I didn't want that ." She said

"Are you sure Bess because I saw you talking to James , Blushing ! " I said emphasizing on Blushing . Hearing this Bess covered her cheeks

"What !? , I was blushing that time , I couldn't notice , I was so engrossed talking to him I couldn't notice it myself ." She said exasperated I laughed outright

"Oh ! Bess you are so in love ." I said between laughs

"Love!? " repeated Bess

"Yes! Love." I told her again

"How is that possible , we just met yesterday ? " She asked , I hugged her

"That is the beauty of love it can happen anytime , finally you have found someone you love . I am so glad for you ." I said

" What do you think is he also in love with me? " She asked

" This can only be answered by James or I can ask Alex for some input " I answered

"Please ask him then Kate , like now ." She requested

"You mean through bond don't you ? " I asked for conformation

"Yes " She replied quickly

"Bess , I don't know how this bond works fully , I don't know if I could ask a question through it . " I said unsure

" Please just try once . " She pleaded

"Ok , ok " I said and she grew happy and silent .

I closed my eyes , calmed my mind . I can't really explain how but , when I thought that I wanted to pass a message to Alex , suddenly I could hear his thoughts , they were mainly revolving around the thought of what if something happened to me .

' Alex, can you hear me ' I asked hoping it would reach him

'Kate , yes I am listening , what is it ' He asked totally worried

'I am fine , I just need to ask do you think James may be in love with Bess? ' I asked

'Yes he is head over heels for her , when he came back from dropping Bess all he could talk about was Bess , what do you think is she in love with him too ? ' He asked I laughed didn't know if I laughed in real or not but Alex read my happiness and asked

' Bess is also in love with James , In fact I wanted to ask you if Bess had a chance with James .' I said and I could feel Alex laughing or feeling happiness

'So , what should we do now?' He asked

' Maybe we should wait and see how they progress , without disturbing them much and maybe sometimes we set them up ' I said happiness radiating through me

'You are enjoying teasing them aren't you ?' Alex asked

'You bet I am , this is the only chance in my lift to tease Bess' I said

'God ! I love you so much ' Alex said

'I love you too ' I said and opened my eyes breaking the concentration I had , Bess was looking at me her face full of expectations

"So ?" She asked

"So , what ? " I asked teasing her

"Come on Kate out with it , what did Alex said ? " She asked impatient

" Alex said he can't really tell because James has been quiet since he came back from dropping you " I said lying , Bess became quiet

" Hey , maybe he is thinking about you that is why he has been quiet ." I suggested

"Maybe " Bess said with upturned eyes , she looked double cute when she is sad .

"Why don't you confess and find out if James like you or not ." I suggested, she immediately turned red

" No , of course not , what if rejected me ?" She asked

" Then you can always become friends ." I said

" Think Kate , what if Alex would have rejected you , could you have become friends with him ?" She asked I thought for some time and reached the same conclusion that she did

"No , it would have been impossible because my feelings might have posed problems" I said

"See and you say to become friends" She said

"Listen Bess , if you don't confess you will never find out about what his feelings are about you , I know it is difficult but you have to or he may be snatched by another girl in this classroom ." I said Bess listened carefully

" But what if he rejects me ? " He asked again

"If he rejects you Bess than you will have to live with it , nothing could be done about it then , but if you see on the bright side that if you confess and he accepts than just how happy you could get ." I said , she nodded

" You are right Kate , I will look for the opportunity then and confess." she answered

" Don't be hasty , go at your own pace ." I said . Bell cut off us any further conversation was impossible now .
