** this is thinking
( ) if has mine or Jay's name in it, we're just giving our honest opinions at the time
Also if there are no names in it, it means they are the thoughts of that person's thoughts not mine
And.......I don’t exist in this story but merely doing a fourth wall commentary chatting with Jay and maybe a few others as I go along
Chapter 12 - Blood
Daymon’s POV
This bitch, how dare she call my dick a 2 inch dick. I was seething with anger at her that I attacked her; I will kill this bitch before she can tell anyone the REAL reason behind that incident 8,000 years ago
I drew close to Melody maintaining my ‘X’ sword formation in front of me and swung my left sword at her leg with my right aiming for her head. She countered by materializing her famed staff ‘Wise Wood’ and blocked my attack which I predicted she would do against my famed ‘Sun and Moon’ long swords.
I then pinned her staff by infusing energy into the swords that will be inseparable like a magnet is with metal unless you have more energy than me to separate which Melody doesn’t have. Once done, I threw my swords along with her staff away and started to cast my ultimate magic ‘Oblivion’ this magic is similar to Sei’s special magic ‘Shatter’ with only one difference, ‘Shatter’ cracks the space around the target whereas ‘Oblivion’ distort and warp the target away like a black hole. The magic usage is enormous; if I don’t cast it properly I will waste 75% of my magic for nothing that is why I chose to close the gap to increase my chance of hitting her.
Noticing what I am planning, Melody retreats back and cast what I suspect is her special ‘Plane Intervention’ a spell that is another space magic, this magic involves borrowing powers from the God plane who you have made contract with. Since I never let her have a chance to charge up, most likely she’ll only be able to utilize only 20% of the spell when I finish charging mine up
What felt like an eternity watching each other as we charge up, I finally finished my magic and slammed my palms into the ground. With me as the epicentre most of the floor got consumed by the darkness with faint azure colours swimming around, I stopped the spread and draw the darkness back into my palm. I shot the compressed darkness towards Melody with such speed that it shocked her as I saw her hastily casted her magic

I couldn’t help but smirk because being hasty is the same as killing yourself
“NOOOOOO”
Huh? I looked at Sei who was screaming. Why are you screaming for? I thought until her next scream answered my question
******
In the Hall is a lone boy sleeping on the floor, a piece of wood is hanging ever so fragile swaying left and right until a mini-earthquake shakes the Hall. The wood dangling in the air finally snaps off and drops on the boy
*WHACK*
“Argh…that fucken hurt”
Jay whispered as he slowly open his eyes as he rubbed his forehead
“Huh? Where’s ooooohh”
When he fully woke up, he got up and noticed the Hall was devoid of people. He was about to voice a question when his balls throbbed painfully and rubbed his balls hoping it’ll lessen the pain from Sei’s recent death grip.
“Shit, I forgot that I almost lost my balls”
He shivered when he remembered the pain; from that day onwards he promised himself that he will avoid Sei at all cost. After rolling around clutching his balls, he stopped when the Hall underwent another shaking which scared him
“What the hell is happening? I better..”
*BOOM*
Something crashed against the shield of the Hall, protecting it from harm. Unfortunately the shield didn’t protect against the aftershock as it hit Jay, sending him flying across the Hall. He slammed against the wall as he coughed up blood
“*Cough* what the hell happened?”
Bewildered, he cautiously walked across the Hall to find out what is happening outside. Once outside he was dumbfounded at what he saw, sparks flying, various shades of lights blazing across the sky, explosion in the air, ginormous horse whisker looking army beasts fighting against a jade looking cat army that covered the whole sky with dark line appearing wherever the claws of the cat clash with the hoofs of the horse. Rubbing his eyes like he can’t believe the spectacle happening before him, he shut the door
“I must be dreaming, yes that’s it. There is no way that is real”
Deny all you want, the spectacle is certainly real
Jay took a long deep breath and turned around to open the door to see if anything changed. Before he could open the door, something slammed through the door, Jay who was behind the door was pushed back along with the unknown object that impacted him in the stomach

Jay slammed against the pillar behind him; he immediately coughed 3x with blood spilling out every time. He swore he heard something snapped and prayed that no bone of his is broken as he struggled against the intense pain from trying to move whatever was on his stomach aside and tried to breathe properly because blood was blocking his throat and nose. After much struggle, he managed to clear his throat and nose of blood blockage.
He tried after 5 minutes of pain racking all over his body to stand. When he turned to look at what smashed into him, he saw a man’s body missing the lower torso
“So that’s what hit me, a freaking dead body”
Jay stopped moving when he heard glass shattering sounds from outside, what followed after is a sudden explosion of sounds that Jay is all too familiar of, the noise of war
The reason why Jay didn’t hear anything except now even though he was watching a war happening, is because of the shield surrounding the Hall cancelling all noise and any magic that is lower than the grade of the shield until it shattered.
Sounds of explosion after explosion, large whistling sounds made by fast movement, people cries and beast roars one after the other echoed in Jay’s ear. Jay covered his ears due to his ears not being able to handle the pressure from the echo of war
“Shit, this is just my fucken day”
He cursed his day and wished he killed himself in the field after he pissed on Grant. Jay suddenly stood up and ignored the pain when he remembered that ‘Grant’ is alive
“I have sworn a blood oath that we shall kill Grant even if it meant our deaths. I cannot forget my oath”
With that goal in mind, Jay walked outside like nothing is wrong with him and searched the sky for his target. As he was searching, he couldn’t help but curse his luck because he can’t find Grant anywhere and he knows the only way to find him is by running around, dodging whoever wasn’t wearing grey robes.
30 minutes of constant near deaths such as near-death slashes made by masked men, explosion sending him flying, the sky raining swords every now and then. 30 minutes of constant searching with his target not in sight has filled his stomach with seething rage
*WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?*
As he was busy searching around for Grant, he failed to notice a Kirin who got kicked by a Qilin, flying towards his back which slammed behind his back sending them both flying into the mausoleum
*Kah*
As both were sliding across the marbled floor, they finally stopped with the Kirin’s body lying atop Jay’s body
Jay lay flat on the floor as he struggled with the massive body of the Kirin on his back that is slowly crushing him. The more he struggled, the more he started to lose consciousness as Death whispered temptation to him that death is a better choice
Come~~
Sleep~~
Don’t struggle darling~~~
NOO!
BROTHER DO NOT FORGET WHO YOU ARE!
Ignore them~~~
YOU ARE THE LAST OF US, DO NOT DISAPPOINT US
Sleep, I’ll be sure to love you~~~
GRANT IS STILL ALIVE
GRANT IS STILL ALIVE
This sentence sent thunder through Jay’s mind, breaking him free from Death’s temptations
This shall not be the last you hear of me~~~
An almost inaudible faded away as it whispered in Jay's mind, which he didn't notice
“That’s right! The bastard is still ALIVE”
As he awakened with newfound resolved, he noticed that the Kirin felt light as a feather compared to before and push it off. As he did so, he heard a low growl from the Kirin. He backed away staring daggers at the massive body
H
e slowly walked around to look at the beast. Entranced at this unknown beast fierce look, Jay couldn’t help but get closer to the face scanning every detail on his face. When he was 10 cm from the face, he was caught completely unaware as the beast lunged at him pinning Jay on the ground with the beast on top
“ROOOOOAAAARRRRR”
The beast roared in Jay’s face as a small scroll dropped out of its mouth and rolled near Jay's head who in his shock didn't notice it, then it stopped and slumped on top of him with the Kirin’s wound under its neck from its battle prior to crashing into Jay, poured out blood all over Jay’s body causing a violent reaction from the Kirin’s blood invading his body
“ARRRGGGHH”
