《HoneyComb》Beeautiful base
Advertisement
A week has passed, and I have created the most beautiful base ever. It has air conditioning due to the ice walls (permanent), a nice lovely tree in the center (also permanent) and the final touch is 2 flowers (required).
Though I said it was perfect I had to make modifications to the wall… I didn't realize hexagons can't be made with zigzag, so I tore it down and rebuilt it, this time making individual hexagons next to each other, it only took 4 hours to rebuild.
And something strange happened, the large flower started to wrap around the tree and slightly merge with it. Strange, but it looks cool. Also I did the floor and made a roof, almost.
For the floor, I removed all the grass, it was absolutely horrible to remove, but I concluded that the grass made the snow, how else would it be there? Then I used my ice laser to make a nice ice flooring, but it took two days to do. I plan to use stone flooring eventually though.
The roof… not really a roof, I just kinda made a roof in the corners while leaving the rest empty. I couldn’t fill the whole roof because the snow would just crumble before even reaching the tree.
Not only did I add some stuff to the base, I made a new trap, I call it the… spicy honey trap? Prickly honey trap?
The prickly honey trap, I did this by finding stones then put them in the forest far away from my base, like extremely far. I then placed a blob of honey on it, but there’s tiny needles I collected from trees in it. So when they eat it, their mouth will be filled with pain, and potentially cause internal bleeding if swallowed.
There are only twelve of them due to the lack of stone, though I’m not sure there’s even anything that will fall for the trap, after all, I haven’t seen anything for over a week.

I hope I didn’t waste that honey… but I did find out how to make beeswax! Though it’s different from how regular bees do it. I need to flap my wings quickly at an angle to heat up my abdomen, then, I use some kind of organ under my abdomen that’s a rectangle. After a bit the organ starts turning sugar into beeswax and starts releasing as a solid, or something like jello, then it hardens due to the heat from my wings.
Man, making beeswax is tiring, having to flap my wings like this and trying to use an organ I never had before, and it uses sugar which causes me to lose some energy. But I did gain a skill, it was called hive construction, strange.
The skill doesn't do anything noticeable, it also confuses me, from what I see there are only physical and magic skills due to the two point types, so what would hive building be? It's probably not magic, but physical wouldn't make sense either, though I don't know what physical skills do, are, and how they work.
And the whole status thing bothers me, I can't open a status thing, nor can i use any points except for the time when it was automatically used on the ice magic skill. This is boring, I wish this was more like a game, oh well, I already died and don't feel like dying again.
Well, that's really it with my base, I could've done more but I was stuck in my thoughts, the only reason I was able to do anything was the random beeping every time I drift off… Is that what the beep is for!? Some kind of anti-lazy bee thing!?
Forget it, a lazy bee is a dead bee anyways… in my case at least.

Now that my base is slightly fortified I think I have some free time, and I seem to have my base memorized so it's really easy to find, though I don't remember getting a finding skill or something.
Now time for my vacation after a week of work, which I definitely deserved. Because I can find my base easy I'll be looking around for a bit, I wish there was more to do here. I could create a honeycomb later, then fill it with honey to pass the time.
Vacation… I can't fish because there's no lake nearby, and because I'm in a winter wonderland. I could explore, but I've already been doing that. I can sleep, but that's boring.
…
I could make more room, like, cut trees down, but I'm not sure… life sucks now, I rather go to school and go home to play video games instead of this, oh well.
*Snap!*
What? Oh, right, I had traps… I caught something?
I start flying towards the trap where I heard the sound come from, wondering what could be in it, and what stupid thing fell for my poorly hidden trap
