《HoneyComb》Ch1-This is gonna bee a buzz

Hmm… something seems off… not the lack of intro of course, but the fact I’m in some kind of plastic bag.
Well I think it’s plastic at least, it's stretchy, I think. Oh, I can't move. Maybe I should panic. Am I kidnapped?! … there’s not much to panic about, after all, I’m just in a bag, I think.
I kinda feel like goo, am I jello? I’m kinda hungry now… I seem to be perfectly fine not breathing… This is uncomfortable, especially how I’m reacting. I know I’m always calm but this is too calm… oh well. I’ll try squirming a bit.
Uhh, no move, just sit, Okay. My vision is strange too, it's kinda blocky, who downgraded the definition for my eyes? I don’t like this, it’s like I’m playing Terraria, but in 3d-2d
Goo goo goo, what to do? I don’t know, how about you? Hmm, oh, something has entered my Terraria Vision… oh, it’s a bee, but white with gray stripes, I think. I must be a bee too so I see colors differently, and that’s probably why things look strange with compound eyes.
Hmm, colors seem normal, maby, oh well. The bee crawls over to me and sticks out its tongue to feed me. Of course, I'm not gonna be picky, so I extended my own bee tongue to start the ritual of trophallaxis.
Hmm, I wish I could taste this, or not… I never tried honey before. Wait, this should be royal jelly, or… how old am I? I don't know much about bees but after a while they stop feeding royal jelly. So I do wish I could taste this.
The bee stops feeding me and wanders to the next grub nearby, leaving me lonely again, sad. Could you come back? I'm lonely.
I may be a pupia, I may be a bit squishy but I'm mostly solid, so I should become an adult soon. I could rush it and bust my way out, but it could be dangerous for me and cause problems for my exoskeleton.

I'll wait, i'm not a patient person, or bee, i'll sleep then, or tempor, I rather sleep.
…
Somethings hitting my head, oh my babysitter, hello. Is it feed time? Or are you here to help me hatch? Oh, feed time.
So we start trophallaxis once more then my babysitter goes to another bee, I think she is, I'm in a hexagon hole, can only see upwards. I'll try getting out now, I know I said I'll wait but it seems my exoskeleton is developed.
I start wiggling my way out and put out two of my legs and start crawling out.
Eh, my exoskeleton is really stiff, oh, it's breaking.
One of my babysitter bees spots me and crawls quickly towards me and peels off my exoskeleton. Wait, is it an exoskeleton? No? Oh, she's eating it. Okay, cannibalism is cool, yep.
When all the exoskeleton is off and eaten the bee turns and goes to a pupia and starts feeding it. Wait wa? Anyways…
I turn my head to look at my body, which isn't hard because of my 180 view. Oh, I fell. This is kinda sickening, good thing I can't puke. But I'm a fluffy bee, thank God I'm not a hornet or wasp, the demon of bee kind.
Time To spend the rest of my life collecting honey. Or am I a male? That would be a horrible life, oh, I got a stinger, I'm a female, not a drone. Hmm, I wanna be a male, I wouldn't have to exist only to mate.
I wonder if my wings work, they obviously do, but I wonder if I can use them without bee instinct. Oh, I can, it's just very awkward.
*bzzz*
*Thump*
Ow, wings are hard to use, especially when you end up only using one wing somehow. Let’s try to use both this time.

*bzzz* *bzzz*
*Thump*
I used both, just not so good. I put too much weight forward and slammed head first into the ground. Should I even bee making thump sounds? I shouldn’t bee that heavy, or is it just my intenea making it sound loud? (Puns intended)
My intenea… I hear with them, feel vibrations, and probably other stuff, this is too much information for my little human bee brain. Oh well, time to make honey I guess.
I know a tiny bit about how bees make honey so this shouldn’t be a problem.
*bzzz* *bzzz*
Hey, look at that, t crashI didn't crash It’s bee time, but man this is tiring. And I don’t know where to go. And are bees' nests supposed to be this big on the inside? The roof is like 20x the height of me.
Welp, time to explore. The current area I was in was a giant sphere with many holes leading out into the rest of the nest.
Okay, uh,that hole then. The hole I chose was at the very top of the nest, so this might be a challenge.
I started flying upwards towards the hole with very little ease, I almost died a few times from my wings randomly stopping. Do you know how hard flapping wings are? It’s like growing another arm and trying to wave it non stop without ever using it before.
It’s very difficult, okay?
Eventually I reached the hole and flew into it, because the tunnel was small I ended up slamming into the roof and fell onto the ground of the tunnel, it went straight up then sideways so I was fine.
I decided to crawl the rest of the way, bumping into other crawling bees, but they didn’t care. Then the tunnel suddenly went straight up.
I love this architect, totally navagateable. Insect power time.
I started crawling up the wall with my claws, and just like flying, there were many mistakes. Not grabbing hard enough? Guess you're falling. Is your weight too much for your legs? Too bad!
Luckily I saw a light at the end of the hallway, literally. There was a white light at the end of the tunnel.
This must be the outside, then where I was born Is definitely not the center of the nest. It’s too close to the outside.
I reach the end of the tunnel and crawl out, blinding myself. Too bad eyelids don’t exist.
Bright… oh a chilly breeze, that’s nic- holy…
When my thousands of bee eyes adjusted I could finally see the winter wonderland I was in, it was beautiful, but that’s not what surprised me. It was that the nest was huge! I was towering over the trees while standing on the nest.
Also there were bees as big as trees! What’s this? My bee sisters, Maybe you should take up a diet?

The book of forever
An experimental diary of sorts recounting my life and experiences, written as a slightly whimsical scifi story about setting off from the past to unknown lands, rebuilding from nothing and finding myself again. The first section of the book contains matched chapters, a chapter for a interlude, both happening at the same time roughly The second section of the book contains more one off stories as we follow one of the travelers explore their heart as well as a unknown land, growing in the process. All of the text here was written in 10 syllable chunks, this reads like a epic of sorts, just with more philosophical focus and POV jumps. Hope you enjoy! >Updates may be sporadic as I only write when I have something about myself I want to share The chapters can all be read individually, although there may be some crossovers between them they work as single poems. You start at whatever chapter you want since these are a collection of roughly connected poems (although you'll notice tie ins and references to eachother)
