***THEO***
*Groan*
A young man, seemingly 16 years of age. Groaned as he stood up and jumped off of the bed. Putting his hand on his head as he looked around the room, he said “What the hell am I doing here…”
“All I remember is becoming that spirits(Hilda) master…” he murmured to himself
“Yo! Finally up I see.” Arciens voice, which came out of nowhere startled him as he jumped with a shriek.
“For fucks sake… tone it down a little.” Said Theo as he looked around his body for injuries, finding another sword tattoo on his right arm, he took a deep breath.
“So, what happened while I was unconscious.”
“Well, I figured it’d be bad if I left you there, so I took over your body while you were unconscious and moved you here.”
“Thanks” though he might have said thanks, he was slowly getting wary of Arcien. ‘Taking over my body when I’m unconscious? He can do that? What. The. Fuck?’ he thought. As he made his way to the door.
On his way out, he met an unfamiliar face. Locking eyes with the boy with snow white hair, the boy said “’Sup” as Theo’s eyes widened.
Having remembered the voice Theo said “Guinea pig?” these words seemed to have flipped a switch as Theo felt a cold, murderous aura suddenly burst from the boy.
Cold sweat running through his back, he sighed as the aura was slowly withdrawn. ‘This kid… how’d he get such an oppressive aura?’ he thought. Unbeknownst to him the white haired boy’s thoughts were also in turmoil. ‘What the hell was that? I almost punched him! What the hell is wrong with me? What’s with this irresistible urge to hurt somebody!’

Gritting his teeth, he spoke “How about introduce ourselves properly.” Stretching out his hand, he continued, “I’m Kimura, I like reading, gaming and anime”
With the word “anime” Theo’s eyes widened as he finally met a possible friend, he shook his hand as he spoke “Theo, I love anime and reading” he said with enthusiast as he disregarded the thought of why he has such an aura and what happened to him.
‘yep definitely an otaku, he seems like a nice guy though.’ Thought Kimura.
“So, where’re you going?” Theo asked.
“Not sure, I was planning on looking for the others and heading to the dungeon though.”
Letting out a sigh in his mind Theo thought that going to the dungeon without practicing or any prior knowledge about dungeon diving was reckless. Nevertheless, he smiled as he said: “Sure, I’ll come with.”
Getting lead by Kimura, they were chatting along the way. Questions about favorite books and anime were flying about. Suddenly Theo noticed something as he tapped Kimura’s shoulder.
“Do you have any idea, where we are supposed to go? Because this is the fourth time I saw that knight statue.” He said as he pointed at the Knight Statue brandishing it’s sword.
Turning around with a forced smile, Kimura said: “Of course, there are just multiple statues in this castle… Yea…”
“…” luckily, a maid passed by. Theo called out to her and asked her where the others are. The maid told them which way to go, nodding to the maid, they continued their journey.
....
…..
……
“For god’s sake, were lost again aren’t we…” Theo said as the very same maid from before passed by and sent them a look of wonder.
Requesting the maid to lead the way, the maid happily nodded her head.

…
“Whoo! FINALLY! WE’RE FREEEEEE!” shouted Theo as he skipped about in the castle’s training ground, where everyone else were either sparring or practicing their blades on dummies.
Kimura said thanks to the maid as he dismissed her. Only then did he notice everyone wasn’t looking at the eccentric that was skipping, but on him. Every now and then he would hear whispers of him.
“Who is he? He looks like kaneki ken…”(AN: kudos to slayerssky123 for noticing that xD)
“Weeaboo?”
“Maybe a new teacher?”
Though the second whisper almost drove him to kill once again, he was able to suppress it, Everyone was astonished as Theo called out his name to ask for a spar session.
“Yo~ Keee-muuuu~raaaa, lets spaaaaar!~ loser has to wear his underwear on his head for the day~!!!” shouted Theo as he was waving two wooden swords, though these look like the couldn’t kill and were practically harmless, it would surely hurt to be struck by one without proper equipment.
Everyone laughed as they remembered that Kimura had the title “Guinea Pig” and thought that Theo would win with ease.
Kimura grinned as he ran to Theo and spoke “You’re on!”

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

Beta Test
I'm sure I'm in for some colorful criticism, But if even a few people enjoy this, I'd be happy. As of right now the story is set in Delaware around 2005'ish'. A young man from the streets, aquires a beta test invitation in an unorthodox way. The plan is to have a comical adventure in an experimental virtual reality game. I can easily transition it to a full story if its well received. If not I hope atleast one person kinda likes it. P.s. This is a work of fiction, with made up characters. Any likeness is coincidence.

The Only Survivor
I want revenge. However, to get revenge, I need information. And for information, I need answers. Yet to get answers, I need power. But for power, I need to survive. They made a grave mistake leaving me alive and locking me in a dungeon cell. They will live to regret it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a story in a fantasy world with lots of fantastical elements, including magic and cultivation. However, there's also some decent technology in this world. Gaining power has a system and nothing comes out of nowhere. Essentially, the setting and background is high fantasy but the focus will be whatever the MC sees, so expect more of a gritty realistic low fantasy most of the time. The MC is not OP and uses his wits and strategy to survive, and maybe even thrive. The warning tags are just there because I don't want any limits to where this story may lead me to writing. *I don't own the cover*
