AN: sorry guys, been swarmed with requirements lately, we have tests next week. Just recieved my student progress report... and i had tons of "D"s so... yea. i've been having headaches these past few days so sorry if this chap isn't that much to your liking. I apologize for any screw-ups within this chapter... well onto the chapter
“You’re on!”
Kimura spoke as he dashed over to Theo. Gripping his wooden sword which came from who-knows-where. Seeing the wooden sword, Theo reluctantly discarded the other one he took for Kimura.
Standing on each side of the platform, Theo readied his battle stance, same with Kimura, but Kimura still had no battle experience whatsoever. Because of this, Theo can easily spot many errors regarding Kimura’s stance.
Around these two competitors were the classmates, each of them, having discussions of their own.
“Are they really going to do this?”
“Well then, Good luck… GUINEA PIG”
“Wanna bet on who wins this little spar of theirs?”
Theo ignored them as he spoke with a hint of arrogance hidden within his tone. “Are you ready?”
Sweating a bit, Kimura nodded. As soon as Kimura looked in front of him, Theo was there… just a few more metres in front of him. Theo’s wooden sword suddenly flashed as Kimura sensed a feeling of danger.
Instinctively, Kimura slashed down with his wooden sword, meeting with Theo’s sword. Just then, Kimura felt a strange energy being drained from him.
‘Strange’ he thought
*CRACK*
A loud cracking noise resounded as every onlooker held their breath, staring at the platform. Their eyes, as wide as can be.
Kimura had actually snapped Theo’s wooden sword in half!
Just now, when Theo neared him. Kimura had actually utilized mana and hardened the woodened sword. Naturally his control over mana wasn’t as strong, thus, being unable to sharpen the wooden sword’s edge.

Theo was shocked as well. Even though they had been here for almost a week now, none of these kids should have any knowledge how to manipulate mana at all.
‘Interesting’ he thought, ‘even though I only used less than 1% of my power, that much should at least be enough to kill a normal human’ with this, Kimura should be able to withstand 5% right?
Using Creation magic, Theo had made two more wooden swords, during his free time, Theo had been studying the Creation magic his father imparted to him, and right now, his mastery over the technique would be 80%.
Naturally these two wooden swords were more durable, probably even harder than iron swords.
Theo threw the wooden sword towards kimura as he brandished his sword once more. Kimura as well, caught the sword. Yet as soon as he gripped it, the sword felt heavier, much more durable and it was as if the sword’s grip was tailor made for his hand… and he wasn’t wrong, Theo made this one for Kimura.
Once again, Theo dashed towards Kimura. Slashing downwards, Theo used 5% of his strength. Kimura once more met his blade, yet this time, Theo’s blade was much heavier. Slowly kimura’s arms were giving up on him.
Just as he was about to let Theo hit him, a sudden surge of power hit him, yet accompanying this power was a eerie voice. “Kill him.”
‘Who are you?’ Kimura said. The voice didn’t answer his question, but still kept speaking. “Boy, if you want to win, Embrace the darkness and kill him.” the voice faded as the surge of power stopped, slowly his head became dizzy has his eyes lost their light.
Truly he wanted to win. He wanted to prove that he just wasn’t a “guinea pig”. ‘I want power, I want to win, I want to be peerless under the heavens’ these were his last words as his eyes grew distant and lifeless.

Theo was once again startled. As soon as he found Kimura’s arm loosening, Kimura once again released a baleful aura. Aura so dense one could almost grab onto it.
Immediately, Theo grew more wary. Stepping back a few meters, Theo gazed at Kimura’s eyes. These eyes terrified him as he found them to be cold and lifeless and didn’t contain a hint of Kimura’s usual lively and bright eyes.
This time, Kimura was the one who charged towards Theo. Theo raised his sword as he fended off Kimura’s sword. Theo once again increased his power output to 50% as he noticed that this cold and distant Kimura had a huge boost in power.
Theo was knocked a few meters back and tried to regain his balance. Only after fixing himself has he noticed that Kimura was about to land another hit on him. Theo immediately raised his sword to block. Yet with this block, he noticed that kimura was once again becoming more powerful, activating mana sense, he noticed that kimura had actually Increased his bodily strength using mana.
Theo instantly raised his power output to max as his pupils instantly contracted, comparable to that of a needle’s head. Kimura once more dashed towards him, but this time much slower. Theo now had more confidence as he sprinted towards him and enhanced himself further with C.E.
Kimura, slashed with his sword, but was met with an extremely overbearing force. Retreating a few steps backwards, he noticed Theo was once more in front of him.
‘I have to end it here’ thought Theo as he thought he should probably question him about this later.
*BANG*
With one smack of Theo’s sword, Kimura was sent flying. Theo immediately ran over, finding kimura knocked unconscious, laying sprawled on the floor.
*sigh* lifting up Kimura, he brought him towards his room and waited.
“Today was quite exhilarating. I should rest for now, with the amount of force I put in that hit, he should be out for a couple of hours.”
And with that he fell asleep on his chair. Awakening to a space very familiar to him, along with an annoying carefree voice.
“Yo! It’s been a while!”
“We have got lots of things to talk about…” he clearly had to question him about this “only one of his kind” claim, where he had embarrassed himself in front of his own spirit

Returning to No Applause, Only More of the Same
Kreig was summoned to the other world 130 years ago, the last 30 of which were spent in a constant, vengeful war against any army that would attempt to subjugate him. Once he returned, he found out that only 10 years had passed. He was given the title of War of the North but he never even knew about it. After all, nobody could get close enough to tell it to him. But that all changes one day when a portal opens, allowing Kreig and a small band of soldiers to enter one of many portals that leads to Earth. As it turns out these portals have been opening ever since he was summoned, giving the people of Earth abilities that the world he was summoned to only used to have. But now... now, he has returned. Longing for his former life of peace and understanding, he allows authorities to capture him on the spot, only to be faced with deeply personal questions, such as "who are you?" "what have you been doing for the past 10 years?" and "why is your level so high?" -------- ...Have you ever read a story where the main guy who got isekai'd returns to Earth. Say, for example, FFF-class trashhero or the necromancer of Seoul station? Say, what if the authorities actually became aware what kind of monster had returned to Earth? What if they actually tried to use them for something? Kreig's been in the other world for 130 years, has experienced three great wars, and he isn't okay. Mentally speaking, that is. He's been imprisoned, gained and lost comrades, been betrayed... The whole lot. By now, all he wants is to put it all behind him, something the world doesn't seem to want to let him. Daughters of the Void
Emily is a high school student. Too tall and developed for her age. Her will has been broken, so now, she is fearful and insecure. But that, doesn't explain why those around her bully and despise her. Perhaps... it is related to the dark and deep secret that she has inexplicably forgotten? What made her forget it? The strange being, with whom Emily once made a pact, intends to find out what has happened. To do so, will take her to a world terribly different from this one. Why does it take her to another world? Why did Emily forget what makes her different? Why the hell, all of a sudden, can Emily see three floating panels in the middle of the darkness? What is this? A video game with a lush green-eyed redhead as the main character? Daughters of the Void is a story told from multiple points of view, which occur in parallel. As if they were several series in one, where each protagonist advances at their own pace. At first, the story of each character will advance slowly, so I ask you to be patient. Soon, you will discover a story of extreme survival in a medieval fantasy world. A story, a bit dark, that can also be a bit comical at certain moments. But above all, it can be harsh and cruel to its protagonists. I’ve introduced LitRPG elements in a very soft and almost non-existent way at the beginning of the story. As the story progresses, they will become more and more abundant, depending on the protagonist. Emily is the main and first protagonist of "Daughters of the Void". After her; Dianna, Tanya and others. Above all, I’m looking for your immersion, so I will make you aware of most of the thoughts of the protagonists. I also want the reader to feel some uncertainty, putting yourselves in the shoes of some girls who can't find what they lack. I look for realism, but also to surprise myself. Around chapter 25 there is an awakening of the protagonists. Moment in which they will begin to behave as they really want to be. Unrivaled adventurers. Heroines of legend. The secondary protagonists were created to cover some deficiencies that I noticed that the series had when it was only Emily, so their chapters will be more sporadic. Tags and warnings give me creative freedom. This is the first story I've written, although they are not my first drawings. Be kind with your reviews. I know everything can be improved. Also, English is not my native language, neither is my brother's. He’s the one who translates the story. Constructive feedback is always welcome. We learn day by day. Everything helps us to improve the quality of this humble project. Let us know what you think.
