After a couple more have come no noises can be heard from the forest.
Okay, it seems everyone is here so what are they waiting for now?
"GRAAAARRR!!!" From the cave sounds a scream louder than most and then it cames out. A new one, this one taller, buffer, towering a head over the average, and twice as buff as any other. The others shuffle a bit and look at one another, then Buff starts running, to the one just in front of him... By this time there was a dozen others in a rough semi-circle shape and they all throw themselves at him.
"GRAAAAAAAAH!" Buff tackles the one it was after to the ground and bashes it's head in, then the two who were nearest to it's kneeling form jump and try to hold it's arms, try, because it just brings it's arms together and those two just get hit by each other and let it go, dazed, Buff then rises to it's feet and backhands the one trying to attack it from behind.
"Gyaaahg..."
"GRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHRRRR!!!!" It does a rage pose and stamps the head of the one that tried to ambush it.
Yep. That one's not getting up... It then picks up one of the headbutted ones from the ground and puts it's hands around it's neck slowly tightening. *crrraaaakk**crunch* As it let's the body fall to the ground it looks everyone slowly. Soooo... that's why they were waiting for more then. Now what? What are you all gonna do?
Then the ones remaining, all of them ones that were here when i came, start running, towards the cave. What? They should be smart enough to know that they lose the numerical advantage like that so why? Then Buff picks the one still in the ground dazed and hits it's head to the ground, one, two, three times, it then starts walking towards the cave. Once it's inside i get down and approach the cliff, the first to die has started to become fainter and fainter at an accelerated rate so i stop.

"GRAAaAARGHHHhHH!" Buff's screaming of pain? How did they manage to do it?
My focus immediately changes as the corpse in the ground turns so transparent only the borders are visible just before it turns in a grey ball the size of a marble and flyes away What the? Then the two remaining ones change and fly away too. Was that?"GRRAaaaghhh..." Buff? I turn around just in time to see three bloodied figures come out of the cave. One of them stops and looks at me just as the last one comes out cradling it's left arm. Then they scream at me.
"Gyaaaaa!" Oh shit, what do i do? I calulate the distance between me, them and the forest, and make a dash for that last one.
"GYAAAAH!" Shit! Climb, climb, climbclimbclimb. Once i am in one of the lower branches i turn around to see the first one start to climb the tree, the second follows but the third only has one working arm so it stays below and starts picking up rocks. Here they come.

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. You can also vote for it on Top Web Fiction and rate it on Web Fiction Guide. Member of The Order of Phantasmal Architects.

(This is my first novel, though the idea for it has been in the back of my mind for years, This is my attempt to put it to paper. Looking forward to any constructive criticism, however, i already have in mind, the entire plot and tone of the story, any revisions based on feedback will likely only be considered upon completion. As of now starting out, i haven't really settled on a timeline for regular updates But I aiming for at least two chapters a week at about 2000 words each. I will promise at least one chapter of that size at least once a week, until completion. I'm rather determined to put this story on paper ( or web page i guess).
