《Nephilim: Beyond Good and Evil》Chapter 43: Belial

Famine simply crawled his way over to Alvah. It was a frightening sight to see a being so exhausted and hungry that he would be reduced to a crawling state to fight. Alvah assumed he couldn't do much harm in his state and walked over to him.

Once he was close enough he bent down and moved his hand closer to him. As he did so the horseman quickly moved its jaws to try and bite Alvah's hand off only to phase through his body.

"Hmm." Famine was puzzled.

"Almost got me." Alvah said deeply.

Famine smiled and opened his mouth as wide as he could before he began to 'suck' which generated a strong wind which would start to cause the sand to blow into Famine's mouth. But, that wasn't the only thing he was sucking in.

Alvah's divine energy was also being devoured. His aura was shown being pulled into the mouth of the horseman. The Nephilim however didn't look too worried as his energy was being sapped.

"Does my energy fill you?"

Famine shook his head as he continued to drain Alvah in large quantities.

"I want to give you a feeling of satisfaction. I have an unlimited supply of energy. So we can do this all day."

Alvah glanced to his side as a yellow portal opened up and began to shoot out divine energy into him. He would then open up a few more portals around him which would begin to give him a larger supply of energy.

Famine simply watched as he continued to absorb the Nephilim's energy. He knew that a common thing which would usually happen is that the person draining the energy would become overcharged. Luckily, he was known as the bottomless pit for a reason.

No matter how much energy he had absorbed he wouldn't be satisfied and so this could go on forever. Was Alvah willing to wait that long? Famine had all the time in the world so he wasn't in any rush.

Alvah kept his composure, keeping an idle look as he continued to infuse himself with energy for Famine to absorb. If things went on this way it would end up in a stalemate which would last the rest of their lives.

"Getting tired?"

Famine shook his head as he kept his mouth wide open. The energy of a Nephilim tasted sweet and he began to crave it. A mixture of mortal and immortal an alluring combination. It added a taboo flavor to it.

Alvah had grown bored of this stalemate and decided to just end it here. At the bottom of Famine's feet was a large yellow portal which swallowed the endless hunger. He descended to a new dimension which was owned by Alvah.

In this dimension he was simply floating in empty space which appeared to be black until Alvah brightened it up.

"Welcome to my world."

The dimension was like space it was strange. Pitch black but litten up by stars. But, this wasn't a tour of the world. Famine was going to be destroyed by this world. Before he could react numerous portals opened up around him and began firing a stream of pure divine energy.

The blasts rammed into him, but it didn't seem to effect him.

"Is that all? Even here your energy won't harm me."

As Famine said this the portals began to form into absolutely sharp discs which spiraled out toward him and began to relentlessly carve into his body until his limbs began to fly off and blood squirted out. When Alvah was finished with him the horseman was nothing but pits and pieces floating around in empty space.

With his death came a large release of energy which erupted in the empty space. Once Alvah saw this he closed it off.

"Mission accomplished."

On the other hand, Raziela was beginning her battle with Conquest.

She remained in the air while Taru flew off directly toward the horseman. He clenched a fist as he slammed it into the harbinger of chaos. The punch didn't seem to have much effect and it caused the parasitic creatures to spew out and bite onto Taru.

"Hehehe. My parasites are going to invade your body and eat you out from the inside." Conquest mentioned.

"R-Raziela..." Taru muttered.

The parasites were digging their way inside of him until they were comfortable with the level of deepness. As they tried to eat him they released it was pointless. Taru smiled as he became intangible and caused them to fall out of him.

"You see. I'm just an Astral being. I can control my body to be physical or not."

"An Astral being? So you can't become a host for my parasites... but she on the other hand." Conquest said as he looked over at the Nephilim.

"Don't even look her way."

Conquest tried to leap over Taru, but his leg was grabbed and he was slammed down against the mountain which caused a shockwave of snow to spread out. Raziela watched from afar as the battle went on.

"Finish him quickly Taru."

"I will!"

Taru stared at Conquest who slowly got up and caused the parasite inside of his mouth to stretch out before it danced around Taru and went for Raziela. At the last moment he latched onto it and stopped it in its tracks.

"You don't get to touch her."

The parasite opened its mouth which caused a smaller one to fire out as it stretched out for Raziela. Taru knew he couldn't stop that one and knew he had failed to make sure she was safe. As it approached her a field of pink energy surrounded her and exploded the creature on contact.

"I'm disappointed, Taru."

"Sorry, I only have two hands."

Raziela formed twin sickles from her psychic energy and decided she'd finish Conquest herself. She flew down for his direction and began to spin forming a tornado of offense as she sliced into the horseman.

When she was finished the being fell to is knees with cuts and wounds everywhere. He coughed up blood before he slowly got up and turned around to face her.

"You think you have authority over me? You're just another conque-"

Taru grabbed onto the horseman's head and ripped it off. Blood was spilled and covered the pure snow grounds and soon a wave of energy was fired into the sky. Raziela smiled as she looked up at it.

"It's so beautiful. Finally the world will be covered in darkness." Raziela whispered to herself.

With all four seals broken the ground started to open up revealing a large portal in the center of the city. Coming out like a plague was a horde of Demons crawling out like there was no tomorrow. Once freed they would all do their own thing which was different ways of causing suffering to the humans.

The demons had grotesque features. Their flesh was badly burned and wet with blood. They had pointed ears and sharp teeth along with demonic red eyes. They appeared like little blood thirsty Imps. They attacked whatever was in sight; one was seen biting the ear off of a poor old man.

They screeched and howled as if they knew that they were starting a war. This was their time to cause as much destruction as they could; their one true and only purpose. The portal only appeared to get larger.

The news reporters panicked as Raanan was pleased with his henchmen. They were able to unlock the last remaining seals and begin what would be known as the apocalypse. This would be the end of the world as we know it.

Larger Demons started exiting out of the portal and began to shatter buildings and carve up the pavement. People fled in terror and only a few got away. Others were killed without mercy.

"This is what the world has so desperately waited for. The end of days. With this we will be able to start a new beginning. A better world for me to rule." Raanan said.

Exiting out the portal was a being of complete darkness. This was the one known as Belial; the first evil. He was the Devil. A being wit short black hair and gorgeous features. He had a muscular body which was covered by black armor. His hands looked like claws thanks to the gauntlets he was wearing. His yellow eyes stared at the sky and he simply smiled.

"Finally. The time has come to engulf this world in darkness."

Belial raised his hand into the air and soon the sky became pitch black which only added to the chaotic atmosphere. The feeling of hopelessness was spreading like wildfire.

"Belial. How's it feel to be free from your chains?"

"Raanan. Thank you for finally freeing me. Azazel was no help at all."

"I always get things done. But, I do however expect their to be freedom fighters who'll show up to try and stop us."

"Let them come. They'll all fail."

"I'm utterly shocked that their have been no appearance of Angels."

"They gave up on humanity a long time ago."

With Belial free from Hell how will the world hold up? Who will be strong enough to stop this madness from continuing?
