《Nephilim: Beyond Good and Evil》Chapter 2: End

Darkness... it really isn't scary at all. I find it kind of peaceful. Normally, you're always looking out for things that'll hurt you or try to bring you down, but when you're blinded by night. Everything just feels so calm and peaceful.
Wait a minute... what's that smell?
Terios raises a hand to push through the darkness and raises the lid off of a dumpster which somehow he was buried in.
"What the hell is going? How did I end up here?"
Attached to his shoulder was a rotten banana peel which he grossly flicked off of himself before hopping out of his coffin.
"Think damn it!"
That's right... Yuki-sensei invited me to her classroom. Then she mentioned some weird things.
"Wait.. Yuki-kun mentioned.. Nephilims... I'm suppose to be one whatever that is..."
Suddenly when things couldn't be much worse the demonic voice from before engulfs Terios' head causing him to clench it tightly.
My son. You must unlock your power and fulfil your destiny. You are a Nephilim.
"What the hell does that mean!?"
He shouts while strangers glance over at him and casually walk away as fast as possible. It's hard to blame them with how crazy this must look to them.
"Urrrgh! I must be crazy. Wait! Am I still injured?"
His right hand reaches under his shirt, feeling the area where he was stabbed. It appears that the wounds have healed completely and the proof that he was attacked was shown on the blood stains on his clothing.
"I should just head home. It's been a long night."
With the night sky staring down on Terios he decided it'd be best to return to the Kiyomizu Manor. After arriving in a fair amount of time he was greeted by a worried Setsuna.
"Where have you been?"
"Hey sis. I was out for a stroll."
"Don't lie. You've never done that to me before."
"I don't want to talk about it right now. I think I'll just take a bath."
"Then I'll join you."
"Uhmm, you really don't have to."
"I want to make sure you're safe."
Alright, this is awkward but, I did recently have a relationship with my sister. Let's just remember I'm adopted! I was desperate back then and Setsuna understood I was in need. She's just... too clingy.
"I don't want to argue... just don't do anything strange, alright?"
"Strange?"
And so the awkwardness began as Terios sat naked against the tub while his sister sat on the other side of it with her bare breasts out for show.
About before, my relationship with my sister. Well, father caught us and, well he wasn't pleased.
"Teri-kun..."
"Y-yeah?"
"If there's anything that's going on with you, I want to know so I can help."
That's sweet of her, but, my sister has enough problems to deal with. Still, that's another story. A story I'm too stressed to tell.
"You're the best sister a guy could ask for. I'm really glad to have met you. But, don't worry, your big brother can protect himself."

Meanwhile.
Outstretched wings tainted with black could be seen from an unknown figure who sat comfortably inside of a strip club. His crimson red eyes stared at the performers who were dancing on stage. Indulging in lust was something he took great pride in. Sitting along side him was a young man and woman who happened to be two of his clients.
"Now, I heard you two are good at what you do."
"We're the best. I take great pride in murdering those who need to be murdered for the right price. A guy's got to eat after all." The male said.
"I have an important job for you two. I can offer you two things and all I want from you..." The mysterious man said as he cupped his hands together and rested them on the table. "Something eternal."
"What are you offering me? I don't really care as long as it's money."
"I'm willing to offer you a fair amount of cash and power that no mere mortal could wield."
"I knew this guy was an even bigger nut job than me. If you're going to waste our time-"
The mysterious man slammed a briefcase onto the table before he opened it up, revealing green stained with red.
"Blood money?"
"It shows just how valuable this is since people have bet their life just to obtain this. It's what every human wants isn't it?"
"I'm listening."
"The person I want you to kill just so happens to be my son."
"Your son?" The woman broke her silence.
"Ahh, this is how we're going to build our relationship. There's no better way to bond than this."
"I don't give a shit about your fucked up relationship, just hand over a picture of what he looks like."
Moving a hand into his tuxedo the mysterious man pulls out a picture of his son and hands it to them.
"My son's name is Terios Kiyomizu. I'm dying to see him, but he isn't ready just yet. He hasn't grown enough to rid himself of his human limitations."
"Once again, you sound crazy. Now, what's this thing about power you were offering us?" The man said.
"Power comes at a price. If you give me your soul then I'll make sure the law never touches you again."
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
"Hmm?"
"You see, I lack a soul to give you, hehehe."
Back at the safety of the Kiyomizu Manor a new day was emerging from the bitter night. Terios slept soundly on his bed, rolling over to feel something soft being grasped in his hand. It was also squishy...
"Mmmm."
His eyes slowly opened as he noticed Setsuna was resting in his bed. That's not strange believe it or not. It happens from time to time. Still, there was that soft sensation against his palm. Softer than the pillow that he was laying his head against.
Wait a second.
"Why do you do this?"
"Huh?"
Terios quickly removes his hand from her chest and raises up halfway.

"You know what I mean."
"Well, I can't sleep and I get lonely."
"I forgot... your body functions differently."
My sister was born 'dead' my mother was shaken up because she always wanted a girl. So she contacted a demon to help her with a sleep to revive her daughter. The spell was a disaster and turned her into a Wraith. A restless ghost that feeds on people to survive. She can't eat, sleep, or feel pain. And she kills innocent people just to live.
"It's nice watching you sleep and feeling your touch."
I always feel bad for her. She was bullied in school and dropped out when she got to Middle School.
"I don't mind you sleeping with me just let me know..."
"Ok, Teri-kun."
Breakfast time. Keiko's cooking emanates through the room and lures almost everyone out into the dining room table.
Perfect time to introduce the family.
Sitting at the head of the table was the leader of the Kiyomizu clan, Ryo Kiyomizu. Next to him was his first son, Akemi Kiyomizu.
Akemi is the delinquent of the family, wearing a black choker around his neck. He wore a white shirt with a blue hoodie covering him that was left halfway zipped and a pair of blue jeans. His hair was silver and his eyes were dark red. Kind of intimidating at first glance.
Akira sat beside Akemi. He's Terios' cousin who comes from Uubji's side of the family. He had brown hair and brown eyes and wore a denim shirt along with dark blue jeans.
Next was Maemi, Akira's sister and daughter of Uubji. Her eyes were a lighter shade of brown along with her hair which was cut short. She had a bit of work done to her face, sporting a lip ring and a nose stud. She wore a pink skirt that stopped by her thighs along with a white blouse.
Finally there was Terios' mother, Keiko who had a delicate shade of purple hair and stunning blue eyes. She wore a cooking apron as she smiled and watched everyone eat before joining in herself.
"Mom, thanks for the meal."
"No problem, Terios."
"Terios. I heard you got into trouble at school. Are you feeling ok?" Akira asked.
Akira is pretty nice for a cousin. I like him way more than Akemi.
"I got into a fight, but.. I'm fine. I just want to take some time off."
"Do I have to get involved?" Ryo asked.
I couldn't dare let him see Yuki-sensei. Who knows what would happen.
"No dad. I just want to take a break from school. I'd like to see how I do with the supernatural side of things."
"Kukukuku!" The demented laughing came from Akemi. "You're kidding? You fail at life and you think you'll do better at hunting supernatural beings? Don't bother."
Akemi always wins for being a class A asshole.
"Son, we're a family. It's a family thing."
"Ryo save it for someone who cares. This guy isn't even a legit Kiyomizu or he would have some sort of ability. Unless cutting himself counts."
"You cut yourself son?"
"I-I don't. See?"
He showed his wrists, revealing the previous wounds have healed.
"Hmm."
"No need to be so mean to your brother, Akemi." Maemi said.
"Yeah, Terios has it rough at school." Akira responded.
"Whatever." Akemi said.
With everyone leaving for school Terios decided to go out for a walk to clear his head. Those words that Yuki-sensei spoke stuck into his head. His very existence was a mistake so would it be fair to live on?
It doesn't matter what Yuki-sensei says. If I died.... if I died then Setsuna...
Just another face in a sea of people, Terios blended in with his surroundings until feeling a strange presence. It was coming from behind him and it was a strange feeling. Like something was warning him he would be in danger.
Is someone following me? What should I do...?
He stopped for a moment, keeping his head down while trying his best to ignore the various people walking towards their intended destination.
If I isolate myself they'll come to attack me. If I stay in a crowded place I should be fine. They'll give up an-
Something loud popped and zipped along the crowd of people, a young lady was shot and blood seeped out from her stomach before she crashed to the ground. This caused a panic which made people run around for safety.
Maybe I'm wrong. This person seems ready to kill whoever. That poor woman. If I help her will I just be causing her more trouble?
He ran over to her anyways and checked up on her. Pulling out his cellphone he proceeded to dial 911 before another bullet rushed out and pierced the side of his shoulder, leaving a small gash which seeped blood.
"Crap...! Show yourself you coward!"
Terios looked all around and emerging from the panic in the crowd was a man who was about six foot four. He wore blue pants and a light grey t-shirt. His eyes were a teal color and his hair was jet black. In his hand was a gun pointed at Terios.
"Are you Terios Kiyomizu?" He asked as he looked at the picture before showing it off to him.
"Yeah... that's me."
"I'm here to kill you."
"Why!? What did I do to you!?"
"Nothing. You didn't do a thing."
The man smirked before he looked down at the woman and held his gun towards her. The woman was in too much pain to react.
"Don't!"
"Shut up. It's not like you'll do anything about it. You're a coward. You'll save your own life before anyone else's."
That's a lie. I wouldn't do that... even if I did it isn't wrong...
"Well, you aren't going to stop me? You can try to take the gun from my hand."
"Please don't do this. I don't want this."
"I want my money. So, unfortunately, I have to kill ya."
The man caused the gun to click before he aimed it at the woman's head. She pleaded for him to stop while Terios froze up and closed his eyes. Maybe this was just a very bad dream and he'd wake up soon. What made him realize this wasn't a dream was when the sound of the gun went off causing his ears to ring.
What's this... feeling...?
