Dan
Today is the last day!
I woke up excited, today they'll see the results of those 3 months! I did my best.
Eating and washing up in a hurry, I hurried to the training grounds, I don't want to be late.
Arriving at school, I see the group.
Look like I'm not the last Seb isn't here.
He arrived a few moment after us.
A few moments later, we saw Whip arriving.
"Let's go." She said not even saying "hello" or "good morning", She was colder than usual.
She led us to the complex, to the gravity room.
"Everyone enter" She continued.
When everyone was inside she entered.
"It's an evaluation, so it's quite easy you just have to handle at least 2 times the gravity and you pass guys!
Of course, the one that can handle the most will get a reward.
Girls you're here too just to see what you can handle, you can leave before the 2 times mark without any problem." Whip
"Ok" "Yay" "Understood!" I just nodded, but then.
"It'll begin the gravity will be amplified more and more, little by little. You can leave when you wish" Whip
"There was something like that?" I couldn't help to blurt out.
'This room can do more than what I was thinking'
"You should have made some research." She said coldly.
Carl was looking at me with a sneer on his face.
"Let's begin, beginingProgressive type 1" Whip
I felt more pressure instantly.
The amount of pressure on me was augmenting.
"Every 10 seconds the gravity will reach a new mark, 1.1 at 10 sec, 1.2 at 20 sec...etc" Whip
10 seconds passed but I was beginning to feel tired.
20 seconds It was beginning to become unbearable.
'Why?! It's should be easy up to 2 times!! I've already done it."
As I was trembling to my knee Carl was sneering at my struggle.
"You wish to stop already" Whip asked, I could feel the disappointment in her voice.
"No" I struggled to say.
30 second I was brought to my knee.
The others were all looking at me.
I couldn't understand why I was struggling so much then the answer hit me.
'I'm so stupid!' I couldn't help but slap myself.
The others were looking at me like I was an odd beast.
I would too if I was looking at a guy who should be stronger than me but was struggling to do something that is easy for me, then slap himself only to smile after.

Grabbing the bracelet on my arm I couldn't help but throw it at a corner of the room.
The pressure was gone, I could finally breathe freely.
I stood up and laughed at my stupidity.
I was trying to support almost (2.7*1.3=)~3.5 times the gravity.
Whip went to the corner to pick up the bracelet I threw.
She looked at me and laughed, it looked like my stupidity make her lose her coldness.
"I don't know how you learned about this but it would be a really stupid reason to fail the test when you can do so much" Whip.
After some curious stare from those of the group and a murderous glare from Carl, the test continued.
As the seconds passed I could see the others struggling more and more, at 1.6 G Maya gave up and left the room.
At 1.8 Mary left too.
Seb was sweating a lot and fell to his knee when Mary left.
He was trying his best to support the gravity to pass, but at 1.9 when Alexandra was giving up He fainted.
Whip had to drag him out of the room but the test continued.
Ron was the next one to give up at 2.2
Time passed, Carl, the twins, me and Whip who came back were the only one left in the room.
2.5
I was still smiling looking at the others, Carl glared back, the twins were sweating a lot and were putting all their attention on their legs, trying to not fall, to not give up.But Ryan gave up.
Followed by his brother, who gave up 10 seconds later.
Carl and I were the last participants.
2.6
He started to pant.
2.7
He started to tremble, but even like that he tried to taunt me.
"I will win"
I only shook my and smiled at him.
Maybe my smile had some hint of contempt, 'cause he didn't take it well and resumed glaring at me as if he wanted to eat me alive.
'2.7, It was what I was able to support without forcing, from here thing will become difficult'
2.8
Carl went to his knee.
"Give up and it will end" I whispered, still smiling.
Surprisingly he stood up.
2.9
Only to fall again.
Looking at me who wasn't even gasping for breath, unlike him, He finally gave up.

I was the last one.
"Good job Dan, you're first, You can leave,"Whip said coming next to me.
"I can't, I know I stay longer, I ca-can't stop right now determinedly.
began
I to pant, I could feel my limit coming nearer.
Mom was saying that you can only become strong if you find your limit and surpass it.
3.1
I was trembling
3.2
I fell to my knee.
"You should give up Dan, you should not hurt yourself before the training.
'one more, just one more'
The next 10 seconds were longer than ever.

When the pressure augmented again, my face ate the floor, and with difficulty, I said "I give... up"
And the pressure disappeared.
Whip came near me:"Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine just give me 5 min" I smiled.
"You've just beaten the old record, you know that?" She smiled back
"I'm sure they'll enjoy training you"

I was momentary shocked, indomitable warrior!!!It's a legendary title!
1/20, I'm quite far to get it, but it's a start.
One day I will get it!Never give up? Sure!
'A new title...That will help me to become stronger, sweet!'
Seeing me shocked then excited Whip asked me if I was hurt somewhere.
Telling her about my new title, She stopped a moment.
"I'm happy you believe in me but you must not say to others your titles unless you really believe in them or have no other choice, ok?"
I nodded.
"Well, congratulation for your new title! Continue like that!" She said happily, patting my head.
It wasn't...uncomfortable, I hopped she continued a little longer.
Leaving the room, the others were looking at me as if I were a monster but said nothing, there was a more pressing issue.
"Seb, you fell before the 2-time mark, you're not feet to become a warrior give up" Whip
We were shocked by the brutality and coldness she said it.
"Can't he have another chance?"Mary pleaded
'Eh, She is quite a gentle girl to worry about others here, where the higher you are in the ranking the better your rewards.'
But we all knew that not everybody is able to become a warrior, and we all heard of the cruelty of the instructor on those that don't meet their requirements each year.
Whip didn't even cast a glance to Mary.
"You can go back home and try become a craftsman" she continued mercilessly.
She left to the dodge challenge, not waiting for us to follow her.
We followed her leaving a devastated Seb in front of the gravity room that crushed his dream.
We were waiting in front of the challenge room.
The girl went one by one and came back untouched.
We were able to see their dodges from outside.
Oddly enough from the 3, it was Maya that dodged the best, imitating to perfection Whip when she was in this room, Whip who congratulated her.
Then it was my turn, dodging left and right, trying to move a minimum.
Just moving the member that was about to get touched out of the way.
After two minutes of concentration, the projectiles stopped coming.
It was the end.
Leaving the room no boy went after me, there was no need for them to do it anyway.
"I will report your achievement to your instructor so you will see the issue of your points with them.
Well, so all of you in front of me are officially accepted in the training course, Congratulation !!
A.N: So, I have now a part-time job, so I will update less frequently. And 'cause of revision I will have to stop writing in a near future.
BUT I wish to at least finish the Childhood arc, it's my goal for now.
I hope I can continue 'cause the next arc should be funnier than this one.The twins are pretty much the handymen of Carl.
Well so plz in the comments tell me what you think of them for the little you've seen of them, and/or how you wish to see them grow.
That it, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, tell me in the comment if you see any fault.
(I'm sure there are some 'cause I didn't PR myself 'cause I'm in a hurry)

P.S: I need help with table
