《End of the World》Pt. 2 Chapter 2

The ugly that is coming up on me is a massive beast. Twenty feet tall, mostly muscle, armored with thick scales, etc. I could describe it all, but that would take too long. I started to look for a weakness when I was launced into the ship. I didn't realize it, but the creature threw a object at me. I ran back out shouting "Pilots, take off. I will hold them off until you are at a safe distance."
I couldn't see their faces, but I saw the ships close their doors and take off. Only one stayed to make sure that I could get off. I saw the men fighting and some fell. I felt danger and managed to dodge another object. I looked at the fat ugly, new name, and saw him holding onto something. I jumped at him hoping to get close enough for him to stop and immediately ran into his fist.
I flew back a few feet and crashed into a boulder. I looked back up and saw the final ship overwhelmed, the soldiers were gone and the ship couldn't fly with all that weight. I felt a itch in my shoulders and looked at them when some missile launchers popped out. I saw my vision now included some red circles that were flashing, when I focused on the enemy, they turned red. I decided to focus on the uglies that were overwhelming the carrier and fired the missiles.
There were small explosions of blood and flesh as death was watching. I looked back and saw the fat ugly was above me. He grabbed me and threw me at the carrier, which was in the air now, and knew I couldn't change my course. I landed right above the engine and started to feel a burning sensation build up. I let go of the ship and fell off the side, which fortunately had a few people waiting for me to fall again.

I was pulled in and when I looked down, the whole world was overrun and more enemies came through just to form a base. Before the carrier went to far, I saw them carry women through the rift and some were immediately threw on something to keep them still. That was the last sight of this world as we entered outer space and went to THE ROGUE. We were the last ship and had the most damage dealt to us.
I got out and rushed to the bridge when I felt a person stop me saying "We need to get you to the medbay so that we can heal your wounds." I looked at them and tried to push them away when I was grabbed by two people and knocked out.
10 days later
I woke up to find myself in my room and Tannyll was sleeping next to me. I layed there for a few hours as I looked around and saw Cleo and Portia getting dressed. They saw me looking and told me that I was asleep for about 10-12 days, they couldn't remember exactly. I tried moving my legs and felt something interfere. I looked down and saw that they were in a cast.
I was about to reach down and rip them off when I felt Tannyll wake up and look at me with sadness and joy. She looked at me and softly whispered "Thank you." I knew why she was thanking me because I managed to save most of her people, other than the warriors that died, and even risked myself to ensure their safe arrival. I just nodded to her and ripped off my cast. People seem to think that I need months to recover some use, I need to remind them that I am not normal.

"I have taken care of the ship and it's rescources, but we will eventually run out of energy as the ship is getting too big for this. I suggest we find a way to upgrade the reactor and find a safe place to spend during the whole upgrade." Tannyll told me.
"I will try to find a way to upgrade the ship reactor and look for a planet, you just rest and I will handle the rest." I told her as I got up. She wasn't surprised at my action and layed down on the bed and fell asleep. I tucked her in and got some food ready for her when she woke up. As I was leaving the room, Cleo walked up to me and asked "Do you have a minute?"
"I do, do you need something?" I replied.
"Well, I have to take care of two kids and the task that I was assigned. Do you think that I could get someone else to take care of that like with the other tasks?" She said.
"I will find someone, so go to our room and rest with Tannyll. Thank you for taking care of that for me." I replied. She nodded and went to our room and started to relaxe on the couch. I walked up to the bridge and sat down in my chair when Sparky asked for me.
'What's up Sparky?' I asked.
'I heard that you will run out of energy as the ship keeps getting bigger. You also need to upgrade your suply generator and your oxygen supply on the ship. There is a way, but you will need to find a safe planet and save the energy for the upgrades. I suggest a planet that has a compatable atmosphere with safe water and a food supply.' He said.
'Ok, I will look into it. Thanks for the help, anything else?'
'Nothing else of importance.' As he said that, I focused on the area around me and saw that the crew was looking at me. I asked "What's up?"
"There is a strange reading on our scanners that you need to know about. It emanates from the center of the ship and it is reacting to a planet in the system UB-175. It appeared after we got closer to that system and there is one planet in it. It is hospitable and we can set up a base there so that we don't need to worry about being killed in the vacum of space. What shall we do?" Nav asked.
"Lets head there and cruise there, we need to save the energy to upgrade the ship a bit." I said. As I said that, a screen showed up and showed what the current energy we have stored and the energy needed for upgrading the ship. "Oh my god, that will take a while. Good thing that we aren't jumping and hope that we don't run into enemies." I said out loud.

Young bloods (WIP)
" So-called leaders prostituted their people to wars and abuse. They destroyed families, culture and economies; their hands dyed red by the blood of the children, the families trampled by their lecherous motivations and diabolical war machines. Trained and taught by the Revenants or rather “young bloods” from their war-torn world, we were going to build a better world for us and for the later generations, a world when there shall be no more wars waged over territory, a world where boys and girls can frolic around for all of eternity." -Sasha, Terutan regular army cadet. ‘History is determined by the victors, and here we stand transcended over those who abused us. History is filled with liars, broken promises of eternal prosperity and peace. The more things change, the more things stayed the same: ideology change, location shift but power will always find a place to rest its head. We fought and bled for the adults, the grown men and women who preached of us being their future, preached us of the freedom from tyranny and slavery; no wonder why we hated them so. History is determined by the victor, and there shall be no victors when we’re done.’- Yulia Bronskavya, Red Army Homeguard. As the first modern war came to a close in November 1st, 1918, rows of passed juveniles laid the battlefields. In the name of some royal fat cats or some shitty national leader, cruelty and crimes were committed against the weak and the vulnerable younglings; in other words, adults were assholes. Their deaths marked a new beginning, a new beginning in a strange and magical land that was and had only been dreamt of in stories and folk tale, they had arrived to Terruta. She shivered when he took a deep breath, as if he were trying to absorb the scent of her skin, and his soft lips kissed her gently, one, two, three times, as he traced the line of her neck staling her breath away. * If you want to know more about this book or simply access earlier updates, please visit the official site at http://carpersanti.net/gaea/
