“Hmmm, things have been interesting here. Young Master and Brad are partaking in their usual practice, I for the most part supervise and if I see any mistakes I tell them. They have been improving quite well so I for the most part get to take a break. Sister Boss has been training everyone well so far and for myself I have been learning sewing, embroidery, and other such things. Young Master through the family distributed Grade 2 talismans, these talismans are something that you would be lucky to get in a lifetime as a commoner though those in the cities have a better chance I suppose. Certainly if it was my tribe back home we would never get our hands on these unless we got lucky as only those experienced warriors have such things. Young master has interesting things I hear muttered all the time but I don’t know what they mean but they sound very mystical.

My parents died when I was young, the tribe tried it’s best to care but there was only so much they could do since the monsters were so active then. When the subjugation group from the county came by they helped where they could, since there were too many mouths to feed right while the village was recovering they offered some children the chance to become servants or soldiers. Most people would not believe this offer but some of the soldiers there were former tribesmen who left a long time ago to take this offer. They said that it was fine to do so and that they would see that we would not go to the bad places for children. The people at the county have been peaceful neighbors for generations so the tribe was also more willing to let people go. I went along with several others who had lost their parents and had no one there to teach them the ways of the tribe to survive. We traveled for days to get to the big town at the border. It was a big place with a massive stone building in front with big walls. I have never seen anything that big before and the town behind it was also big, it spread very far, as far as the eye could see like grass on the plains. Alot of people were there on the paths and we had to stay close to the soldiers to get to where we wanted to go. There was a big wooden building near the extra-large stone building with towers that I later learned was a castle that we went to. They had us tell them stuff about ourselves which they scribbled down before asking us what we wanted to do. We could become soldiers as well, join as servants, or train to be officials of the county. We had a few days to decide and we would be fed and housed but had to do chores in return. I decided in the end to become a servant and I was sent to the manor where young master lived and I trained before eventually being placed in his service.

It was fun times since then but scary as well, big sis is the strongest warrior I have ever met. Maybe the chief back home could fight her but I don’t know if he would win. It was very hard being taught under her in alot of things, from embroidery, weaving, equitique, cleaning, and learning how to disable a man in the quickest possible way. But I was not alone in this as I had several other apprentices with me, because I did very well in my group I was assigned to be young master’s personal maid along with Brad who was one of the footmen now a valet for young master. We knew each other a bit since the head maid taught everyone equitique and fighting for the servants together but Brad was more attached to the head butler, must have been after all the knocks to the head in sword practice. Brad has always been one for fighting more than learning to read or write as a valet should, young master is not helping with his constant bouts. Pretty soon not only Brad but the recruit guards are going to be worn out. But then I suppose that the head butler would be happy, that tail is funny though. I wonder what would happen if I hit it, well I would get in trouble but if young master did it. Actually that is maybe gonna happen anyway by accident with the practice the two are having, young master is using those additions I put on his training equipment well. I was confused a bit at first but I sewed them in anyway and it has been interesting learning about daggers with him, hmm whats for lunch this thinking is making me hungry.
