Natsuki's POV

Then I could make out two red eyes in the mist but it was too late.

"Arrghh"I yelled in pain

The attack pattern of this boss was unpredictable and irregular it was literally mist with eyes so it's body could move very awkwardly. If I tried a barrier it would faze through it and every attack I tried went through the mist.

"How am I supposed to beat this"I said frustrated

If I tried to hit the eyes the eyes would disappear and reappear somewhere else in the mist. I guess if it has nowhere to go I'm bound to hit it I raised my hands and purple beams started to shoot out in every direction. But I noticed the eyes disappeared I turned around and the eyes started glowing and blew up in my face. A silhouette appeared in the mist and disappeared. Looks like magic isn't going to cut it

"Harbinger of death and destruction heed my call and yield at my will azurewrath

The accursed blade appeared in my hands along with the sound of thunder and lightning. The sword slowly ate away at me I trembled as pain kept shooting through my body. It's now or never I took a glance and sprinted at the silhouette once in slashing distance. I took a slash and as expected the silhouette disappeared but I expected that I'm going to have to use THAT skill. Executed the movement for the skill and imagined it. And slowly started to rise to the top of the room. Skeletons started rising from the ground and after a bit of concentration a haze of purple blades flew by and went straight though me the whole room was repeatedly barraged with skeletons ,flame and blades. After a couple minutes I stopped the barrage and saw the silhouette lying dead on the floor and I went to check who it was. I turned the body around it was my apprentice in shock at who I just killed tears streamed from my eyes. What kind of cruel joke is this. But then everything started fading away.

Arthur's POV

And everything started to fade away

"Wait what am I dead"I said confused

Everything just faded away and now I'm standing in the middle of nowhere and all I can see is white.

"Well I guess you're dead well you should have been atleast"a voice said

"Wait wait what I'm not sure I'm understand what happened"I asked

"The boss did his flame attack and you were incinerated"the voice answered

"Oh that makes a lot mor-"I said before I was cut off

"Well that's what was going to happen but you were way too interesting to let die there"the voice said

"Okay now it doesn't make sense again"I said

"I'll explain eventually don't worry we're just waiting on one last guest to appear"the voice said

Well I figured it wasn't a good idea to demand answers from someone who can control a plane teleport you even inside a dungeon and protect you from a bosses attack.

"Ok ok"I sighed

After a few minutes Natsuki just appeared beside me.

"Where have you been!"I said

"Where have you been!"Natsuki said

"Fighting a boss!"I said

"Fighting boss!"Natsuki said

"Well I guess that clears things up"I said

"Pretty much"Natsuki answered

"Now that both my prized guests are here I have a gift for both of you"the voice said

"I take no gift from the person who killed my apprentice"Natsuki said

"Oh I didn't do anything you killed her"the voice said mockingly

"Where are you I'll avenge her no matter what you coward"Natsuki said

"Oh you want to avenge her then just kill yourself"the voice said

"Sorry I can't I'll just respawn"Natsuki said

"Wait you're a player" I said

And Natsuki just looked at me with a blank face.

"Don't worry even if you don't want the gift I'm giving it to you"the voice said

"I'll gladly take the gift if it's not going to harm me"I said

"Well I'm going to give Natsuki her gift first because... Priorities"the voice said

A purple gem that looked like there was an angel trapped inside flew from sky and fit attached to the purple sword Natsuki was holding.

"Gahhhh"Natsuki yelled in pain

"Natsuki!"I said but with no response

I went over to help her but she started screaming and pushed me away.

"You though you had the full power of azurewrath but as me and Azrael both death gods and such are... close. So he gave me a piece of his prized weapon but it looks like you have it now so might as well give it to you"the voice said

I looked over at Natsuki it really didn't seem like I could do much there was no wounds I could patch up. It doesn't seem like she going to listen to me either.

"So what's my gift"I sighed

"Oh your gift is unique and very special"the voice said

"Great" I said sarcastically

"I want you to become my champion"the voice said

"And who are you" I asked

A man appeared in bronze armour and a pitch black helm and sword

"Hades God of the underworld in Greek times"hades said

"I need someone to help me ....obtain more....residents in the underworld"hades said

"A lot of people die and choose to go to other deitys underworlds or havens and rarely pick mine poor me"Hades said

"You'll become my champion and....... Persuade your enemies to go to my underworld"Hades said

"And show the strength of Hades"Hades said
