Chapter 7
New chapter enjoy also do you like the new description I felt the old one needed work so I changed it.
Natsuki's POV
I stood by expectantly as Arthur opened the door I had put a void barrier in case the door started to attack like last time. But before I could fully react Arthur literally just disappeared in purple smoke.
"Damn it" I yelled
The doors Arthur grabbed now swung open although now I thought twice before going to try to open a door here. Well if I get sent to the same place as Arthur I should be able to help him. But that's considering he didn't get sent to just death I remembered I forgot to friend him so I can't message him. I try to teleport him to me but after a while it was clear he wasn't going to be teleported any time soon. And I looked like an idiot in deep thought while holding my hands out to the floor. This is weird he's either in a skill restricted area of some kind of a boss or mini boss room. This isn't good odds are he's in a boss or a mini boss room and I don't feel like he's going to fare well against one at his level.
Considering the rank of the quest. This dungeon is a rank C dungeon and he probably won't be able to solo a boss or a mini boss in rank C dungeon until level 80 I doubt he's going to be able to even scratch it even with Caliburn. I should probably start to worry about myself as there no real way I can help him right now. Well the only way to go is forward and if I leave my pride will be damaged critically and I don't think I'll be able to get any backup for at least a couple days. So I take a couple steps forward and looked at the now opened doors. I take a step through and prepare to cast a void barrier if needed but nothing happens I look around at the old rickety building all the boards creak as you step.

The whole place looked like a haunted house I noticed that the shadows seemed to dance on the walls taunting me. I increased my pace the shadows were getting really irritating on the wall there were shadows of feet stepping on me and swords going through my chest. Faces started appearing on the wall laughing only adding to the irritation. It felt like a walk of shame the person I was hunting was my apprentice she controls the void not the shadows what the heck is with this. I pulled out a torch and lit it but it didn't seem to effect the shadows if anything the shadows seem to be laughing more now. If Arthur was here the light of his sword would probably outshine the shadows. Sheesh if this place has more than one boss I'm not going to be happy. Seems like some kind of shadow based monster also is in this dungeon. This corridor was literally a straight hallway with no doors and it just didn't seem to end. After walking for a couple minutes I reached a metal door which was pitch black even though I was pointing a torch right at it almost like it was absorbing the light of the torch. It looked like liquid but it was solid it felt smooth and silky like marble or silk but it was fully solid and didn't contract when I tried to use force.
Then the door slowly started melting into the floor I stepped back I didn't know what would happen if that touched me. And I wasn't going to find out after the door fully disappeared into floor. It looked like a boos room inside the room was huge and covered in intricate patterns on the walls. There appeared to be some sort of shrine in the middle. I started to walk toward the shrine. It had pictures on it showing people being swallowed by what appeared to be a large shadow with glowing red eyes. There was a rock in the middle covered in runes. I came all this way I'm not going to be stopped by some boss. I reached for the stone and it cut open my hand with some sort of magic blood hit the stone and then the stone shattered the whole room became covered in darkness and the door closed. Then smoky mist filled up some of the room the mist was the same as the door pitch black absorbing all the light. Then I could make out two red eyes in the mist but it was too late.
