The is a man that went by the name of Mark Jones that resides in a mental health institute and will only acknowledge the being called by Phanuel. His only dream was to be a hero, and he had the tools to become one. He has strength comparable to the upper echelons, he was once clocked running 100 mph and he had a strong desire to help others.

To no one’s surprise he signed up to be a hero and he quickly ascended the ranks. In less than a year he was scouted by Mighty Mike and became their sidekick. For the first few months all was good until he fought Sinister Mountain and killed him. This weighed heavily on him, he never wanted to kill, he was even a vegetarian and volunteered at animal shelters on his off time. But the shock of the incident lead him down a terrible rabbit hole.

In his first job after the incident he showed hesitation and the result was some innocent civilians got heavily injured and this slowly eroded him. He then began to get more aggressive in his fights and started to kill villains. His mentor acted too late in noticing the the increasing violence of Mark and when he finally tried to stop him a struggle occurred between the two. Unbenounced to the two, Mark had another ability and that was the ability to absorb some of the strength of the people he killed and he inherited bits of the mind of the deceased. And in the fight he killed his mentor.

This lead him to shut himself down and become zombie like. During this time he was institutionalized and was under heavy watch. He was away from the public eye for ten years without incident until one fateful day. A riot broke out in the facility and it spread out to his area. With an orderly pinned to the ground in imminent danger Mark saved him but he also killed the assailant. The riot soon ended with the deaths of all of the rioters.

After the incident he rewrote his memories, he is Phanuel a hero that kills villains and vowed to kill them all. He then left the facility and went on a killing spree. But these killing did not stop at villains, this included those that broke the law. Any crime that was committed was deemed evil, weather it be jaywalking or speeding, if you commit a crime you were evil and evil needed to be killed.

And this serves as the prolog to the person that would be the first domino in shaking the foundation of AOE and GOP.
