Arc 31 - Solace
Earth’s moon:
Aarin appeared out of nowhere. Unlike when Nazar left, the whole place was completely empty but now Laura is here and many other superhumans, including 001 are here. She was a little surprised to see these people here. She knew that Nazar was working with them, but he was surprised that he was actually working with them.
She was holding the unconscious body of Nazar. Even though he was unconscious, he was still coughing up a lot of blood. His clothes were ripped to pieces and it did not recreate itself because he stopped using the nanites.
As soon as Aarin appeared, she found herself in the main lobby of this facility.
She saw Laura, 001, 002, and a few dozen superhumans there.
When they saw the unconscious body of Nazar, they all went speechless. They had no idea what had happened and definitely did not know what to do.
“What happened?” Laura asked as she approached Aarin.
“I…” Aarin did not know what to say. “He is… badly injured.”
They were all confused as to what to do. They had no idea if they could help Nazar.
As they were looking around nervously, a voice of a computer could be heard.
- Place the body in here.-
As the computer said that, the nanites in the facility created a hospital bed and with all the necessary pieces of equipment.
Aarin immediately placed Nazar’s body on the bed that did not exist a few seconds ago.
The bed was soon surrounded by walls, to make a proper room.
Once they were in the room, they had no idea how to help him. So, the first thing they could think about was healing Nazar.
“We need a healer,” Laura shouted and immediately a few healers appeared. Some of them had different abilities, but Nazar changed it so they can have more support in battle.
As soon as the healers appeared, they looked like they did not really want to help but Laura pushed them anyway.
Even though Laura, the new boss of the Internal Order, has accepted the deal with Nazar, she still does not trust him. And like most of them, she still has a grudge against him.
Nazar’s heart rate dropped below 15. And it was still going down.
“Come on, do it quickly,” Laura said in a loud voice. However, it was not a shout.
The healers went and started healing Nazar. By healing him, they reduced the usage of Nazar’s energy in the body. Which means, it could focus more on regenerating other cells, like blood cells.
Aarin did not just sit there, they started a magic spell and a massive magic circle appeared.
As the magic circle appeared, Laura did not know what to do but step back a little.
“Wh-what is that?”
“A large-scale healing magick. I don’t think your healers will be able to to do it. ” Aarin answered slowly.

One week later - Thursday, 18th of July 2019
It has been one week since Aarin rescued Nazar from Jabalot Empire. And after three weeks of being missing, he is finally back. In the first week, he was tortured and killed multiple times. In the second week, he was completely dead, but it was not to his liking. And the third week he spent in constant death and revival.
He finally wakes up and he is perfectly fine. He doesn't know what has happened or where he is. He was in too much pain to notice anything in the past week.

“Where…?” Nazar muttered as he scratched his eyes.
He looked around and it looked like a hospital room. He is confused.
“I thought hospitals were closed,” he muttered.
He looked around and finally noticed something weird. He had no shirt on. This shocked him the most.
During his shock, his clothes appeared out of thin air.
- Welcome back, master. -
The voice of the computer said.
“Ah. Solace.”
Solace was the name he had given to the AI.
Nazar smiled and muttered, “So, I am on the moon.”
But at that moment, his smile vanished. The last thing he remembers, his back was being broken and then losing consciousness. Then the next thing he remembers is white light. Everytime he revived, he only saw a white light for a few seconds before being killed again by the technorganic virus.
It looked like the virus has gotten much stronger in the last week.
He does not remember coming here.
“Solace, who brought me here?”
Before Solace could answer his question, someone entered the room. It was Laura.
She had a glass of juice with her.
“Do you think I am a kid that I will drink that?” Nazar said as soon as she entered the room.
“This? This is for me.” She placed the juice glass next to Nazar.
“How did you know I was awake?” Nazar asked in confusion.
“Well… a few minutes ago you were healed completely so I thought you would be up by now.” Laura explained in a calm tone.
“Who brought me here?” Nazar said as he picked up the glass of juice that was sitting on top of the table next to the bed.
“She said her name was Aarin? I don’t know, she did not talk a lot.”
By hearing that, Nazar was shocked.
“... Then, she healed me?”
There was a little silence.
“... She and a few of our healers have been trying for a week to heal you, but it was not working. The other healers would take a break but that woman did not stop healing you. She didn’t even move. But it was useless. You were in bad shape until 10 minutes ago.”
“About 10 minutes ago someone… or something showed up. With a touch, you were healed completely.” Laura explained.
“What?” Nazar said slowly in shock.
“No one knows what happened…”
“What did you mean by ‘someone… or something’?” Nazar asked in a confused tone.
“Some say it was a woman, while the others saw a man. Some saw a child while the others saw an adult. Some saw sinner and others saw a saint. Some saw an angel and the others saw a demon.” Laura paused. “At least that is what I have been told when I asked them. The cameras didn’t pick up anything.”
“Who could it be?” Nazar repeated this sentence under his breath. “Guess I will look at it later.”
Nazar only knew one angel and one demon. But who could it be?
“How long was I gone for?”
“Well, the last time I saw you were on Thursday, 27th of June 2019.”
“What’s the date today?”
“Thursday, 18th of July 2019.”
“What…?” Nazar muttered under his breath as he turned his gaze away from Laura and looked down.
(3 weeks, huh?) Nazar thought. (So much happened… well, I need to think about the current problems.)
“Anyway, where did Aarin went?”
“I don’t know. She did not say anything.”

Nazar did not say anything after that. He just kept looking down at his hand. After a few seconds, Laura left the room.
----------------------------------------------------
Jabalot Empire - Now:
The people of Jabalot Empire has been trying to find Nazar for a week now. They have used everything they could, but they cannot pinpoint his location. They even went to the place where his base was, but they could not find anything.
He was nowhere to be found anywhere on Earth or the moon. They tried to locate him using the technorganic virus, but it proved useless too.
They tried to follow his energy trail, but it was useless too.
While the Death 100 were panicking to find Nazar again before the word gets out to Vanaha Empire or the citizens of Jabalot Empire.
“” Iget raised his voice towards Professor Death.
“” Professor Death muttered.
He raised his voice a little so he can be heard by others. “”
“” Bloodlust replied immediately. “”
“” Darkness asked.
“” Iget said slowly.
As they were arguing back and forth between them about how to find him or where he might be, they heard a loud >thud< sound. It was like some had just landed in high speed.
With that sound, the whole ground shook.
The person or the thing landed right outside the castle. The control room was also in this massive castle. It was right next to the throne room.
Iget and the others left the room immediately and went outside to look what it was. In front of the castle, people were celebrating till a few moments ago, but they were quiet now. They were surrounding some.
A woman with blond hair and white dress. A woman with wings and a halo. An angel. Aarin.
She had bloodlust in her eyes. She looked like she was about to annihilate the entire planet.
“Who is in charge here?” Aarin said in a calm tone trying to keep her anger under control.
However, no one answered her. They just looked at her blankly and then laughed. This seemed to have angered Aarin even more.
“WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE?” This time she shouted, which echoed for miles.
The surrounding windows were shattered to pieces.
The people who were very close to her, some found their eardrums to be bleeding.
“I WILL NOT ASK AGAIN!” She continued.
And at that moment, she caught someone in her right hand without looking.
It was Rewind. He tried to use the same trick and try to hit Aarin while moving extremely fast. But Aarin caught him like he was standing still.
The man who could never slow down. The man who never stops running. The man whom no one has seen was standing still. He was wearing all black clothes. He had a mask on too. The design of the costume was very simple.
For the first time in his life, he was seen by someone. He was seen by his peers and his friends.
CRACK!!
With that sound, Aarin snapped his neck. She merely used her palm to kill him. The man who could not stop or slow down can never move again.
Rewind was dead. A man who could travel faster than the speed of light was stopped in his track by someone who did not even looked at him.
And just like that, everyone started to move away from Aarin. They ran around trying to escape.
Aarin did not pay attention, because the so-called ‘ruler’ of the planet came out.
“My name is Iget Xehz. I am the ruler of Jabalot Empire.” Iget said in his own language, but it was translated to English for Aarin.
She walked closer to Iget, who just came out of the front door of the castle. There was a staircase in between them, but Aarin removed the distance between them in less than a second.
As soon as Aarin found herself in front of Iget, she held him by his collar. He was taller than her, but it did not matter to Aarin.
“Why did you try to kill him?”
“We are assassins. We take any job for good payment.”
Aarin back slapped him slowly. However, she held back a lot so he won’t die.
Iget started to sweat nervously. “It... it was a mission.”
Aarin’s eyebrows narrowed. “Mission?”
“Yes, it was given to us by Vanaha Empire,” Iget spoke without any dignity. He did not care about anyone or anything until he was safe.
“Why?”
“Apparently he was going to destroy Earth. We were sent to save Earth from him.”
Aarin let him down. She walked away. After about a meter, she stopped moving and looked back without turning around completely.
“I have hurt him enough. His mother has hurt him enough. A lot of people in his life has hurt him enough.” Aarin said with a bitter smile on her face. “So, if you even think about raising a finger against him again, I will destroy the whole planet.”
She was about to start walking again but Iget spoke.
“If the payment is goo… ”
That man did not finish what he was saying. He did not even make another sound after that.
The reason?
It was simple. Aarin has punched him in his chest and there was a hole in it. Her fist went through his body as if it was made of cheese.
She hit him very fast that he no one knows what happened.
Aarin removed her hand from the hole and the blood started to drip from her hand. The blood was pitch black.
She merely looked at the other people around her. Some of the Death 100 were there too.
“If you guys even think about raising a finger against him, I will destroy your whole planet.”
And just like that, she vanished into thin air.
The people of Jabalot Empire stood there doing absolutely nothing… for only 30 seconds.
After 30 seconds they started to fight against one another. There was a vacancy and millions of people were applying for it. It was a match to the death.
The Reaper watched them in disgust and he vanished into thin air too.
Some other Death 100 left as well, but some of them stayed behind and joined the fight.
----------------------------------------------------
Earth’s moon:
Aarin appeared back in the room where Nazar was currently residing. She has been gone only for a few minutes.
“I see you are awake,” Aarin said as she appeared in the room.
Nazar heard the voice and looked towards her.
“That’s good. That’s good.” She smiled as she said that.
Nazar noticed her hand. It was her right hand a little bit of her sleeve. It was covered in black goo.
“What’s with your hand?” Nazar asked in confusion.
She looked at it and then said, “Nothing. I just need to wash it off.”
She returned a few minutes later and her hand was clean, as well as her clothes.
“How are you feeling?”
“Did you save me?” Nazar said as he stood up. His clothes looked exactly like it always is.
As soon as he stood up, the bed and the equipment disappeared. Then a few seconds later, the whole place turned back into a lobby.
“Yes.” She paused. “When I last saw you, you said you wanted to die. So, I was watching you for a week go through all that. I wanted to save you from there, but I did not want to ruin your ‘happy’ moments. But then you died. You were gone for a week and I watched. I waited for you to come back.”
“When you finally did, I was so happy to see you again. But then those other idiots tried to take you back, so I could no longer hold back and came to save you.” She added.
Nazar stared into the lobby where everyone was staring at them. A man with the power of a god and an angel.
“Looks like they are still not used to us, huh?” Aarin said as she chuckled.
“I wouldn’t blame them,” Nazar replied to her question as they both stood still.
“Anyway, why did you come back?” Aarin turned her gaze towards Nazar. “From the dead, I mean.”
“I… was in a dark place. There was no light and no sound. I thought the afterlife will be different, but this was something very different. I… lost the memories I had taken from others, including yours.” Nazar paused for a little while. “Do you know what the deal with that place was?”
“Apparently it was created just a few thousand years ago.” Aarin paused. She continued when she saw the confused look on Nazar. “There is a heaven and a hell. But then there is also heavens and hells. The heaven and hell are the places for Angels and demons. The heavens and hells are where the souls end up. The place where you went to, it is referred to as ‘Void’. This place was created to store people who are too powerful for hells and heavens.”
“So, you're telling me that because of my power, I will always end up in this void?”
“Yes,” Aarin replied immediately.
“Anyway, why can’t the hells and heavens for souls cannot hold powerful people?”
Aarin thought for a minute before answering.
“Apparently, about 2,000 years ago, a powerful person was sent into hell and he easily overpowered the demons. After overpowering them, he raided attack on other hells and other heavens. So, they decided that those kinds of people should stay in another place.”
Nazar was confused yet amazed about this place.
“Anyway, are still going to try and kill yourself?”
“No. I decided to live forever and see the things I could not do before.”
“What do you mean?”
“I am going to explore the universe.” As he said that, a smile appeared on his face.
Nazar who was looking straight ahead this whole time looked to his right, where Aarin was standing and he noticed something.
“So, where was your halo a few days ago?”
“When we were fighting?” Aarin chuckled. “I did not want to use my halo, which increases my powers by a huge amount to fight you.”
“I… am confused.”
“Angels get their powers from this halo. If I remove this halo, I am only superhuman level. When I lost my powers, my base powers were even lower than most superhumans here. But when I got my halo and original powers that comes with this physiology returned as well.”
“Wow. You guys are powerful.”
As both Nazar and Aarin went silent, he remembered something.
… a certain female will be in trouble.
Iget had said that to him when they met.
“Shit,” Nazar muttered and then looked around worriedly.
“001,” Nazar shouted after a few seconds.
There was no response for a few seconds.
“What?” A familiar voice came through. It belonged to 001.
He was standing a little further away than the others.
He walked towards Nazar and asked.
“What is it?”
“Is Emily okay?”
001 was confused but he replied nonetheless. “Yes?”
“What about my sister?”
“I don’t know.”
“Damn it,” Nazar muttered as he vanished into thin air.
Everyone was confused now. So, Aarin followed him. She knew where he was going.
Nazar appeared in his foster family’s home. And Aarin was right behind him.
“Emma?” As Nazar appeared on the ground floor of the house, he shouted her name. “Emma?”
As he said the name, he went upstairs.
As soon as he went there, she opened the door and left her room.
Upon seeing that, Nazar’s worried face was changed with a smile. He released a sigh of relief.
He moved quickly and hugged her.
“Thank god, you are okay,” Nazar said slowly.
As they hugged, Emma saw someone behind Nazar. It was the woman she has in the video.
She was confused and happy. Every time they hugged, she was the one who hugged Nazar and he would never really hug her back. But this time, he hugged her, which made her confused.
“Did anything happen while I was gone?”
“N-no?” She said in a confused tone.
Upon hearing that answer, Nazar let out another sigh of relief.
“That’s good,” Nazar said slowly.
“Why did you ask?”
“Don’t worry its nothing.”
After a few seconds, she noticed that woman in white dress again.
“Why is she here?”
Emma has the video of her fighting Nazar a few weeks ago.
Nazar looked back and saw Aarin.
“Her? Well… she is a friend.”
Aarin, who was still standing in the stairs waved awkwardly.
“But… but weren’t you guys fighting the other day.”
Nazar’s smile vanished.
“How do you know about that?”
“Um… it was in the middle of the city and there are many videos of it online.”
She showed him the video as they walked into her room.
In the video, Nazar is pissed at Aarin and they are fighting. He is shouting words about dying and being cursed.
After watching the video, Nazar’s face went completely red with embarrassment.
“I cannot believe I said all these things out loud...”
At that moment, Nazar noticed something. Something was weird about him coming back from the dead.
He looked at Aarin immediately and asked, “Did you something again?”
With a smile on her face, she said, “Who knows?”
The thing Nazar felt different was that he was actually feeling emotions. Before when he was close to someone, he would only feel happiness, anger, and sadness, but it was very faint. But for some reason, he is feeling more than one emotion. He is feeling many different emotions he has never felt before and he has no idea what they are.
One of the new emotions he felt was fear. He felt fear for his friend and his sister.
Nazar frowned but then smiled. However, the smile vanished too soon.
Just as everything was going perfectly, Nazar felt something. Something has appeared on this planet. Something powerful. Something that was not keeping its presence hidden.
“What is it, Nazar?” Aarin asked as she saw Nazar’s expression change.
“I… don’t know… but I feel...”
Before he could finish his sentence, he received a telepathic broadcast.
“” The man said in Xian, the official language of Vanaha Empire. “”
And just like that, the transmission was ended. Nazar knew that Emily was safe. He knew that Emma was safe. And he knew that his foster mother was safe. So, who was this special female they kept mentioning?

Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.
