Arc 30 - Nothingness
Jabalot Empire:
“” Iget asked.
“” Professor Death said as he kept his gaze on Nazar’s lifeless body and the clock.
Nazar right now had no head. His cells have been blown up to pieces. There is nothing in this room but body parts scattered around the chair. Not even his hands are here now.
“” Iget paused and turned his gaze towards bloodlust who was just a little away from Professor Death. “”
Upon hearing that, Bloodlust just nodded.
“” Professor Death asked in a confused tone.
“” Iget paused. “”
A few seconds later, Bloodlust said, “”
----------------------------------------------------
Vanaha Empire:
The lord of the empire received a message from Jabalot Empire.
As he opened the message, it had a video of Nazar being blown to pieces. The message contained that he has not revived for more than 90 hours. And also that they want their payment ready.
As he finished the message, a smile appeared on the divine ruler’s face. Of course, most people could not see it.
His smile turned into a laugh. He laughed and laugh. It echoed through the throne room. Everyone else was confused. Even his son was confused.
“” Iget said as he stood up from his throne and every citizen across the cosmos can see him through a holographic communication device. He raised his hands slightly and continued to speak. “”
As the divine ruler continued to speak, everyone else found themselves confused.
Kiet immediate left the room and stopped the preparations for Angel Fall.
Back in the throne room, the king continued to speak. “”
As he said that, a holographic image appeared in front of everyone.
“” The king added.
Even though as most people were confused, they all smiled after the last sentence. They did not know why or what happened, but they agreed with their king and supported his decision.
----------------------------------------------------
Jabalot Empire:
Every citizen of Jabalot Empire also found themselves happy. They were smiling because they knew what was happening in Vanaha Empire. They saw the whole broadcast because their king was of Vanaha Empire and he saw the whole thing. He also showed it to his subjects.
They were cheering. They now have access to the one of the biggest empire in the surrounding galaxies. They have access to the best of the weapons and technologies now. Even if they cannot kill, they are more than okay with that.
However, there are a few who are not happy with this. One of them is Brawn. He is a brute force, so he does not need weapons and his lower intelligence does not need technology.
“”
Brawn did not even get to finish what he was saying because Iget knew what he was going to say.
“” Iget paused. “”
Their empire works differently. It is true that they don’t show true loyalty or respect towards their king, but they know that he is one of the most powerful people on the planet because he is of Vanaha Royal Family. And also because they know that he is the only who can manage millions of wild cannons.
It has been 4 days since Nazar died. It has been more than 1 week since they went to Earth and brought Nazar here.
Since the day of his death, Professor Death has not averted his gaze from Nazar and the clock. He has been constantly monitoring it. He wants to be sure how a being with unlimited energies can just run out of energy.
He is the only person who does not care about the celebrations that are taking place. He can make technology that can rival the Vanaha Empire, so he does not need to worry about anything as useless as that.

Meanwhile, in a dark place, Nazar has not even moved for the whole week. He is waiting for his soul to move on to hell. He knows that there are demons and hell, but why is he not being transported?
“What the hell is happening?” Nazar has been muttering this for days. “Why won’t I just die and be gone forever?”
He looked rather sad. He was so happy when he first came here, but now he seems sad.
“I am forgetting things too. Aarin’s memories are gone. The memories of others I had are gone now too. It’s just my own, but it feels like it will not be long before I start to lose them forever.”
In the last few days, he has not done anything besides ask what is happening. He wanted to be done with life… but if this is truly the afterlife, then he would rather not be here.
“Oh, well, whatever,” Nazar smiled as he muttered this. “I have more time to think about other stuff.”
In this darkness, he could not even hear his own voice. His lips moved, but no voice came through.
“Let’s see...” Nazar paused for a little while before his eyes started sparkled in excitement. “Sentry vs Superman. Now that is something I never got the chance to see.”
He tried to force the smile on his face, but it did not work. The smile vanished immediately.
“Ah. I missed a few weeks worth of comics. Damn you, Zerathos.”
Nazar wanted to shout. He tried, but he failed to hear anything.
“I wonder if the comic book shops will be open now.”
He tried to change the topic of his own discussion many times because he did not want to think about the elephant in the room. This darkness. And his family and friend.
“I wonder how Aria is feeling. I remember in comics they said that some might lose part of their memories and personality, but I am not so sure if it is true in real life.”
He tried a lot to not think about this, but he could not control it.
“I wonder how… Emily is.” Nazar paused. “I should not have so cruel to her on Tuesday.”
Even though he cannot even hear his own words, he moves his mouth. He wants to say out the words that he thinks out loud but it is impossible.
“Oh, and her mother was always so nice to me, but then when we met again, I messed up. Afterall she was the one who taught me how to speak multiple languages.”
Last time when they met, Nazar held her long-lost son by the throat and was probably going to kill him.
“I am sorry… Mary and John. I know I have cause you guys so many problems, but you still cared for me.”
Nazar tried to force another bitter smile on his face but nothing came through.
“Aarin… I am not so sorry for everything I have done to you… but I wish I could get the chance to thank you for making it possible for me to buy all those comics, manga and books.”
When Nazar first got her memories, he found out that she was the one who paid basically paid for all of his entertainment. Whenever Nazar wanted to buy something, he would always have the money for it. He did not know where it was coming from until he got her memories and found out she was the one sending him the money.

“Emma… We grew up in the same house and we still don’t know one another… I am sorry.” He paused. “I wonder what it is like to be a better brother.”
Nazar thought back to all the things he had done. How he pushed her and everyone else away. Even though he cared deeply about his sister, he never showed it.
Even though he did not want to think about all these things, he could not stop himself. He has been trying to avoid thinking about them for days, which is why he kept muttering, ‘What the hell is happening?’ He wanted to think about something else. Something that did not exist, but all he thought at the end was about the people close to him. The people he pushed away.
He never thought he would see this day where he would think about them too much, but what Aria told him some time ago, most of his thoughts are about them these days.
“Why… why am I thinking about them so much?”
He has been in denial for the last few days. He has been trying to not think about them, but he cannot.
He wanted to forget hearing their voices in his head but he could not stop it.
Are you really sure about that? You should really look at us, humans differently. What did you think about the happy world I created for you? You should have been her salvation… You should have saved yourself.
He kept hearing their voices over and over again. There were too many voices in his head.
“Shut Up.” He wanted to shout this over and over again, but nothing came out. He moved his hands up to his ears and held them right there. However, he still kept hearing it.
“Stop!”
“Get out of my head!”
----------------------------------------------------
Three days later - Thursday, 11th of July 2019:
Nazar is still stuck in the darkness. He is moving anywhere. He is not going to hell or coming back to the land of the living.
He has been trying to stay like this, but it has been 1 week since he died. He tries not to think about many things. He is losing the memories he has stolen from others. But he still has not lost the voices in his head. The voices he hears from the people he did not want to care for but does. The voices of people he thought he hated but instead loves them.
“Isn’t this what I always wanted?” Nazar said in a world where he cannot even hear his own voice.
“Is this going to be my life from now on? Nothing to do. Nothing to say. Nothing to hear.”
He found himself surprised thinking like this.
“The loneliness… the powerlessness… being dead...” Nazar bit his lip. “Then why am I not satisfied?”
“Isn't this what I always wanted? Then what is this… the emptiness inside me?”
Nazar wanted to die. He wanted to be gone forever. He did not want himself to be trapped in a void with nothing.
“...”
“...F**k this...”
“If this is going to be my life...”
He shouted on top of his lungs. But as usually no voice came out.
(Enable powers. Remove limiters. Return all powers to factory settings.)
“...then I would rather be immortal and live forever.”
He shouted again and this time he actually heard the voice. He saw the light. He felt his body again. He was alive again.
As soon as he shouted that, he found himself in a room. A small room with a chair and a lot of blood.
His flesh has merged together and recreated itself.
(... I was taken by aliens...) Nazar thought. (I need to leave.)
And just like that, Nazar vanished into thin air.
Professor Death has been constantly monitoring Nazar and the clock. 7 days later, he finally heard a voice.
“...then I would rather be immortal and live forever.”
As soon as he heard that, he stopped the clock and tried to warn the rest of the people but Nazar has already escaped. He vanished into thin air.
But nonetheless, Professor Death managed to sound the alarms.
Seconds later many people appeared in the control room.
“” Iget asked immediately.
“” Professor Death said in a calm tone.
As soon as he said, everyone knew what they had to do. They all followed Nazar. It took them less than a second to track Nazar due to the technorganic virus in his body.
Nazar vanished from his prison a few seconds ago and now found himself in the middle of cosmos. He has no idea where he is but he knows it is nowhere near Earth.
He was just outside the orbit of an unknown planet. He looked back and did not recognise it. He then looked forward and saw stars. Stars that are more beautiful than anything else he has ever seen.
(I need to use a portal.)
He knows that using teleportation won’t get him far away, but he believes that portals should do the job.
He was not able to finish opening the portal because his cells started to blow up again.
As Nazar worked through the pain to try to open a portal to the right place, someone hit him.
As Nazar felt pain, Meltdown and Brawn appeared out of nowhere. Meltdown appeared before Nazar, but Nazar did not notice him.
Brawn appeared behind Nazar.
They were both about 100 meters away from Nazar.
They moved towards him at a speed faster than sound. And before Nazar knew it, he felt one kick at his lower back and the other on his chest.
And just like that, his back was broken.
He was pain and wanted to cry out in pain, but he is in space and there is no sound.
(What…?)
Nazar was in too much pain to even think about what happened.
He teleported out, but to his surprise, he was not even able to move 1 mile.
The pain increased further due to cells being blown up. He has lost too much blood and for some reason, his regeneration regenerates his other cells, like brain cells and heart instead of his blood cells.
He tried to teleport again, but the aliens landed another hit on him and this time, his ribs appeared out of his skin.
His face was already full of blood and so was his body.
Nazar thought he was about to die again. He could not think at all. His whole body and his mind were in pain due to physical damage and damage from telepathic attacks.
The telepathic attacks sent his mind into disarray. He could not calculate properly. He could not understand anything. It was too much pain. If his body was not doing all of this regeneration without his control, he would have died a hundred times in the last few seconds.
Nazar then went unconscious.
The aliens moved closer and tried to grab his body, but a light appeared out of nowhere. A light too bright even for the aliens. A light that even blinded someone like Meltdown.
After a few seconds, the light went dimmer and dimmer. A woman was there. A woman in a white dress with blonde hair. A woman with wings and a halo. It was Aarin.
As soon as the light went dimmer, Aarin went close to Nazar and held him close. She then looked at the aliens and with a burst of energy, they were thrown away.
Aarin, with Nazar’s body, also vanished.
Back on Jabalot Empire, where everyone was still celebrating, Brawn, Meltdown and Darkness appeared before Iget.
“” Iget asked immediately when they appeared. They did not have the body of Nazar with them.
“” Meltdown said in a calm tone.
“” Professor Death asked in a confused tone.
“” Darkness explained her features. “”
Iget listened but his body stiffened when he thought about the wings.
“”
“”
“” Iget muttered this over and over again.
The others were confused about why he was muttering is so much. And why he looked so stiff.
“” Rewind asked.
“” Iget said slowly.
Everyone was now speechless. Then after a few seconds, they tried to exchange words with one another just to confirm if they heard it right.
“”
“”
“” Rewind said.
Both Iget and Darkness looked at him.
“” Iget asked first.
“”
There was no reply from Rewind.
“” Darkness said as she left the room.
As she left, Iget started to talk.
“”
“” Rewind was now curious.
“” This time it was not Iget who spoke, it was Reaper. “”
Everyone else was surprised to hear that. Even Iget. He was surprised that someone like Reaper, who seems very young and does not talk much, knows so much about something that happened 30,000.
“” Rewind asked jokingly after a few seconds. To him a few seconds are like days.
“” Iget said that with a little hesitation.

Xiem - Vanaha Empire:
The divine ruler is part of the original Vanaha Royal Family bloodline. This family has been ruling over this empire for thousands of years. Iket had a brother named Iget. Iget was the older brother. He was supposed to become the divine ruler after the death of his father 30,000 years ago.
However, his brother was chosen because of his intelligence. The position of a divine ruler is given to the first choice of a person they refer to as ‘mother’. The role of mother is passed on from one generation to another. This person who has this title at the moment have the full authority to change the king if she feels like it. She also has the ability to stop the king from doing anything.
The ‘mother’ is also chosen from Royal Family. This person has to be extremely smart, has to be able to use magick, have great military knowledge, and have the people behind her. The current ‘mother’ is Iket’s sister. If she wanted to, she can remove her brother from the throne.
She also have the ability to pass on the Divine Power from one person to another. The Divine Power can only be used by whoever is the king or queen.
Once someone receives the Divine Power, they gain strength that allows them to destroy a planet with a punch. They have nigh-omnipresence. They have speed that reaches light speed. They can overrule the thoughts of their subjects. And there are many other abilities too.
When Iket said the sentence ‘Because you have my blessing’, he immediately removed the disagreeing thoughts of all his citizens. This is because they don’t want people to disagree with the voice of God… no, they do not want anyone to disagree with God. The God of Vanaha Empire is anyone who possesses the Divine Power.
The ‘mother’ entered the throne room. She usually talks to the king in private in his own room, which is also his study. However, this time, she came to the throne room. As soon as she entered, everyone else left immediately. The authority of the mother is sometimes even higher than the king himself. The only thing the king has which the mother does not is real physical power.
“” The mother said.
“” The king said in his calm tone.
“” The mother sounded a little frustrated.
“”
“” She paused. “”
The king nodded and she left the room.
The king just sat on his throne. A king should be the highest person in here, but at the end of the day, he might just be a puppet.
(A God? I am not even a king.) Iket thought.
As he was thinking, the people in the throne room reappeared. And they continued with their work.

Harry Potter: New World
It is enough just to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whether a series of accidents, or a coincidence, but now I have to be reborn in a completely different world.
8.18 13807Eusocial
There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper. 8 132Nights of Sambria: And the Wish of Light
“I discovered a secret. One I desperately wish could have stayed hidden. It was locked away, concealed in a fantastical world on the doorstep of 7 billion people who stayed utterly oblivious to it. If they will be spared the terror that is coming, I can’t begin to imagine. Know that a forgotten heritage of a dwindling people whispered, unknowingly sending a call to the ancient mysteries of the world. Something listened. And now events are set in motion that could force the earth on a course of terrible change. I am being hunted and have run out of time. There were no stories about it. No legends. Not even scribbles. Yet, the threat of it is real and that’s why I’m writing this warning with shaking hands. So pay attention those who read this, be careful of what lies waiting cloaked in the darkness. That which made their home the lost places of this world.” She folded the letter with a shuddering breath and stared back in the direction from where the noise reverberated through the halls. It was of stone doors shattering one by one. The chances of getting out safely were all but gone. The letter in her hand was all warning they would have. It dropped into one of the Wells and all that could be done now was hope it was found in time, if at all. -- This was my very first large story. ;) I started writing it years ago. Was fun, was difficult, but in the end, it is a story I hope that will inspire. The prologue is in first person perspective and the rest of the story in 3d. Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known. Remember to leave ratings and reviews. I'm quite interested in hearing your thoughts on the story. ;) Enjoy reading, Omri Hope
