Oh, I leveled up four times, as expected of an S-Class it would take a few B-Class monsters to level me up this much so quickly. And this is only EXP from assisting that battle. Now this puts me at level 22, I’ll distribute my points later.
For now let’s deal with this absolute mess. The entire village has basically been annihilated from the Fusion of all those Third-Class and Second-Class abilities. The ground is completely scorched a pitch black, debris and rubble is everywhere, the air is filled with dust, and a thin layer of frost is currently covering a large portion of the village.
Everything from Cattle, to Chickens, to Houses, to Crops have been completely destroyed. Thank god we have enough food in the storehouse to last a few years, otherwise this might have been the end of the village. Because even with our cheat skills it’s still going to take anything from a day to a week to restore all necessary facilities, and even then it's gonna take anything from a month to a full quarter to completely restore the village to it's former state.
...
“Say, how did a S-Class Monster pop up here of all places.” (Serith)
Hmmm, yeah how did a Reaper end up in the village, or this area in general? There aren't any Necromancers that powerful stationed near hear, nor are there any dungeons. And even if there were Dungeons a Reaper probably would have been the Dungeon Boss, and would have been forced to remain in the Boos Room. The only way a high-level undead could pop up here is.......
I turn my head towards an Otherworlder brat named, Phillips.
“Phillips?” (Daniel)
Everyone turned their towards Phillips as well. If I remember correctly he’s was born about a year ago, so he’s around three years old. He’s a Third-Class Otherworlder with the Personal Ability [Reanimation], as well as a few other Third-Class abilities pertaining took puppetry magic, golemmancy magic, summoning magic, and necromancy magic.
“How in the world did you summon a S-Class Monster….” (Daniel)
“Ah…Well you see, I was experimenting a little with my abilities right? And you know, I was trying to summon a Lich right? But then I ended up summoning a Reaper right? And well…….teeehee” (Phillips)
“Don’t you teehee us!” (Otherworlder)

An Otherworlder behind Phillips yelled out rather annoyed, and smacked Phillips slamming his head into the ground.
“Hey, careful! His base doesn’t even qualify as a Third-Class base! You’ll kill him!” (Otherworlder 2)
“Oh my god, he’s bleeding out! We need a priest!” (Otherworlder 3)
The crowd begins panic, and someone goes back into the storehouse to fetch a priest. It was a little excessive but he deserved it, but still how did a Third-Class ability produce a S-Class Monster? That’s something only First-Class abilities could do at his level. I wonder if we overlooked something, no we definetly overlooked something.
Otherworlder’s are oddly common in this world, and this world has already endured decades worth of Otherworlders slowly flooding in already. But even after all these years we're still for the most part a complete mystery. How we got here is a mystery. How we got our powers is a mystery. And sometimes even our powers themselves are mysteries.
So it's quite common to screw up the classification of an ability. There have been a few times where a First-Class ability was mistaken a Second-Class ability, and times when Second-Class ability were mistaken as Third-Class ability. Our abilities are just to mysterious, and even the users themselves are completely incapable of understanding their abilities, and at times completely incapable of using them.
This goes even for me.Even after 5 years of comprehensive study, even I don’t completely understand the limits of my powers. Whether if it’s due to one’s fear, one’s own inability, or simply their lack of understanding there have been so many people who just haven't been able to use their powers to their limit, or ever truly understand them in the first place.
“And I’m assuming this is your fault, Daniel” (Serith)
“Hmm? The Reaper?” (Daniel)
Serith flew down, and landed on the ground gracefully. And as she approached me the surroundings quickly grew colder. She really needs to work on her control of Ice Age.
“No, the village.” (Serith)
“Nah, you should know I don’t have anything this destructive.” (Daniel)
“But I also know no one here possess something this destructive. You should just waited for me or Gil, or Mephi.” (Serith)
Ah, she still calls them by their pet names. Gil is Gilfred, one of this villages three First-Class Otherworlders. He’s the strongest out of the three, and he’s been in the village for a total of 8 years. He has a First-Class base and a First-Class ability known as the [Seventh Sense] that's kind of like my [Intuition].
While Mephi refers to Mephistopheles, a chunni First-Class Otherworlder originally named Tyler who’s been in the village for five years the same as me. But we call him Mephistos since Mephistopheles is way too long, and he threatens to kill us otherwise. And of the three First-Class Otherworlders he’s the weakest, and only has a First-Class base with several Second-Class abilities.

“Well, you’re the only one who probably would have come over. Mephistos is held up in his lair as usual, while Gil is…you know in his usual spot.” (Daniel)
Serith frowned, I hit a sore spot didn't I…
I really should learn to shut my mouth, that warning from Intuition was a little late....
“Still? Gil...... I knew it I should definitely go up there and-” (Serith)
“Serith! Just stop....."(Daniel)
Sigh, I really shouldn't have mentioned Gil. Actually wait, she mentioned him first so it's not really my fault.
"You should have just gone with Emma a year ago….” (Daniel)
Serith turned her head, and stared at what was formerly the village with a solemn expression, “But then the village……” (Serith)
“The village would have been fine, even against an S-Class we’d still be able to manage somehow. You’ve been here for 7 years already, you need to leave. The longer you wait the harder it’s going to be to adapt to the outside world. You’re almost 21.” (Daniel)
“But Gil…” (Serith)
This girl..... She really has a soft spot for Gilfred despite being so cold usually. Ah, If only that didn't happen.
“He’ll be fine, you should understand he’s not like us. He doesn’t have the World System or the Hero System. He’s not like Mephistos who possess a Devil’s Heart, or like those sickos who come here with twisted minds. He’s different......or rather he's normal” (Daniel)
Serith frowned, and the surrounding atmosphere grew even colder.
“Wow, it’s a wreck out here!” (Villager)
I turn around, and it seems that the rest of the village is starting to come back out.
“Yo, Daniel come on we need to clean this place up and start rebuilding the village!” (???)
I turn my head, and notice a toddler standing up proudly in a diaper. That’s Baby Patterson, he possess an odd Second-Class base that slows his growth and increases his longevity. He’s been in this village for a year now, and he’s technically 3 years old, but with his slowed growth he’s still only the size of a one year old. That’s why we call him Baby Patterson.
He possess a rather powerful construction cheat, and he’s the one who goes around fixing all the houses for the most part. It’s hilarious watching him go at it too.
“Sure thing! Hey, Serith tone-down the cold a little, we don’t want it snowing.” (Daniel)
“Ah, sorry.” (Serith)
I enter my Spatial Storage and grab a flashing rainbow potion made by our former resident alchemist Emma. She was Serith’s best friend, and another First-Class Otherworlder. She had the First-Class Personal Ability, [Queen of Flora], and [Flame of Gaia]. She also had a number of Second-Class Crafting abilities, and a Second-Class base with the World System.
She was a rather eccentric Alchemist, and I bet there was probably no one in the village who caused as many explosions as she did. Plus she made the most absurd potions.
For example this mana potion, just a sip could easily fill my large mana pool, but the ever changing flashing colors of rainbow could easily give someone a seizure. And it tastes like the rainbow too, which is apparently skittles flavored according to Emma.
Well, she's known as an eccentric for a reason. I doubt there’s any other Alchemist out there who’s made a Potion Unicorn. And yes, that is a Unicorn made out of Alchemical Fluids, and materials. It resembled a slime, but it wasn’t a slime and it was shaped like a unicorn. That’s the best way I can describe it.
Anyways, after drinking a little bit of my Skittles flavored, seizure inducing potion my mana pool was already filled up so I suppose it’s about time to go to work.
“Daniel.” (Serith)
“Hmm?” (Daniel)
“Here.” (Serith)
Serith handed to me a small snowflake necklace.
“What’s this?” (Daniel)
“Just use [Appraisal] on it, it’s your going away present” (Serith)
“Ah, my going away present. Thank you.” (Daniel)
“Well, I’ll be going. I hope we can see each other outside, don’t die on me okay?” (Serith)
Serith turns, around and starts flying up. I stare at the small snowflake and smile, “You too. Oh and one thing I haven’t learn [Appraisal] yet” (Daniel)
[Appraisal] is a World and Hero System skill, but it’s one World System user have to acquire one way or another. Or they have to be born with it like the Hero System users.
The atmosphere suddenly grew extremely cold suddenly, and Serith turn around and glares at me.
“Someone give Daniel [Appraisal] already!” (Serith)
