I continued my work digging the tunnel with a new style, even though it took longer, I could see its usefulness in the future. 3 days later I was a few miles in to the tunnel and I would occasionally get potions as well as healing potions. Since there were a few times I struck my self and before passing out I would quickly drink my potions so that I do not fall unconscious. I even got carried away sometimes in developing my new skill that now I could make the pickax dance completely around me, it would spin so fast that even small rocks falling from the celling would get completely crushed to dust by this.

I had was roughly in 4 days of mining before I took the skill one step further to start carving not only completely around me but above me as well. The results of this made the tunnel I was digging a lot taller so instead of an oval tunnel it was completely round with 6 meters in every direction. I made sure not to dig in, in to the ground while several lines that appeared before me guided me.

On the 8th day I finally made it to the other side. I again ran back and asked Kal what this was about. It had a chest that was no more then 1 foot wide and one foot tall. He only said that it contained the item I was looking for and it seemed that it had a trap. The trap was that the cavern would fill with water completely. I didn’t do any other preparations for that since I had a skill for breathing in the water. It too will teleport away in 5 seconds it seemed.

I went back and opened the chest as well. Since it was so small I had to make a choice if I should place a storage point on it. I ended up putting one either way. It was a gamble and it could render that storage point useless because of its small size. However I hoped that something might respawn in it later or something of that sort. Or at least I can hide one item in it. That would take years to be discovered. Either way I placed one in it and in 5 seconds it disappeared. The entire time I had my eyes closed, so that I wont be blinded by the light again if there even was one.

The cavern did flood the place and stayed like that. I swam towards my tunnel to find a film like barrier stopped the water from rushing out of the cavern. It didn’t show resistance as I walked right through it.

When I got back without running this time since I was tired, to the main cavern. Lets just call it that. Main Cavern, everyone was waiting. It seemed that Kal was still sitting with his feet in the Miracle Water. Amelia was cooking something up and the bear rested near the lake. The entire cavern was now filled with nearly 4 feet of black topsoil. It spread out throughout the cavern.

Everything was set and ready to grow the seeds. I quickly took out of my bag the bag of seeds and the crystal I got from the tiny chest and showed everyone. Nothing of note happened what I showed them.

Zen: Hey Old Man now what?

Kal: Simple, that crystal is a seed in itself. Place it in the dirt so that it touches the dirt and the water. The other seeds in that bag should be planted around the edges of the cavern. Make sure the small seeds are planted a hand apart all around the cavern, then enjoy the show.

We did as he instructed and after we planted all the seeds on the perimeter one hand apart. It seemed like the full bag of seeds was now empty and even the bag evaporated as if part of the seeds.

We took apart the fire that was on the black soil as to let something also grow there. It was time to see what happens. As we sat at the little pond we saw lights come up from the water and in to the seed that was touching it.

Suddenly the crystal seed cracked and revealed what was in side. A simple seed that immediately sent roots in to the little pond and some in to the black soil. The bottom of the pond was now completely covered in roots and a sapling began to emerge. As if everything was on a fast forward button the tree began to grow.

Just when the sapling came out little tiny green leafs sprouted on the perimeter and also began to emerge when all of a sudden they stopped.

The small sapling was continuing to grow and the little green leafs began to turn brown and in one fell swoop cough on fire. They were burning.

Amelia: Oh NOOOOOO!

Kal: Its not over. Just you watch.

She quieted down and just watched. The tree grew so fast and even though the little leaflets that were dead and burning where amazing still burning. The sapling was now as big as a small apple tree. Many flowers I have never seen before in rainbow shape began to form on the tree. It then seemed to stop growing, however the flowers radiated in rainbow like colors seemed to make it look as if it was a rainbow sea, on a tree. The fires all around extinguished and we though it was now hopeless. Then all of a sudden the tree burst with a watery mist that touched every part of the cave. As the ground got darker, the dead flowers again began to grow at a much faster pace then ever before. Faster then the tree grew. The flower not only grew where we planted them but everywhere in between the perimeters all the way up to the little pool and the once that grew at the bottom of the pool seemed to have transformed in to another type of flower. They even grew underneath us pushing us up unwillingly, which made a nice feel like a bed of sort.

Zen: Couldn’t your friend make you a burial chamber that looks some thing like this?

Kal: They are limited in what they can make. However dragons specialize in destruction and not creation.

Zen: But if you knew the method of making this then why not use it?

Kal: It requires the Miracle Water first. I can say that the other places are similar to this one. With the exception of the beauty this one has. The seeds you took are what I should call one of a kind. They were given to me and I never told the other about them. I only asked them to place them near the burial chamber so that I may remember them.

Zen: Who where they give to you by?

Kal: Before I answer though. I have to say, your work is not done yet. You have not yet achieved your goal of 100% in every category. Touch the pond and pull up the cave Info. You still should be able to see it since its part of a quest you are on.

Zen: Cave Information.

Zen: So how do I improve this?

Kal: As for beauty you should think of something yourself. Perhaps give it a human need for it. Protection wise the caverns you made are quite rigid ready to collapse, and before you ask this water will no longer move. It seems it has moved three times in total.

Zen: I only saw it move 2 times though. One when I discovered it seeped in to the cavern from somewhere and then moved it here. When was the third?

Kal: Well the third one it didn’t move however it forced to move one last time by the tree to irrigate the dead flowers.

Zen: I see, So how should I go about making them look as good as this cave?

Kal: That I will have to teach you. So listen closely. The technique I taught you earlier, the figure 8 or the omega motion you used. You must use it on the walls again while pouring Mana in to the pickax. You also need to make sure that since there are no more obstacles in front of you not to focus on digging but focus on trimming and polishing of the tunnels. Thus you have to focus on making your motion even faster. I see that you were able to teach yourself of how to use the skill even above your head. So what you need to do to reach 99% in beauty and protections, is pretty much polish up the tunnels. That should also bring up the completion of the cavern to 99%.

Zen: How do I get the last percent?

Kal: I don’t know. No one has ever achieved it so I don’t know. It requires something either magical or extraordinary, or perhaps a very plain aspect. Don’t know is the bottom line. Even without it your quest will be complete, so don’t worry.

Zen: I still want the 100% completion. So for now I will go polish up the caves.

I then started again at the bigger tunnel and expanded the cavern to match the rest of it that had a 6-meter diameter. It took me one day to make it same size and polished. I was indeed the same style as if the Miracle Water had moved through this tunnel and transformed it a new.

While I was doing this I could not shake the feeling about the messed up tunnel I had to the other Mountain that was around 5 meters in diameter. I guess ill ruggedly dig it again and pass by a finishing touch. It should allow me one more day to come up with something that would finish the last percent.

Indeed it took me 2 more days in order to finish polishing the tunnels and then I sat down looked at the cave info and indeed everything was at 99%. Amelia came and sat beside me handing me a wooden bowl full of a beef stew, which had some stringy vegetable to compensate for the noodles.

Zen: What shall we do with the one percent remaining?

Amelia: I don’t know everything in here is just so perfect.

Zen: Hmmmm..

Amelia: Yawwwwwn..

Perhaps we should take a nap. Maybe that will give us an idea. So we fell asleep.

Suddenly I was shaken awake.

Amelia: Zen we must hurry it seems there are a few hours left before the deadline. What will we do?

I stood up washed my face and sat. I for the first time wanted to lean on something while sitting. The tree was already occupied and Kal was leaning on it. I didn’t want to share a tree to lean on so I went out side and found a huge boulder. Placed the storage circle just next to it and rolled it on the storage circle. It must have been around 10-meters in diameter so there was no way I would be able to carry it in threw the 3-meter entrance. So I then quickly ran back and summoned it before my hand it actually was able to teleport. The huge rock was now the most ugly thing within the cavern. I rolled the huge rock with all my efforts next to the pool and again quickly ran to the water filled cavern and set another storage point within the bottom of that cavern. I then ran back and opened an active storage before my hand and water as if from a pressure gun came out and I washed the rock with both of my hand. The excess water went in to the other water and also mixed in. I didn’t notice it at first but the entire cavern was being filled with water.

The entire now had roughly another foot of water above all of the ground and flowers. I at once thought I had ruined everything. I then noticed that the water never rose above one foot of water. I then looked why was it so. As I continued to actively poor water out of my hand I noticed it didn’t leave the cavern as if another film kept it in, instead of having water run outside via tunnel.

A few moments later I noticed the Miracle Water had a big whirlpool that was taking in all of the water I was pouring our and I then focused on sending the water that came from my hand in to the whirlpool. Just to see what happens. I even expended the active storage summoning to one meter in diameter. Everything bit of water was sucked in even with the increased output, the water never rose above 1-foot in height.

About 30 minutes later after this discovery the water stopped pouring from the storage, so I canceled it. I then watched how the flowers that were spread around the cavern grew even taller with huge leaves all over the place floating on the remaining water. The pool was now also submerged under this water, although the reflection of light intensified so greatly that even though it was night out side it looked as if it was nearly daytime in the cavern. The only shade was probably right next to the tree. Even the huge rock left no trace of a shade.

Kal: My lad! It is time. Let us take a look if that did the trick. I don’t even know if that was your intention or not. It seemed like you only wanted to clean the big rock over there and I have a feeling the turn of events lead you to an new discovery that even I could not for see.

I then walked and touch the pool of water under the foot of water. “Cave Information Window.

Amelia: Zen I received a message that says the quest is complete and says to await our reward from the Spirit who will now be summoned.

The water in the cavern started to turn as if a big whirlpool was being summoned. It didn’t go beyond that. Then a huge bright light came from within Miracle Water in the center and after a flash, everything was calm.

I saw a boy who was now talking to Kal.

Boy: It has been a while Kal.

Kal: It has been a long time indeed, perhaps 2 thousand years no?

Boy: More like 2 thousand 500 years. Kal seems you succeeded in this quest I gave you roughly at that time. You have made a perfect dwelling place that I gladly accept.

Kal: Yet it wasn’t I who built this place. Even if I did I would have figured it out, of how to make it 100%.

Boy: Oh you are not the one that did this?

Kal: You can thank those two over there.

The boy who was floating turned to us and seeing us smiled.

Boy: You have my gratitude oh strangers. Not only for saving a dear friend of mine, but also finishing a long going quest of his. He seems to even have forgotten it. Speak what would you like for you gift?

Zen: Hello my name is Zen and this is Amelia. We are glad we have finally finished with this quest. However we did not do this for you. We did it for Kal and of course for our own desires.

Boy: Agh.. Where are my manners? Please call me Elloid, I am the King of the Spirit Realm and I handed the quest down to the King of Dragon to make me a dwelling so that I may visit this world. The power required and the Certain Spirit Water of King level, was also required and between other small and much needed thing also required to complete this. Has been seen as an impossible task that you have completed. So what is it that you desired then?

Zen: Simple, this shall be our home and retreat here whenever we feel like it.

Elloid: Ha ha ha ha ha is that it?

Zen: Yes.

Kal: I did not tell this to you earlier Zen, however when the dwelling is established for a Spirit a person other then the Dragon who has claimed the Spirit Water and the Spirit of the Water. Can only remain within its range for 1 day before they are teleported out.

Zen: Kal I think you are forgetting something I had placed to claim on everything I did here before I met you and I had used my strength to build it. I will not let anyone take and claim my hard work and dwelling.

Amelia: Zen is correct. If we have to we will lay ruin to this place even if it takes us a millennia. We will never hand it over to anyone, who wishes just to take it.

Kal then stood up and walked a little stretching. It was the first time I have seen him so actively walking.

Kal: I am truly grateful to what you did and will forever be in your debt. However the rules are not set by me, they are set by……..

He looked at the Spirit King.

Elloid: This was indeed interesting. Well as your reward, I will give you permission to use this place the way you like. It is after all, as you say, it was you’re before mine. If you allow me to also use this dwelling to visit this world more often I will impart you with another gift.

Zen: I don’t mind sharing as long as I remain the true owner of this place.

Amelia: I wont mind either if Zen is so willing.

Elloid: Very well, you Zen and Amelia are the true owners of this place however you will not be able to kick Kal or me out just because you are owners. You may bring in whom ever you want, however they will only be able to stay here for a day.

Zen & Amelia: Agreed.

A light shown within us and settled down, with a mark that appeared on my shoulder and the same mark on Amelia’s shoulder.

Elloid: So the secondary gift I will give you, is of my choosing since your desire was so grand. I will give you both and have already given you that are within that mark on your shoulders. Lies the ownership of this place and it also gives you the ability to use the blessing of this “King “(new portion of the name which was added with the arrival of the Spirit King) Dragon Spirit Essence Water to be used even when you are not within range. The effect of the blessing is for 10 hours. However you can only use it on your selves and once per day.

Zen: Thank you for the amazing gift. You said no matter the distance I could use this blessing? Are the other affects of the same as that pool of water?

Elloid: Yes they are however you should look for yourself since the pool of water took on new form it also took on new affects.

Zen: I can’t see the stats yet so I can’t check that just quite yet.

Elloid: You can’t? Oh that’s right, you don’t meet certain requirements. Well the how about this I will give you a complimentary gift.

The tattoo on my shoulder again glowed and settled down.

Zen: Hmmmm. I guess I should invest all my bonus points in to Fortitude. If a simple weapon gives you a damage of 15 with STR and other stats it might bring it up to 30 - 50 damage. So if I have 1500 in FRD then I would be able to ignore 75 points of damage including dragon attribute, which bypasses any defense. Hmm. I guess I don’t need so much STR since I got my nice Item, including the buffs it should be nice. Ya I will go with that.

I then distributed all my bonus stat points in to FRD.

Ok so I was making good progress for sure. I guess with the buffs from the water I grew quickly constantly mining. I was still interested in seeing my skills but decided that I will check them at a later day.
