I turned towards Amelia to see her in a weird daze.

She snapped back to reality. It seems ever since the Spirit King had made us owners of the cavern she was in a daze all this time. It seems like that was the time our quest was finished, but since I turned my notifications completely off, it didn’t notify me. Yes at one point it was up, but then every time I was digging and hit my self a window popped up saying that I received damage, so I turned it off since then.

Amelia: You have to see this Quest Completion Window.

Before she said show to Zen, I already spoke up to open it. She had another one of her daze moments?

Amelia: You can already use stat windows? Did you level or something?

Zen: Did you miss the part were that Spirit King gave me this as a complementary reward?

Amelia: Ah I was probably staring at this window. Hurry look at the rewards.

REWARD ERROR: You are not able to receive 1,000,000 Fame points because there are no village, town or city within 500 miles or 100 and more people in your area. Thus your Fame cannot spread. Thus the points will be converted in to Bonus Stat points. The penalty for converting Fame points in to bonus stat points is 1000 Fame points to 1 Bonus stat point. You are able to do this at any time were you receive fame over 100,000. If anything under 100,000 is earned during any event that is 500 miles away from a city or in the presence of less then 100 people you will just loose the Fame reward. You cannot convert the Fame points freely, unless you make more then 100,000 fame points, which have to be converted within 10 minutes of reward or else it will be locked without further conversions possible.

Well it seems that it’s quite simple to understand what many of them mean but common what kind of naming sense is that? Why wont they just stick to simple names like just a blacksmith or magic instead they put titles to them? What’s with that? Anyway, what should I do now?

I was standing in the water all this time the only spot that was dry were either the top of the leaves that were now around 4 meters in length and 2 meters wide. I tried to lie on one and to my surprise it held me without sinking in to the water. It felt as if I was lying on a waterbed of sort. Even though I never slept on a waterbed. I called it out of my bad naming sense. While looking over the details of some stats, all it really did was enable me to learn higher tier magic or blacksmithing. In the end I will still need to discover them my self over time. I dozed off from thinking so much while lying on such of a comfortable bed.

I don’t remember how long I slept. Once I woke up I noticed Amelia lay by me and too dozed off.

Kal: Oh lad seems you are alive and awake. I though you perhaps will never wake up.

That is when Amelia somehow too woke up. It was if both of us were on some sort of sleep timer, that no one even set.

Kal: I see the Lady also wakes up. You too have been asleep for nearly 3 days. Do you know that?

Zen: No. However I need to go back to sleep for 6 more days I believe.

Amelia: Me too, I presume your talking about logging out right?

Zen: Yea.

Kal: Great then I will see you in 6 days. I should be completely recovered in that amount of time.

Amelia & Zen: See you then.

When I woke up. I saw food placed all around me. Seems I haven’t woken and eaten anything for the past two days. Gosh I am starving, I ate at a slow pace because I didn’t want to cause health problems to myself. After I finished eating I had that feeling gone which was with me even in the game. I think its called starvation. I was used to it, but to go this far playing this game was really bad. I then set a rule to myself. That at most I will ever go inside the game. Would be 1-day real time, which was 6 game days.

I ate real well and did some work around the warehouse before going to sleep in the real world for several hours. Then my internal clock woke me up to tell me that 6 game days have passed and so I logged back in.

I woke up and saw that Amelia was already here and talking with Kal. I then approached them and he spoke up.

Kal: I have something for both of you. Not only did you help me with a quest, I didn’t really feel as if I rewarded you with something other then couple talents and skills. Hey Elloid did you summon the awards I want to give them?

Elloid: If its something for these two fine people and on your request at that. There is no way I can say no.

We saw one huge 3x3x3 meter chests appear on a leaf and to my surprise it didn’t sink in to the pool of water.

Kal: This chest is for you both to use. You both put one of your storage points in it. You will be able to store in it an infinite amount of items and other things. This chest is the only kind in existence since it is part of the Spirit world. No one but you will have access to it. However you will not be able to release the storage mark once set and the chest will enter the Spirit World. So will you sacrifice one of the 5 storage points?

Zen: This will be my third sacrifice with the storage points.

Kal: Third?

Zen: The two flashy chests with traps. Remember?

Kal: Don’t tell me you also placed the mark in both of the chests, right?

Zen: I did just that.

Kal: You do realize what that means. As soon as you take out another item from within the dragon in charge of that chest will be after your skin. You do know that, right?

Zen: That’s why I was going to use your help or do it when I am able to beat any dragon.

Kal: I won’t help you, since I told you about the taboo. With my full strength back, a simple attack of mine might kill a simple dragon. Then I don’t want to reveal my self as alive just yet. I want to see the debt that the assassination of myself was staged. It couldn’t have been only one dragon who wanted revenge and then the other guarding this place also miraculously vanished some years ago.

Zen: Then option 2 I get stronger or I take and items and forever run from the dragon, on the other hand ill just get stronger. What if I place an Item and take an Item out>?

Kal: That wont work. Your storage talent will only work to withdraw from those two chests. Not to place something in them. If at some point you accidentally do withdraw something, the dragon will appear within minutes in front of you. He will give you a moment to return the item. If you want you can ask him that he let you release the storage thing. He will let you, do not try to swap the item or he will just simply kill you then. Then after you have given him his treasure he also might kill you.

Zen: Thanks for the extra information. I always need information.

Amelia: Hey Zen would you put your mark in it already. I really like this infinite space storage. We could probably store all of the ore outside.

Kal: Oh yes one last thing. You will only be able to store a by-product. Not raw material in to the storage. So if you wanted to store all that ore. It would have to be in form of bars. Same with leather and herbs, all of that raw material needs to be refined at least a little bit before you will be able to store them in this infinite chest.

Amelia: Still a good storage. XD

Zen: So why cant we see the info window for this storage?

Elloid: Because its of spirit realm and doesn’t belong to you but the royal treasury which I cannot completely hand over the rights of this storage to you, although I can permit you to use it as much as you like. I will also preserve any food you store in it.

Zen: So we are borrowing?

Elloid: In essence yes. Although the mark you placed will never disappear from it again. Since you two wont ever see it after this.

Zen: Either way thank you for this wonderful gift.

We both placed the storage mark within the chest and it disappeared.

Zen: Hey Amelia, let me try something.

I then stored a potion I had in my bag, in to the chest.

Try taking out what I stored.

Amelia: Zen when I think, of what’s in the chest I see a screen that shows me, that you stored a healing potion I gave you. Right?

Zen: Yes your right. Now let me try. Store something just don’t show it to me.

Amelia: Ok go ahead.

As I pictured what could be inside the chest. Indeed in my mind a widow like interface popped out and showed me that it had, one potion and a gold coin.

Zen: This is amazing. You can even store money. Wonder if it stacks if I put a gold coin.

Amelia gave me a gold coin since I had no money. I placed it in and the weird thing was it didn’t stack. I then tried and actually was able to withdraw both of the coins. However placing them back this time made them stack. It seemed it recognize the money as mine this time since I put it in and it stacked items that came from me and kept separate from thing Amelia put in.

Amelia: Well now that we played around with the new storage thing we got. What now? We finished the quest, but what now?

Zen: I don’t know either. Perhaps I should build a small forge so that I maybe able to smelt those ores in to bars.

Amelia: That would be a start, I guess. Hmm..

Kal: May I suggest something. I was talking with Elloid there it seems that. The Human Kingdoms are suffering defeat after defeat near the frontier around 800 miles from here. That is probably the closest village to this place. So perhaps you can go help them. You Zen with digging expertise should be able to carve a path through the mountain range where ever one is needed to make it safely to the village. I have to say there are many dangerous beasts right out side these 5 mountains. So you’ll have to be extra careful. Only advance during the day and before night. You should make a cave that will be hard for large predators to get in. It seems that animals in this mountain range prefer the night. I wont give out more info then that.

Zen: NO. It is way to cold out there among the snow. Somehow it doesn’t snow within these 5 mountains. Plus I got a lot of smelting to do.

Kal: If you agree to go help. While your gone, Elloid and me will build you the nicest blacksmiths workshop this world has seen.

Amelia: If you include the nicest Alchemy shop as well then we have a deal.

Kal: Done

Zen: Very well then. So through which mountain shall we dig a hole throught?

Kal: No need for that. I have put a teleport ring just near the entrance to this cavern. It’s a two-way teleport ring and will teleport you just to the other side of the south mountain. You will need to go 800 miles southwest. There you’ll find a human village nearly ruined.

Zen: Can’t you just teleport us all the way there?

Kal: The dragons will sense such a teleportation and come after the person who teleported that distance to get rid of him and anyone around him. Since he is able to teleport that far.

Zen: Well then, it’s about time I make the necessary preparations for our departure. One last thing, we got no winter clothing and I don’t know or have tailoring skill to make anything. How am I going to go about that?

Kal: Agh you are correct lad. Then I will put a small blessing on both of you, it only last 15 hours a day, the blessing will renew it self every 9 hours, until you reach the village. I won’t be able to bless you with anything more potent, or the dragons will sense it and come in a flash after you.

Zen: That ok. 15 hours is better then none. I will have to make a fire for the other 9 hours, making a total of 24 hours.

Kal & Elloid: Then we too will get started with the rewards.

Elloid: Just so you know these will be constructed in the spirit realm so if you do not accomplish the quest you will not get the reward.

Zen: Can Kal enter the spirit realm?

Elloid: Yes the Dragon King and former Dragon Kings have that privilege. Since he recovered all his strength he will have to use 90% of Mana and Stamina just to enter. So you can imagine the power required to enter such place.

Zen: Won’t the dragon sense this attempt?

Elloid: Not exactly, since its Spirit Magic and as far as I know. A very few can sense spirit magic and the current Dragon King is not one of those people.

Zen: I see well take care.

I stayed since I was curious on how he was able to do that, however to my disappointment I only saw them blink away. Without any signs of magic, guess I cant see it or sense spirit magic.

I placed down a storage marker near the soon to be pile wood. Amelia placed one on the bottom of a small river, which was going to be our water source. I then commenced to chop trees in to firewood, to make it quick I used 1x1x1 meter wide cubes. It was a simple task with my Elemental Hand Combat Skill. Amelia at this time gathered apples that she stored in our infinite storage which seemed to accept it as food rather then raw source. She also placed an empty storage point out side the cavern to be used as an empty storage point if we need to transfer some goods to this location in their raw form.

Nearly one day later was I had a small mountain of wood pilled over the storage point to be accessed while we travel in order to use as firewood or for any other purpose. We were ready to set off in to the long journey. Both of us decided to take a day off (real world time) and log of. This was going to be a long journey with who know what. So we wanted to eat and exercise our real bodies for once.

As soon as I logged off I went around our little neighbor hood slums and greeted everyone who was around and about doing their chores. All of them had different in game names which would be hard to keep track of so I address them as Neighbor 1, 2, 3 and so on.

I then told them all of how they can make real money through the game and they set their goals on making money so that when the company really does introduce the real money conversion system then they would try and bank in their game coins for real money, only a few showed signs of trying to find something new within the game, which could be sold.

Well it went like usual gardening, exercising, socializing with people and then it was nighttime. Where I actually slept real life sleep. It seems that so much time has passed although in real time it was much shorter.

The next morning, I woke up and did simple stretches and after eating logged back in to the game.

Amelia: You’re late by nearly a day.

Zen: I slept in sorry. Are you addicted or something?

Amelia: Well no, however I am excited to leave this place already.

Zen: Lets get going then.

Amelia: Should we try and catch a few bear perhaps you can win with me? That way we have fur for clothing and some meat.

Zen: Now that you mention it I totally for got about them. Yes lets go take them on. I say we only leave a few alive and store as much meat as we can.

That day we hunted over 100 bears and in all, it only took one strike for me with the pick to instantly kill them. I even tried without the pick ax and it would take me a good 25-minute fight before I was able to kill it with my hand combat skill. When fighting it, with just my hands, I would take enough damage to make my health plummet with nearly ¼ of my health remaining. It was harder to find them then beat them. It also took time to disassemble them and prepare them so that they were not in raw form to be able to store in the infinite storage box. The food was probably the only exception. It stores the raw meat like a food item so we didn’t have to do much with that.

We hung the bear furs out to dry, however after a slight experimentation where we placed the raw bear hides in the magical water it treated them and tanned it for us. Seems like the properties where the magical water transformed the cave. It also did the same to the raw hides and made the hides tanned with a slight shine in them. I assumed it was a good sign, since the infinite storage was able to store them now. We treated the 100 furs we had and store them. At last after assuming so many times we were ready for travel this was it. I was not going to take any ore I dug up, since we had our own plans for those ores. Thus we never left a mark under them.

Hence we began our journey, to the unnamed frontier village.

Stepping on the teleported and saying teleport, we arrived in a small cave, which seemed to over look a river covered with ice. Walking outside we saw that there too was a film, which not only closed off the entrance to this cave but also camouflaged the entrance. If I didn’t know there was an entrance there I would never have been able to identify this place having a cave at all. It seemed to look like part of the small cliff. I walked back through the wall and was back in the cave. After reconfirming its existence we decided to start walking on the river, which was covered over with thick ice completely supporting us.

I than though about reaching the small frontier village and an arrow pointed to its destination.

Zen: Amelia just curious do you see the same arrow I see?

Amelia: Nope, it’s probably something about that line talent of yours.

Zen: Seems we are in luck. It seems to point to the direction we must go.

Luckily the arrow pointed in the direction the river was going and that is why for the time being we followed the river. There was also a small timer to the right of our vision, which began counting down when we stepped out of the cloaked cave. We had 15 hours till until the blessing would seize for that day.

Walking on ice was very hard, and so I improvised and cut down a huge tree, which I then trimmed it and made a log boat of off it. The elemental hand combat seemed to be useful even outside of combat. I was able to cut out a sort of canoe I once saw a picture of.

The tree I used was roughly 2 meters in diameter and I cut in about 6 meters long. Instead of cutting the top off completely I only made a meter wide hole near the back of the log. I then proceeded to cut the inside of log. The lines again appeared as I was carving, keeping in mind that I didn’t want to make a hole and keep a diameter of the inside at maximum 1 meter. It was done rather quickly, I left about 3 meters in front solid wood incase there would be impacts on the rocks or the like. I then proceeded to carve the bottom of the make shift Log U-boat and made it flat so that it would not roll over.

It took me 2 hours to make while Amelia was scavenging for herbs. She came to check on me often and when she got back I was done and finishing the final touches or our new transportation. Currently we were in the higher mountain ranges and that is why the river flowed downwards. We didn’t know how far we could get using this method, however we were not in a hurry and since no monsters showed up, we took things slow. I in that time also made a sort of a bottle plug to close the entrance to the U-boat after it was under way.

Amelia got in the and made sure to activate her Magical Water Blessing and so did I. Now the question is how were we going to propel even though the river was flowing sort of downwards it was at a very slow decline that would not propel the wood due to the friction.

I pondered for a little until I came up with a simple solution. Paddling seemed like the best idea, however instead of using a paddle I used my pickax. As I slammed at the Ice on the right and then left in quick succession, it made the U-boat take off as if a small speedboat. I don’t know how fast we were going; all I know after I hit it couple have times I then ducked inside. I then checked if we were going the correct route, and noticed it stuck with the river path since it was the least resistant path. The banks of the river were slightly higher so it pretty much steered our U-boat.

After hitting the rocks couple of times Amelia brought out nearly 10 furs and placed them around us and made them like cushions for the impact of future boulders and the like in front.

Every once in a while the U-boat would slow down a little and I would stand up out side and further paddled with my pickax. We were lucky that this entire area seemed to be frozen and as far as my eye could see it was also frozen. The river sometimes veered from left to right, although it did not matter and the 3-meter thick front seemed to hold and not shatter. The log actually also became coated with by ice. It was warm inside the log and seemed like the plug not only did its job, my only concern was the oxygen only to find another simple solution. Activating the empty storage Amelia left back at the Caves it also transported the warmer atmosphere and oxygen at that.

We again were amazed at how lucky we were with that ultimate ability to store thing, pretty much anything. Every time I felt as if we stopped I would push out the plug and propelled us again. Then going back in the now speedy log. For those who are wondering what we did with the plug in order not to loose it, we used Amelia’s empty storage to temporary store it. Since we didn’t want to loose it, during the propelling.

We felt and even my lines showed me that we were at a slightly bigger decline were, further propelling was not necessary. The fur all around us was quite soft and made those small collisions with rocks feel like nothing happened at all. Hence we fell asleep after approximately 8 hours of traveling this way. I guess we just got used to it.

Every 4 to 5 hours I would wake up with my internal clock and check the heading, although there was no need to open the plug due to the speed being decent.

2 days later Amelia and I woke up to a new sensation. It felt as if we were falling. Without thinking much further we both at the same time touched our tattoo and used the blessing, which we have not used since the first time, when we set out on this river. Just in time too.
