Raytearth was a world riched in mana and everything that exist depends on it, people's lives were build around it,beasts bask in it to become magic breast, vegetation grows because of it,the earth supported life because of it.
Mana energy is found in every living creature and in every facet of nature, in the ground;rivers, air and even in metals, therefore the residents of this world build their culture around it as it is abundant and yet indispensable. They invented magic as a form of materialized mana and also developed technologies in harnessing its power for their everyday lives, examples of such are lighting, clean water and others.
By using catalysts called staves and magical weapons, races with affinity for magic were able to manipulate the mana within themselves and the surrounding into a physical manifestation. Thus the term magicians was created for those with such talents, the magicians with their magic brought fore many inventions and revolutionize the world into what it is today.
To this present day there are mainly three types of mana user acknowledged by all , as most of the mana users will fall under one of the three categories. Those three paths are the magic practitioner, those whom uses mana from the surrounding and one self to channel it into catalyst like staves to created physical manifestation called spells, the martial practitioner whose who uses their inner mana to enhance their physical body and to perform martial skill. And lastly the most rarely seen among the three, the enchanters.

The one that kalm was currently pursuing falls under the second category on using the mana within himself to boost his abilities. This was the path his grandpa chose for him, the path toward a berserker. In order to begin walking on the path, kalm had to first have a powerful yet resilience body frame in order to be able to take huge punishment and mete it out, thus all the training he had done constituted to what he had accomplished to this day.
Walking back to the cabin while holding onto his grandpa's huge hand gave a heart warming image of the doting grandparent with his overly zealous grandchild appeared to anyone whom saw it. Both eagerly made their way back to the cabin because of hunger but one was moreso than the other.
The cabin door squeak as it swung open and what greeted them were the enticing smell of a feast. Pile upon piles of hot roasted meat could be seen upon a wooden tray siting on top of a rectangular wooden table with side dishes of meat stew with bread setting up the entry to the meal. Swallowing a big gulp of his own saliva kalm immediately went and sat down on the chair while ushering the old man to make haste toward his seat so that they can start their feasting.
Looking at how kalm was acting, the old man could not help but sign,
'' Just because of food, this boy throw out all his training in discipline without a second thought, i'll guess that the training in that aspect was not sufficient enough,I guess i'll have to ramp it up a knot''
Kalm pretending not to hear what the old man said, and instead glaring at the food with predatory instinct as in truth he was really really hungry. Ever since in his previous life after his parent passed on, kalm didn't have any decent meal and by coming to this world it was like entering heaven. Just by not starting to eat without his grandpa was already taking up every inch of his will power.

''Grandpa...can we start eating now?'' said kalm as his eye was still fixated on the food in front of him.
''Haiz, show some discipline and restrain, then ask the question, it seems that right now even without me giving permission, you will still go for the food you gluttonous brat'' lectured Grandpa agze with a smirk on his face.
''Grandpa how can you say this, i been following your training and have discipline my mind, body and soul with my upmost effort. I believe that i've been doing great recently so you should praise me more.'' exclaimed kalm as he reached out one his hand unknowingly toward the food.
''Smack'' a sound came as kalm retracted back his encroaching hand and rubbing it with his other.''Eh, my hand moved on it own'' exclaimed kalm as he made a childlike mischievous face indicating that it was intentional which made his grandpa gave out another long sign. Having given up in the matter, grandpa blunt usher kalm toward the food as he sat down on the remaining chair by the table. Thus both of them began having their meal not before their prayers of giving thanks to the goddesses but in actuality the scene of 2 lion devouring a dead prey could be used to describe the picture as once their hand touches the food all hell broke loose.
'' Grandpa, you preach about discipline but look at you now'' said kalm with a mouthful of meat.
Bong!a knock came upon kalm's head together with'' Don't talk with your mouth full''

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
