“What did you say!” Jacob screamed, with indignation..
“I said that you will be living here. if you live here, you can build your own park faster,” said Mom.
Now that I think about it, it is quite logical.
“Great idea mom. I suppose that if I lived at my new property, I would be able to develop my park that much faster, ” said Jacob, with a pondering look on his face.
“Yes that will benefit us greatly,” said Steve.
“Excellent! Now that you both agree, we are going to help you move your stuff and your mother and I can go back to our home. Before I forget, here is the rest of the money that you earned working for us,” said Dad.
Dad gave me a bag of gold coins and helped me to unload the remainder of my things from the carriage to the inside of the house. When we were done, they said their goodbyes and drove away on the horse drawn carriage. After they were gone, Steve asked:.
“Jacob where shall we start.” “You should focus on turning the mana you got into park points. I am going to plant the seeds I got,” Jacob replied.
“Excellent idea. I will start right away,” said Steve.
Park points are a type of energy derived from mana that park crystals use to grow. A park crystal can also use other types of energy but the cost is higher than when you use park points. Park points can also be created from other energy sources than mana (though they are far less efficient and effective) and energy passively absorbed from the environment can be turned into park points as well.. Residents of the park produce excess energy that boosts the passive energy in the environment, thus plentiful residents or residents with a lot of mana can also help a park crystal develop park points..

I took my time carefully planting the seeds in strategic positions that would maximize their growth. Upon finishing my planting, I asked Steve: “How did it go?”
“It went really well,” said Steve.
“Nice! How much did you get,” asked Jacob.
“About 5000 park points, “ said Steve.
“Excellent start Steve,” Jacob exclaimed.
5000 park points may sound like a great deal of points, but it’s actually a pretty small amount. This is because: the bigger your park expands, the more energy that you need to maintain it and Steve had just entered his early growth period. I wanted to check my skills to see if there had been any growth in them due to Steve’s actions.
“Open skill list,” said Jacob.

"Show status to Steve," said Jacob.
After Steve saw my status screen, he said:
"They are pretty good stats."
"Thanks Steve, " said Jacob.
'What should we do now?" asked Jacob.
"Why don't we make our first park item," answered Steve.
"Marvelous plan Steve, but what should we make?" said Jacob
"Maybe we could make a well for watering the seeds that I planted," said Steve.
"Very well. Let’s do it,” said Jacob.
I quickly used basic park magic to create a big hole until I found water. Meanwhile Steve created stone around the insides of the hole and made a top to cover the well and allow one to draw its water. By the time we were finished it was already getting dark.

8 623Rory Richardson: If He Had Lived.
Join Rory on what could have been. Taken tragically from life by sudden infant death syndrome. Join in the reimagining of what his life could have been... With a system forced reset of human civilisation thrown in for good measure. One minute Rory was a college student struggling under pressure, the next he and the entire world find themselves at the mercy of the System. Its sick sense of humour results in Rory and hundreds of others going through the tutorial from hell. Monsters straight out of myth become reality, forcing Rory and the unlucky group to fight if they are to have any chance of survival. Those that overcome the tutorial will be thrust into a totally alien world, where might and magic rule and where humanity is far from the top of the food chain. Join Rory as he comes to grips with his new reality, developing new powers and gaining friends and foes alike. This is my first attempt at writing a story of any kind and is dedicated to Rory who died from SIDS at a far too young an age. This story will contain great adventures, epic battles, good friends and foes alike. I am aiming to create a world that will, in some small measure, hopefully keep his memory alive.
