When you play campaign mode you and your hero will we teleport to the side that your hero is into aka illuminate or abyssal then you will be received by your king and then you will be able to explore the world and receive some quest or missions , this missions are important because you can level up with them or you could also go to explore and kill some beast when you kill the beast you also get EXP but the EXP you get for fighting monsters on the same level as you is really poor so most people prefer to use missions ; now each time you died you lost 2 levels and you resurrect in the nearest town there are no items that buff your hero but there is what we call pets, pets can buff some all your abilities but not that much however they are practical, like the heroes the pets classified themselves in bronze, silver, gold, diamond, emerald, and Mythril, you can get the pets in events or in some extremely lucky chance in the world.

the second one: Ranked mode

This is the interesting one when you play ranked mode you will gain two things: MMR and a rank, when we said rank we talk about your position in the world all of LoH player has a position do you understand?
