She has to make sure she exists so she has to keep him safe at least.
Clare walks out of the adventure guild into the streets at night. One of the adventure runs up to her to warn her it wasn't safe at night. 'Guess It'll only be polite to introduce me to the teenage boy.'
"Clare. My name's Clare Levita Sen Lisora," Clare said. "thank you for your concern but I can take care of myself."
The teenage boy in leather armor and a sword at his side stared back at her disbelieving. He was 19 years old with orange hair and grey eyes staring back at Clare. " A 15 year old girl is but a small girl that hasn't had her coming of age ceremony yet so let me walk you home."
Clare's eyes twitched in annoyance at the boy's ignnorance. "I'm 13 but I've already had mine." The boy's eyes widen as he looked Clare up and down confused. "That's not possible we don't do that here," the boy said. "I live in the demon's country," Clare countered. The boy looked at Clare frighten.
"I'm not going to kill you. Now leave me alone," Clare said. She sighed under her breathe as she walked slowly away from the Adventure Guild. She swent towards the fort. This city was the fort city Erlonga. It was now a fallen city from the war and they were in middle of repairing the walls and the fort itself. But instead Clare headed towards the fort. She could her screams as she headed down the stairs. Inside the fort she was heading to the jail. Clare's steps echoed on the stairs as she went deeper under ground.
Her feet stop at the end of the jail cell all the way in the back that looks abadoned. "What do you want with me now," a old man's voice echoed from the cell. "Are you here to tell me I'm not getting any more food again."
'Ah ancenstor you are so pitiful,' Clare thought. "Actually that's not why I'm here old man Aran," Clare said.
"So a little lady came to visit me then," Aran mused. "I just wish to get you out," Clare said. "You a little lady," Aran said laughing. Clare grabbed the iron hinged doors and swung the door off and tossed it aside the opposite direction where she came. "You were saying," Clare asks. "I see little lady is powerful indeed but I'v got these.........on."
Her eyes went to the the enchantments on his wrist and ankle. Which cancels out his magic. "Easy," Clare said. "But we'll undo those once we get out of the fort." Aran look at Clare astonished by the girl's strength. "So which way out," Aran asks. He look like he was around 35 with grey hair but he was older than that. Aran was 346 years old. But his clothes were aged over the years and so Clare pulled out a black suit and gave it to Aran. "Young girl why do you help me," Aran asked.

"To make sure I don't cease to be," Clare said half jokingly. Aran laughs at Clare. "Funny girl. But interesting." Clare shrugs as she blasts the wall to another jail cell. "I thought we were being subtle about this," Aran said. "But it's faster this way. Plus they're a bit short on men since they've got to rebuild." Meaning she wants us out of here while we can get out before they're done with building. They walked into the moon lit street. The streets of the city were desolate. Clare undid the binding with brute strength. Since she knew magic was useless against the enchantments.
"Ah I see your part vampire too," Aran said. His voice happy seemed happy to see another vampire. 'I'm a little disgusted by the fact he almost hugged me in those ragged clothes too when we first came out,' Clare thought. "Lovely moons once again to be free," Aran shouted. Clare covered his mouth. "QUIET!!!! We just escaped with you. Unless you like the grey stone walls. I don't mind if you want to stay there again alone. I'll probably bring you some females to play with." (she means to drink from)
"Sorry I haven't seen one for 50 years," Aran said. "And let me guess you are still unmarried," Clare asked. Holding her head with a headache. "Damn forgot mother said he was a late bloomer," Clare whispered to herself. "Did you say something," Aran asks. "Nothing at all. Must've been your imagination." But Clare did want to live peacefully with the humans. 'Though it's not a choice at the moment since I did kill their general.'
"So what did you do during the war," Aran ask her curious. "I was collatoral. Major damage to all sides." Aran bursted laughing saying good one a vampire causing a war. "Wait your not kidding." Clare crosses her arm and gave him serious face. "I mean you didn't massacre millions just to prove your point now did you."
"Hm....did I? I traumatized some angels," Clare said. Aran look stun at the girl in front of him. "Let me ask you this what is your age."

"Oh my age fixed itself now," Clare motions to her age. Aran sighed at the young girl in front of him. She could be considered a world class monster counting her and the mage Erica. She was just 13 years old too.
Clare books a room for them at a inn near the gates. She tossed Aran into the bath and told him to clean himself up. "And she just tossed me in here like a rag doll," Aran said. She handed him a towel and some night clothes. (Pajamas)
Aran came out and sat in the same room as Clare. (They're sharing a room) "You know I'm not into a little girl." At those words Clare's tail gripped tightly to his left leg. "Wait your part Devil demon type. Forget what I said about you being a little girl," Aran corrected.
She made her tail release him. "Stand guard I'll lure a human girl to you to drink from." Clare opened her third eye and used devil's blood eye. A smile cross her face amused. "What is it," Aran asks. "We need humans and other races to coexist since we need their blood. But without us vampires there is also a tip of the scales with other races too," Clare answers before going back to possessing someone.
-------------------------
"Princess stop!! Where are you going? We're just here to look at the repairs and how the city is doing," guard A says.
Pulling back her long black hair the knight princess glares at him. "I'm patrolling since we're short on men in this fort city." (Clare's smile seems sinister. Aran shivers)
"But miss what if the king hears about this," guard B complains. "Oh he'll deal with it father is a former other worlder," she answers back. "Princess Eliana stop. By the order of the queen you are not to do any risk taking by using knighthood as a excuse," her maid yelled.
Eliana roles her eyes at her maid Fiona. "Right it's just a small patrol. What can go wrong," Eliana asks. "We have lots of causalities so you better not try anything stupid," Fiona flared. Her maid's beautiful white hair glowed in the moon light. Fiona was a angel and she had been with Eliana since Eliana was a child. 'I just hope that child doesn't bring trouble,' Fiona thought.
Eliana marchs through the town. But she's confuse by why her feet brought her to the inn near the gates. There should be nothing wrong there. She opens the door and the inn keeper greets her. Her eyes widen in horror as she stops in front of a door and is pulled inside. A 35 year old man stares back at her as he let go of her shoulders.
---------------------
"Done. Aran you can go ahead now," Clare said. Her eyes wondered to Eliana statisfied with her catch. "You brought the 3rd princess to us," Aran shocked. "I said I'd bring you something," Clare said, " now enjoy the meal. "
"Wait don't tell me you rented this room for both needs," Aran panicked. "Yes I did. Do you expect me to sleep in same room as you two. Also your 346 year old vampire that is a virgin and unmarried. But you look to be fit in your 35 year old looks. You should be fine. It's not like your fangs are virgins too (Meaning you have bit some before right is what she's saying) so you can probably handle that," Clare said. "I'll be outside in the inn bar."
She left a ackward Aran with Eliana who stared back confused. Clare heard a scream of fear from the princess as she went down stairs to the inn bar. 'So he finally bit her. She's a bit too old for me too bite. I don't go for 28 year old ladies. 13- 25 year old or similar looks to that are more my range to bite,' Clare thought. "What will you have little missy," asks the inn keeper. Clare smiles to her.
"I'll have Tiras'(rabbit) soup. And Fiaro steak, make it medium rare," Clare order. Sila sat down across her with a smile. "So your not listening into those two then," Sila asks."Nope. Great (x 18) grand isn't the type to. That guy's a romantic kinda guy. Which is why he's still single," Clare mumbled.
'So you are having the same trouble as me with Ritsu,' Sila pitied. "Don't you dare say it," Clare said. "That we are similar," Sila ask. "I wish for vampires to coexist with the humans because," Clare started. "Do not finish that thought Clare. Humans will reject the foundation of such a absurd plan," Sila said.
Sila is glaring at Clare while Clare's waiting for her diner to come. And she lift Aran to have a bite since she hasn't got a clue how long it's been since he last drank.

NOTE: A review on this fiction has indicated that certain themes were traumatizing. While I believe this to be exagerated, I have added the appropriate tag for those who may be sensitive to those themes (fever dreams, delusions, and trials and tribulations).

They know their path to be the righteous one. One to roam the land, hunting for all apparitions, and be scorned by man and beast alike. They know their path to be an arduous one. One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.

There were no boundaries, it was endless, nothing to indicate that there was something within the distance. He grasped his hands and looked upwards towards the sky as he lifted his hands up. A dark void appeared in front of him, but only to disappear once again. Voices entered his thoughts, pain struck his head, he gripped onto his hair and groaned in agony. He looked forward and saw an image blurred in front of him, fading in and out. “Young one... “ the blurred image simply spoke. The young boy didn’t say anything and only looked down at his wound on his chest. It was a large gaping hole that passed through him, however there was no blood spilling out from it, the veins and arteries only dangled in place where a heart was supposed to be. Realising the cause of this scene the boy asked. “Am… I dead?” “Hahaha, no not at all.” A wispy tired voice simply chuckled “Then… what do you want with a dead man… but my hands...boy?” “ Well Do you…” “Do I?” “Want to change fate?” Welcomed edits and suggestions.
