[Advice before entering the Night Glowing Cave!]
"Hey, they are actually this item within their List of Recipe! Not bad at all!" I am whispering to myself as I ready saw this two specific recipe within their list.
Recipe 139 (30 Black Spirit Crystals)
Demonic Air Shooter
Rarity: Range Weapon / Grade 10
Pricing for complete product: 20-50 Black Spirit Crystals
Equipment Stat: Varies
Recipe 140 (30 Black Spirit Crystals)
Demonic Metal Slugs (1)
Rarity: Basic Ammunition / Grade 10
Pricing for complete product: 1 Black Spirit Crystal for every 10 Slugs
Equipment Stat: Varies
I looked at the drawings of the way this two recipes would look after it was successfully made, and noticed one similarity. The Demonic Air Shooter is actually a handgun weapon, more accurately, it is shaped like a Desert Eagle Handgun, but this design seems deadlier compared to the one I've seen before in my world.
The Demonic Metal Slugs is the same as the bullet ammunition in my previous life, in its similarity and builds. After looking at this two recipes, I've decided to purchase it and paid a total of sixty Black Spirit Crystals for it. But the moment I got a hold of this two recipes, the cashier, also an old man, begins to talk with me.
"Young Man, are you intend to use that weapon?" he asked. I chuckled for twice and replied. "This senior, of course, I will be using it once it was completed. This is a weapon after all." I answered. As he heard my reply, he immediately added. "Just remember, the build of this weapon is very sensitive, and make sure you follow each step before you rashly use it in a battle. The slugs recipe might be quite complete, but the composition of the chemicals within still need to improvise, so make sure you are confident with your creation, before you sell it or use it." the old man speaks as he touched the scar that starts from his nose, towards the back of his ear.
"This junior will make sure to remember this senior advise." I thanked the senior before I left, and as soon as I returned to the Refining Workshop, I immediately went back to my room and begins to absorb the 100 Yellow Speed Crystals, and also some additional crystals in my Inventory. Since my last time I contributed a total of 90 Medium Grade Green Physical Crystals, I will make it 45 Red and 45 Green Crystals this time.
By calculating out the figures I need to delivers to the Refining Workshop Management, I actually had a total of 93 Medium Grade 10 Red Power Crystals and 67 Medium Grade 10 Green Physical Crystals remains. "I guess, I will absorb all of it, and get ready for the rations and other required preparations before I get into the Night Glowing Cave." I whispered to myself, as I start to get a rest after I absorb the Medium Red and Green Crystals.
Unexpected to even myself, the Medium Grade 10 Crystals actually gave a bonus of (+0.10) to my body. The next morning as I wake up, I went directly towards the merchandise shop this time, just to buy some of the of the dried rations before I went into the Night Glowing Cave. I spent a total of 10 Black Spirit Crystals to obtain twenty of the more nutritious Dried Blood Soak Jerky Meat before I went to the Blacksmithing Workshop.

Here once again, I paid two Black Spirit Crystals, to use their workshop tools, as I repaired my Fine Grade 10 Brass Pickaxe. Since it had been almost a week mining without stopping, the 81% of Brass Component within had already wear off, leaving about 75% of it still remains within. I tried to properly repair it and spent a total of 13 Brass Rod (1%) to make it back to a total of 81% quality.
With the Pickaxe is completely repaired, I've decided to put some effort into making another item. It was my Recipe number 3, the Wrist Bracer with Needle Launcher Projectile. The build is quite simple, and the only difficulties lie within its hidden launching compartments. But with my experience in assembling such kind of tools, crafting a weapon of such quality, does not really become a difficulty to me at all.
I start by hammering the plate that will be going to be the main component that will be wrapping across my whole wrist, and slowly cut off the excess part where it will be needed to fit the Hidden Launcher as the crafting goes along its way. The Buckle is prepared next, as the joining process will be starting soon. With the buckle soon completely join together with the Wrist Part, I begin to slowly form the scales that will be used to enhance the defensive outer part, while using the accompanying materials to smoothen and lacing the inner part.
The moment the main part of the Bracer is completed, it is time to patiently attach the piece of Needle Launcher Compartment now. A number of Brass Rod is quickly used along the way, as the Needle Launcher Compartment is slowly assembled. Luckily the Accompanied materials are enough for the required total, I succeed in creating a quite efficient two needle launcher Part, with a nice five sets reloading is encased within for easier reloading.
Next, the scales are attached to the Main Wrist Guard, as I slowly attached the Scales one after another. A total of 30 scales is made from using 10 Brass Rods, and for the Launcher Component, a total of 5 Brass Rod is used to creates its parts. The Main Piece of the Bracer and Buckle cost another 5 Brass Rod to creates, and finally, five more Brass Rod is melted to creates a molten Brass Solution that would be applied on the surface and joints of the whole Wrist Bracer, included the part where the Needle Launcher Compartment is attached and joint with the Bracer Main Guard.
Finally, the product is completed, as the similar selection screen actually came out again.
"Wrist Bracer is successfully created. Satisfied with your works?"
Yes
No
I choose yes, as a shining light begins to envelop the whole completed Wrist Bracer. And as the shining light dimmed and gone from the Wrist Bracer, a status screen of the equipment finally appears, and looking at the status, immediately makes me smile.
Agile Brass Needle Launcher Wrist Bracer - Wrist Guard
Category: Armour / Grade: Medium Grade 10
Durability: 50/50
Stats: 14 DEF / 1 VISION / 3 AGI / 2 LUCK
Equipment Bonus: Allows the Creator to have double its Stat when equipped.

This is a good item! It actually allows its creator, myself to have double the stats when worn! Without any hesitation, I put on the Agile Brass Wrist Bracer and move around the Workstation as I tried to feel the comfort of wearing a Wrist Bracer wherever I go. After enjoying the moment for about five minutes, I am totally satisfied with this item I just crafted. And it is only from a Brass Rod. How will it be, if I actually force even more Brass Component into this equipment, and make it above Medium Grade?
But for now, that is all unimportant. The most important thing is, I will be entering the Night Glowing Cave soon. With the 2 Points in Vision Increase, will allow me to have a more acute sense of sight when I am within the cave. Just this alone, the equipment already allows me to have an extremely valuable advantage.
I returned to the Refining Workshop and get a good rest, as I wake up the next morning and heads to the Refining Central Workshop to give notice of my intention to enters the Night Glowing Cave to Senior Brother Kong Rong and Section Leader Zhu. The moment I entered the Crystal Section, the situation within the Section actually quite messy and havoc, with workers rushing up and down, almost everywhere.
I tried to ask a few of them on the whereabouts of Section Leader Zhu and Senior Brother Kong Rong, but it seems like they are too busy to even bother about me. After bothering to ask around for about ten minutes, Finally, I saw Senior Brother Kong Rong. "Senior Brother!" I called him from afar, afraid that he will be gone by the next second.
We get closer and started to talk. I immediately tell him my intention of entering the Night Glowing Cave and wished that he and Section Leader Zhu will give a little opinion regarding this matter. In the same time, I gave Senior Brother Kong Rong a look at the Agile Brass Wrist Bracer I had just crafted. The moment he heard about the Night Glowing he was somehow moody about it.
"Junior brother, I will be honest about this matter. The Night Glowing Cave is only flourishing because of their few speciality product, and another reason is due to the very rare Night Copper Dust. The primary material you will find it most easy to obtain is the Night Glowing Sand. They glow in the dark, and within the Cave, it is extremely difficult to navigate, and need to be extremely careful because sometimes, your opponent is not human or monster, but your greed and your lack of caution."
"The Night Glowing Cave materials lost its brilliance if it was brightened up by another source of lights. So if you are bringing a torch into the cave, be ready to not even able to spot a single Night Glowing Sand on everywhere you went. This is why, I said, it would be extremely difficult to navigate within the cave. The next thing is their Night Glowing Stone. Although it is also easy to spot, if it is hidden between some rocks and small cavern, make sure to be very careful."
Why, Senior Brother? I thought they say it is without any monsters?
"Well, it is not monsters, but as I said, natural occurrence and lack of caution will also cause you to be injured or worst, dying within the cave. The rock that already formed into a cavern is extremely brittle, only a small knock is required to bring the whole part of the tunnel falls down on you. Even if you aren't injured, being trapped within a tunnel so deep and only have 500 People within, do you think it's almost same like not being able to return alive?"
"Alright, the next is the Night Glowing Bead. This bead only glows at the deep of the tunnels. So make sure be very careful as you mine the wall of rocks, but remember one thing as well, if you start to see a brighter wall of rocks across your path, do not hesitates to move towards that direction because that is how you spot a Night Glowing Bead."
"Then, the Night Glowing Pearl. This is only obtainable if you are lucky enough to have an encounter. We called it the Glowing Rock Oyster. It sounds alive, but not. It is created from two parts of the cave erosion water formed into a stalagmite, and later into an oyster shape shell that is empty within. The empty part will slowly be formed into a Marble Pearl, which is hard and has the properties of glows in the dark when it was showered with the crystal Water."
"Alright, the explanation was done, now is money. A hundred Night Glowing Sand could be refined into a Small Night Glowing Crystal, which in exchange could be sell for 10 Black Spirit Crystals. A hundred Night Glowing Stone could be refined into a Medium Night Glowing Crystal that could be sell for 50 Black Spirit Crystals. A Large Night Glowing Crystal is refined from a hundred Night Glowing Beads and can fetch a price between 100 to 150 Black Spirit Crystals, depending on the market."
How about the Night Glowing Pearl, and also the Night Copper Dust, Senior Brother?
"Hahaha, that two? If you managed to have the luck to get the Night Glowing Pearl, it will not be sold in the Marketplace, maybe the Refining Workshop will tender it on your behalf to the Ling State Auction which will be held in either Ling Shen or Ling Cheng City. It might fetch a price of 500 to 1000 Black Spirit Crystals I think."
"For the Night Copper Dust... If you are lucky to get more than enough to form a Night Copper Ingot, I guess you could roughly tender it for around 200 Black Spirit Crystals? Although it is rare, sometimes, some random people could stumble across the vein, and managed to get a good haul from there. It is all depending on your luck."

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer.
